Hotel was very disappointing.
It is certainly dated and worn out. This is a bad representation of a Radisson Hotel. The room had a sewer odor, the shower curtain rod was drooping inside the tub and would not hold the shower curtain closed. The faucet would just spend either clockwise or counterclockwise turning off and on. All the traveling I do all over the country, this has to be the worst Radisson Hotel
Was there for a conference, lunch as served but there were no vending machines available on the 1st or 2nd floor. They are only on floors 3 and up but you need a room key to get to those floors. I asked the front counter how I could get a soda and he would not let me use the machines and recommend I go across the street to the casino.
Nice enough hotel.. Big rooms.. Little TV.. Deck door was oddly locked shut. Faces a busy street so some noise. Good restaurants nearby.
Arrived early 11:30am ( 1 night stay) $30 charge for a early check in understandable you could say, parking is $5 unlimited ins/out. Its in the bottom garage looks extremely shady at night and dirty . A lot of random people Hang out down there at night so wasn t able to get a good night sleep thinking my car might get broken into.. yes the place is misleading in photos looks good but no way it s rundown for sure . sink and bathtub literally peeling like really? And it s this much for a night stay? Front desk people/lobby is exceptional for sure , I will say tough it s in downtown so a lot of homeless hang out around . My recommendation is Do not and I repeat do not stay here with family/children especially because of the parking situation and people hanging out at night .
when it comes to hotel staff -Radisson hotel fresno does it right! super friendly and helpful! was always greeted with a smile during my week long stay, from the security to the managers they have went above and beyond to meet my every need and i cant say enough about the restaurant in the hotel! chef lang (hope thats correct) absolutely holds it down in the kitchen , best philly cheese steak of my entire life and the waitress was super friendly and very prompt! i dont understand why the house was not packed because the level of food was better than 5 star dinning ive had in san francisco. all in all the Radisson fresno does a great job! A shining gem in down town fresno ca! if i could give more stars i would because they truly deserve it!!
Old building but it's clean enough for a night stay. Breakfast was so-so.. or maybe because I am getting bored with hotel's breakfast
Great location. I love getting one of the top floor rooms with a view. The only negative thing about the rooms is that you cannot go out on the balcony for some reason. It would be very nice to be able to walk out onto the balcony and enjoy the view from one of the top floors. Other than that, the hotel is nice, modern looking, quiet, clean.
Patio doors are screwed shut, bathrooms don't have exhaust vents. Big downside if you are rooming with a co-worker with bad gas.
The staff is kind. I was able to use my computer and print it. It's also free. There was also water in the room and on the second floor there is a coin washing machine and a dryer. It was a package hotel, but I am very satisfied.
Not up to Radisson standards. I started out optimistic because lobby was nice, but as nightfall came the homeless people loitering and sleeping just outside the entry way was not good. I got to my floor and immediately noticed the badly scared walls. Got to my room and curtains were half hung on the hooks and holes in wall where pictures used to hang and empty picture hooks. Security assisted a passed out drunk or high young lady onto a baggage cart to haul her to her room where police or an ambulance should have been called. This was just a horrible experience. Could not sleep checked out at 3:30 AM and went to another place.
Had a pleasant stay with reasonable amenities. The hotel bar had a good selection of spirits at a reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable.
Great employees, however we were woken up early by a fire alarm test. The first few intercom words were "emergency! emergency!" Very startling first thing in the morning. After a couple rounds of this it finally said test this is only a test. A warning would have been appreciated! Other than that the room was great, comfortable bed and the employees very nice.
Not the best area. Staff is good but yikes don't go out at night.
Great price on a last minute stay for business. Room was comfortable and clean can't complain. Breakfast was available in the morning for $, food was not bad, service was great tho. The business facility was perfect i was able to print out what i needed. The area surrounding the hotel is under construction so it's dirty and loud but should look great when completed. Overall great stay and price was awesome.
This place seemed skechty for a Radisson. It's dark and smells and looks kinda like a dungeon. They really need to fix the decor.
There was some sort of plumbing leak in the first room I stayed in that got the carpet wet around the entire bed. I complained and moved to a second room, which smelled funny but was much better than the first.
With that said the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and although, I think the staff knew there were major issues with the first room and still booked it they were polite.
I was supposed to stay at the Radisson for 3 weeks, but I ended my stay after the first night and found another hotel.
Good luck with this one! And hotel owner/manager you need get on that remodel processes, hire a really arichtect and general contractor to get this place up to par.
Staff was great, room was OK. Hallways were a little rough. Casino attached attracted some characters.
Location, location, location. Hotel is located in downtown Fresno. Limited access to restaurants. Of the restaurants open, most of them close by 6. Otherwise, the staff is accommodating. The building is old and could be updated.
This hotel is a mixed bag of good and not so good. Pool and fitness room are nice, bed is comfortable and linens clean. Staff is friendly. Restaraunt service is sub par, balcony doors are screwed shut, air conditioner does not regulate temperature, shower water is tepid but sink is hot, no refrigerator or microwave in rooms, bathrooms do do have exhaust fan and elevator always stops at the first floor, even of you swipe your key card for secure access. Parking is free and security keeps an eye on things in the garage.
Room was gorgeous, bed was clean, everything else gross, walls, headboard etc but fair price
Really nice people operating a slightly run down hotel. Our room had several little mechanical issues, but was clean, comfortable and quiet. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge for our perishables -- isn't this standard for decent hotels? No free breakfast. The lobby has some comfy nooks to hang out in, but you have to contend with dreadful Top 40 music playing at full blast.
Nice rooms. Friendly staff, convenient parking. Refreshing bed. Enjoyed our stay.

