Radisson Blu, Waterfront Review

Lovely atmosphere, great tasting food and excellent service.

Radisson Blu is located within walking distance from the Waterfront. It offers stunning seafront suites, plus lots of other facilities incl. A large restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. A beautiful terrace to enjoy some wine of coffee while enjoying the lovely Ocean views.

Offering views of Robben Island, this upscale oceanfront hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, and 8.3 km from Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.

I attended an event by Robert Kiyosaki Education Legacy on Property Investment. I would say the hotel organised it very perfectly and that this hotel is in beautiful area in Waterfront.

Had a really top notch conference here with amazing sound, service, facilities, and all round excellence. The dinner too was fabulous. Will hope to be back again soon

Food tastes like hostel grub...uninspiring and one dimensional.
Fabulous venue but epic food failure.
I had the prawn and chicken curry.
First...there was no prawn, so I complained..then they added so many prawns the curry lost it's tang...somebody there doesn't know or doesn't care about food.

Perfectly located for the in the centre of the waterfront district, The Radisson has it all. Great view, variety of meals, service excellence and beautiful rooms. They even run a shuttle service every hour on the how to the Waterfront mall for shopping! Cant fault this hotel on anything significant.

Great location right on the water's edge. Incredible views of Robben Island and the Durbanville hills in the distance. Service from the staff pleasant and attentive at all times. The perfect place for a leisurely drink while watching the sun set or other activities on the ocean right in front of the main hotel. Rooms are well appointed with all amenities. Whether you dine inside the restaurant or alfresco outside underneath the stars you will have an enjoyable experience. The bar also serves platters and a selection of meals. Make sure to also visit the SKIN spa and wellness centre.

To have a sun downer this is the place to be. An amazing milkshake while sitting under a blanky next to the sea.

We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely hotel. It was close enough to downtown to make it easy to see the sites. Having handed back our hire car from our earlier cape touring, we used the excellent shuttle bus supplimented with taxis, to get around, both available from the front of the hotel. Our room was immaculate, as was the hotels decor, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We would certainly stay again at the Radisson Blue and it us an easy 5 star recommendation from me.

Absolutely delicious food, beautiful place on the ocean and very good service.

Absolutely not worth the money. Before I went there I already have read comments about unfriendly stuff and so one, but still went there. Biggest mistake! The staff, especially the receptionists are very unfriendly and there were many more things which I don't expect from and 5 star hotel. Besides this there are so many better hotels in Capetown you can get for this money.

Stunning hotel and stunning views, but the cocktail I had was disgusting.

Please note, I have never stayed here...but...ive been having drinks in the cocktail bar for over a decade...and for that it's simply superb!

They always have a smile on their faces, which is very contagious. If you love very good food, you should not miss this.So Christmas and New Year's Eve is highly recommended. Excellent next to the sea and excellent service with very reasonable prices

This hotel is really well situated at the water and the place has a nice feel and good energy. Breakfast is good and really all of the staff members attend to you with a genuine smile. It's perhaps somewhat on the expensive side but still decent value for money I would say.

Terrible experience at this Hotel. I advise you to use the safe that the room has, because I have disappeared around 100 EUR and the Hotel has not taken responsibility.

I had the privilege of spending a few nights at the Radisson Blu last week and it was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. From the amazing friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, to the super clean accommodation there is nothing to complain about. Great food whether it's breakfast, dinner or dessert. And then that totally spectacular location that just takes one's breath away...there are no words to describe how special you feel staying here. Class, elegance, sophistication all combine to create the best holiday experience ever. Thank you to all staff and a special thank you to Roger.

The rooms have a bit of an old feeling and are not super spacious. Checking in took a bit of time. However it has really good breakfast options with a stunning terrace by the water

My wife and I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the impeccable way you hosted and co-ordinated our wedding. A special thanks to Genevie Langner who was our wedding co-ordinator. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but with her being on top of things she took a huge off load our shoulders. The Radisson Blu - Granger Bay became a second home to my wife and I, and as time went on we joined the family. Everything was flawless since the on set, to the menu tasting, wedding rehearsal and finally the big day. Our wedding day was the best day our lives and the Radisson Blu - Granger Bay banqueting team played a huge part of the days success. Wedding guests were served with grace and excellence. There was no shortage of food and beverages, and guests were blown away by our wedding. There was a moment in the evening when the photographer wanted to capture a moment outside with champagne in our glasses, and just before the photo could be taken Fatima and the banqueting team member were outside and ready to top up our glasses for a picture perfect moment. A special thanks to Fatima and the banqueting team, you guys were phenomenal. We could not have had a better venue and day.
