Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff and good food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people.

The hotel seemed to be very nice and the few staff I talked to were very helpful.

Should have stayed at the Motel 6. Not only would they have left the light on and I would have been able to get a good night's sleep. The AC unit in the room was the loudest I've ever heard. It's as if there was a little gremlin inside of it! I stayed in a room with a balcony, bad idea. There is a huge gap at the bottom of the door, which means you can hear the loud kids in the pool area and the drunk adults acting like kids, without having to leave your room. Good thing I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and knew that if I put a wet towel in the gap, that it would reduce the noise! Congratulations on giving Radisson a black eye. NOT WORTH $220 PER NIGHT!!

I attended an event at the Radisson Hotel. The location was easy to find and there was a pleasant, quiet atmosphere as we walked through the hallways.

The Radisson is a very nice clean and friendly hotel. I recommend anyone to stay there

Did not receive housekeeping services although they were requested twice. We have been there several years in a row. Hotel just seems to be only doing the minimum to stay open. Hot tubs have been shut down. Just an overall feeling of being let down.

It was really fun I loved the rooms and the startbucks and the pool inside looked cool along with everything else idk anything about price but it was nice. Yeet

The rooms were very clean, nice and spacious. The pool was located directly off the lobby and created a great affect for the atmosphere for hotel. The only thing I would have liked to see is a sperate "kiddie" pool. The little kids are forced to swim in the shallow end and when the older kids are playing and having fun (nothing wrong with that of course) it gets a tad overwhelming for a little one that doesn't know how to swim. The other perturbing issue had to go with the fact that that the electronic card reader went out on our door. Not a big deal, I know, but when coming back in from a long night that last thing you want to do is walk back downstairs, report that the card reader doesn't work, and then wait 10 minutes to get into your room. All in all, the hotel was a pleasant experience.

MY STAY AT THIS HOTEL STARTED OFF FAIRLY WELL, ONE NIGHT WENT OK EXCEPT TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE SLEEP NUMBERS BED. UPON MY RETURN THE SECOND NIGHT WHEN I ARRIVED AT MY ROOM AND STARTED TO DO MY 3 HRS OF PAPERWORK I HAVE AT THE END OF EACH DAY, I REALIZED THAT I COULDN'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET SO I CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND SPOKE WITH JANICE WHO TOLD ME THAT INTERNET WAS DOWN BECAUSE OF A STORM THAT WENT THROUGH, I ASKED IF IT WAS GOING TO BE UP SOON AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON IT. JANICE CALLED ME BACK AND ASKED ME IF IT WAS UP. I SAID NO IT WASN'T AND A FEW MINUTES LATER SHE CALLED ME BACK AGAIN AND TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO REBOOT MY COMPUTER, I TOLD HER THAT WASNT THE PROBLEM, I TOLD HER THAT THEY NEEDED TO RESET THEIR ROUTERS. AFTER WAITING AN HOUR I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK AND ASK IF IT WAS GOING TO BE UP SOON, I WAS TOLD BY JOHN (ROOMS MANAGER) THAT THE REPAIRMAN WAS ON THE ROOF FIXING THE PROBLEM AS WE SPOKE, (COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY HE NEEDED TO BE ON THE ROOF) AND HE ASK IF I COULD DO MY WORK IN THE BUSINESS CENTER AND I TOLD HIM THAT IT COULD TAKE UP TO THREE HOURS AND HE SAID THAT WOULDN'T WORK. NEEDLESS TO SAY I DIDN'T GET MY WORK SENT OFF THE THE COMPANY I WORK FOR. AS I SAT IN MY ROOM I NOTICED IT WAS GETTING WARM, SO I TURN DOWN THE THERMOSTAT AND THE AC DIDN'T KICK ON, IT ALSO WAS BROKE, THEY MOVED ME TO ANOTHER ROOM. NEXT TIME I WILL DRIVE THE EXTRA FEW MILES FOR A ROOM. WON'T STAY THERE AGAIN.