Not impressed. I walked in to find my room smelled like someone closed all exit points, and smoked a carton of cigarettes. Every time I returned to the room...I could smell it again. Sorely needs a remodel.
Staff was great, family on the hospital and they where very accommodating and helpful. Rooms where clean and beds comfortable.

From the moment I got there, Rude staff, front desk and room service Was so rude, I Ordered room service and the cake that tasted like soap..No one was friendly, when I booked the room it said sleeps 4 but there's 1 bed in the room and when I checked in, the front desk lady said, "well you booked it 3rd party so I don't know what to tell you", I don't think we have any roll away beds but I checked...So rude!!! HORRIBLE STAY!!!

I've been civil and patient with the hotel management at this company. It all started after me and my wife's wedding on Oct 30th we went with a group of family members to Fresno, CA to visit Yosemite National Park. When we arrived at the Radisson, the hotel room was already in bad shape. The first picture shows the blood stained curtains. I didn't think much since I was so tired after the wedding. We stayed a total of two nights at the Radisson. The first night I woke up with a few bites. I thought they were mosquito bites since we went to Yosemite. My body had not yet had an allergic reaction. On the second night, my whole body was littered with over 40 plus bites from head to toe. We had to get up early to catch a flight so I did not have time to fully inspect what kind of bites they were. After I got home from the vacation, I started itching the bites which my body became extremely irritated and had an allergic reaction. I went immediately to my primary doctor and then a dermatologist, both stating that they were bed bug bites. I then informed Radisson about the incident. They had told me that they would get pest control to do a full report. A week later, they said they found no bugs. I demanded the Pest Control report which they would not reveal and told me insurance would be calling me. Hanover Insurance then called me and got all the information. They concluded after the investigation that there were indeed bed bugs in the report but they would not reimburse me for my week of missed work and mental/physical scarring. Not only did the hotel lie to me, but the insurance company would not release the pest control report. Something is not right here and clearly, they do not put customers first. They didn't even reimburse us for the room!!!! I have contacted my legal representative and we will be taking this to small claims court as it seems Radisson hotel lies to their customers and does not take ownership for their wrongdoing. Do not stay at this hotel! You will regret it when you wake up with bed bug bites all over your body due to their negligence.
Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were modern and spacious. Located in downtown. Currently Fresno is trying to re-establish their downtown nightlife but currently don't think there is much.
It was clean and spacious rooms. AC barely worked and it was a very hot weekend.
