Attended a work-related professional development event here. Plenty of parking, easily found the assigned room despite several other events happening there at the same time. Excellent facilities and high quality meeting rooms. Service was also good, with only a few minor complaints that were addressed relatively quickly.

Wow this place has gone downhill. There are pubic hairs on my bed and the sheets do not look clean. Front desk people are not very bright and there are signs everyone pointing to a game room that doesn't exist. I will never stay here again
I loved the experience. I have stayed here once a year for the last 5 years and always enjoyed my stay. Amazing pool and atrium.
The merrillville locations celebrity west room is very nice.
The service there was implacable. We caught the manager at the front desk she escorted us straight to the room where our conference was.
Everything was delightful. Food was fabulous in the banquet hall.
A little confusing inside but really nice. The parking lot is terribly designed though and full of pot holes. Honestly from the parking lot alone i probably should have given this 3 stars.
Went for the dinner/theater package before a concert. Food was good, tables were way too close together, server was nice but clueless. Heard another guest ask another employee about items on the dessert table, employee responce..."I don't know what that one is, but the cookie bars are good." train your staff and the experience would have been much more enjoyable.
Sadly the Radisson will be razed at the end of the year. However, a brand new contemporary and modern hotel will be built in its place bringing a very nice, high end property to Merrillville.
Great hotel, although in need of a modern update. Staff is of high quality. The bar attached is a welcoming business. Parking is plentiful.
Location was easily accessible and signage to the meeting rooms was sufficient. Rooms were a good size for the meetings, and food service was of good quality. No complaints.

The room was very nice. We had a pool view. I had just gotten married to my beautiful new wife hours prior and we both enjoyed our accommodations. The Bed and Breakfast package is worth it!
I did not have a great stay at the Radisson Merrillville. I've always heard people talk about the Radisson so I went to check it out and I was not pleased at all. Ceiling leaking in hallway, spiders in the bed bathroom was dirty. The manager did move my room so I wouldn't be sleeping with spiders but I was moved to nasty room. I was very disappointed because people speak so highly about the hotel. No I dont reccomend this hotel to anyone with standards.
Excellent hotel with the largest theatre venue in NW Indiana. This location is being closed down on 12/30/2016. TJ Maloney's Bar & Grill, and the Starbucks Coffee on the Radisson site will also be demolished.
I truly hope they will include large meeting and event space in their plans to rebuild
Great Place, Great Staff, and Great Rates! If you have time check out the Star Cafe and ask for Christine. She is super sweet, friendly, fast, and is very helpful on the different events and prices going on there! I was there for a wedding and my stay was only 3 nights but next time I will check-in to there events.

Rooms where nice, the lack of microwave in the room was a slight inconvenience however.
I was staying there with my kids and went to go give them a bath. I thought better of it when I noticed rust and chips in the tub and ran my finger over it and felt it was sharp. I did not want my children to get hurt so I could not bathe them. I paid way to much for the garden rooms where I could hear people in the pool and the waterfalls in the center of the hotel all night. I will not be staying there again unless they do some MAJOR renovating first.
Big hotel with lots of things to do in. There is a beautiful pool in the lobby. The rooms are spacious and quiet.

I work RamenCon security. It's always been a pleasure working together with the Radisson staff. Very sad the place will be torn down next year.
The most disgusting place I've ever been. A Motel 6 has nicer accommodations considering I paid $200 to sleep in a room full of cobwebs, ants, dirt in the corners, filthy windows, the smell of marijuana coming from the rooms on the first floor, the kids running up and down the halls and the paper thin walls that were poorly constructed so I could hear everything including the people in the room next to me having sex. I found it appalling that there was NO hot tub, and the vent in my room had 2 inches of dark brown dust on it. I had informed the service desk of this matter and NOTHING was addressed, I was left with he worst accommodations I've ever experienced. YOU are better off sleeping in your car at a seedy truck stop than wasting your money on this dive.
The Radisson was a very nice place to stay. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly.

We came in to see about blocking out rooms and using a meeting room for an event in August. Staff didn't seem to eager to help.
Not what was expected. Stayed overnight for event on Sunday. Room 1062. We arrived at 4pm with a reservation and had to wait till 5:30 for our room. The pool water was cold and no big towels. All they had was the towels that are used as foot towels when getting out of the shower. The heat in our room would not work properly, it would work when it wanted. There was exposed wires and the wall socket was loose from the unit on the wall. That was a electric shock waiting to happen. The bathroom had spider webs and a dead spider on the floor. No extra toilet paper. The only good thing I can say is that all the staff were extremely pleasant. When calling the front desk, they did respond asasp. Not what I expected from the Raddison at all.

Attended conference. Facilities are a bit dated buy overall decent experience. It's a three star hotel, no doubt there, but if you have reasonable expectations you won't be disappointed.