The Radisson at Star Plaza is a decent choice, however, for the price, it could use some upgrades. The complex is very large with lots of meeting spaces and good amenities such as a fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, Starbucks, multiple bars, and a restaurant. The building is starting to show its age though, with low drop ceilings, older elevators, and outdated architecture. They have spruced some things up, like carpet and light fixtures. The rooms were a bit small, but adequate. Some rooms have an indoor balcony overlooking the atrium and indoor pool. Wi-Fi worked well, but the HVAC was very loud when it kicked on. I would consider staying here again, but probably wouldn't be my first choice until it gets a more substantial renovation.

I attended the Radisson hotel for the rose awards ceremony I was nominated for an award and won. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will miss having these kind of experiences there

This was a cool place. Great pools comfy bed, a sleep number, bars a movie theater. Really cool and would stay again for sure. Also front desk staff was super nice and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay here, everybody was nice and the rooms were clean and the room that I had was walking distance to everything inside the Radisson which included the little walk way from the Radisson Hotel to the Star Plaza Theater, which I thought was cool! I am glad the Star Plaza is staying open but I wish they would also keep the Radisson Hotel open as well! I have had some wonderful memories here and I am going to also miss swimming in the pool with the beautiful waterfall and having a few drinks in the Atrium as well! The only downfall that I had here was the price that I had to pay for my room, other than that, I sure am going to miss everything about the Radisson....Star Cafe, TJ. Maloney's, Starbucks, WiseCrackers Comedy Club, The Atrium above the pool and most of all the beautiful waterfall in the pool area! I highly doubt that the new hotel is going to have anything as beautiful as the waterfall in the lobby, oh well it just seems so sad to tear it down. :'(

Overall a good hotel; building was huge and labyrinthine, but facilities were nice and it was very pretty.

The Radisson at Star Plaza is a great place to stay. The staff is very polite and friendly and they are very helpful and accomodating. Both of my stays at the Radisson were a part of an overnight show experience, which included tickets to a show, dinner before, breakfast the next day, and a $10 gift card. Everything from the purchase of the package to checkout was quick and easy. Looking forward to my next stay!

Hotel was great, however a little noisy between 9 and 10 PM with kids running around. Not the fault of the hotel.

Stay here while attending a concert. The rooms are nice, clean and cozy. The pool is beautiful, parking lot is good and it's close to other stores. Would definitely come here again in future.

Service was excellent! Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed here for my daughter's sweet sixteen party and just loved it! It was great..would definitely recommend to anyone. We will be back. :) Thanks to all at the Radisson Hotel in Merrillville, IN!

Looks like the reviews are correct. This place has really gone down hill. The lady that checked me in was rude, whatever. Hair in the shower, whatever. A stain that only an adult would recognize on the comforter, unforgivable.

The Radisson is a nice clean hotel with good amenities. The pools are great during the summer. There's also a lot of great restaurants nearby.

$7 for garbage beer. Why not serve local craft beer? We certainly have a good selection in our area. Much better flavor and supports the NW Indiana economy. #fail

Was in the conference room for three iact convention. Food was great. Sound was great. But man...what happened to the hot tub? You guys had such a great pool...now not so much.

Customer service sucked made us wait for a long time then kicked us out earlier than our check out time. Key cards didn't even work, had to leave the door crakced. Just don't come here, it's not worth it.

They had a rat in the pool, my nine year old and six year old were swimming in there moments before. Never again! Horrible staff, offered a free breakfast. Tell that to my daughter that never wants to swim again.

If you are a business traveller, stay away from this place. It was the bomb back in the 80's when it was built but is a run down ghost town now. Room service food was horrible. Had a shirt "dry cleaned" which was not even pressed, literrally. Then they had the gaul to try and charge me $11 for a single shirt. My recommendation is to stay across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The staff was amazing very friendly and helpful and my room was clean and spacious, the amenities were awesome and although I found the pool to be very congested (there was a baseball team there which was out of their control ) it was very inviting otherwise. I would highly recommend anybody to stay here and next year when my conference comes up I'll be staying again.
