Food is average, not at par with other Radisson blu properties that I have been to. Staff is unfriendly and very slow. And this applies to Reception, managerial, F&B & housekeeping staff. They have no clue about customer care, politeness in general and dealing with female guests at all. The only saving grace about it is the location & infrastructure.
An excellent get away location for our Family Get Together to celebrate our Grand Daughter's Birthday. A well managed, prompt service with humble staff, beach next door with suitable Shanties to have a change on the beach. Had a nice time !

Good resort to be in. Though direct access to the beach is not possible and is through the neighbouring resort Novotel .... this is a place where you can enjoy with family and beache. Stay here and enjoy public beaches in a car taxi of North Goa...

We had really an awful experience particularly with this Radisson Blu. We stayed there from 28th December to 2nd December. And here are our experiences:
1. The room that we were staying (525 ) was shabby .
The room cleaning were not done properly. We had to wait till the evening for the room cleaning. The cleaning guys never cleaned the balcony. Basic amenities were missing. They used to forget to refile shampoos, shower gels, tea bags and even water bottles almost everyday. The Dust bin was a broken one.
2. On the second night when I was back from the beach at around 7 p.m., I found the door of the room was widely open and I called the reception and the guy said, he'll check and call me back. But never bothered to call back. Luckly nothing was missing. Next day when I went to the reception and complained the same to the lady in the reception she checked and informed me that the maintenance guy left the door open by mistake and that evening maintenance manger came along with a guy and asked for apology
3. People have talked about widely spread property, But for all your information the best portion that you see and think part of Radisson Blu is part of Dona Sylvia. Actually there is no property boundary among these two, so people mistake that wide green and well maintain property as part of Radisson Blu. To reach the beach you have to walk through around 1km through the Dona Sylvia property.
4. The behavior of the night receptionist and the duty manager were pretty bad. On 29th December, there was a birthday party and it went till 12 O'clock with high volume loud speaker, without thinking about the comfort of other guests.
On 31st night, there was a new-year party and the volume of the speaker was higher than the previous one. I understand people partying till 1 o'clock during the new year. But after that also they were continuing with high volume. I called the reception to ask them to reduce the volume and the reception guy transferred the call to the duty manager and he said he will contact the event manager. Nothing happened . I called again at 1:30 a.m. and the guy said he can't help me and if I'm calling him for an upgrade he can arrange that at that odd hour and if I want to complain to the noise pollution control, I'm free to do so. I felt pretty insulted.
5. While checking out they gave us a bill of 28k of unknown expenditure. And after complaining they checked and confirmed that that 28k was a mistake.
Goada is one of the closest hotels to the beach. I admired the food and cleanliness. The crew was also extremely friendly.
Amazing resort. One of the best in South Goa. It gives the feel of olden day themes. The rooms were spectacular. A bit costly and totally worth it.
This is the place to unwind and relax in Goa.. Away from the loud and chaotic North Goa

The service is exceptional now.
Breakfasts could be presented and additionally European dishes, and not just Indian cuisine. And it would be nice to arrange sun beds with umbrellas on the beach line.
I'm here currently staying Radisson Blu, Cavelossim Beach, Goa with my wife (Room 503). The House keeping opened my room, even when I have locked it from within.... Wow What a wonderful service they have. Opening guests room when they are inside. And I had not even asked them to do so... And one more thing, last night the house keeping was so enthusiastic that they cleaned my room after 9.30 PM without even telling them to do so.. I'm sorry if they had to see some of my personal stuff kept on the table.. thanks for the experience. Now tonight I will be waiting by the door to make sure they don't open it mid-night when I'm sleeping...
In one simple sentence ..... great staff, very friendly and courteous, but the room was not upto the brand's reputation....the food in upper deck restaurant was awesome and i enjoyed every single dish. Special mention for chef Mahesh very passionate and professional....great menu.
The service staff too was just superb but the only disappointment was room....not great at all.
Liz and I have just got back from the Radisson in Goa and had a fantastic time. The staff could not have been more helpful. The house keeping staff were especially enthusiastic and kept our room clean and every day we were presented with a new towel sculpture. There are internal locks on the doors and an intruder chain - so if you don't want anyone in the room - you can ensure you are secure. So I am surprised at the review below.
The food in the main restaurant was good with reasonable choice. The other two restaurants were not that good in all honesty. That said the Fisherman's Wharf seafood restaurant a 5 min taxi ride down the road served up fantastic sea food at unbeatable prices. So don't go full board as there are so many great places to eat out.
The beach is a 5 minute walk and superb. Excellent for kicking off the shoes and walking a few miles in the sand with the warm ocean splashing at your heels.
Would definitely go here again. Lovely people and staff. Our Thompson rep Karen was also first class.

Best gems at South Goa. I don't feel any point moving more South below Cavalosseum in Goa. Radisson is a good 5 star property you can stay into. Adil & Mitesh at the front desk were very kind to provide us a good upgrade. Swimming pool is non functional due to Corona. Spread at Buffet is exceptionally good. Quality is guaranteed in everything. Would visit again. Private white sand pure beach that never ends is the key highlight.
Dom's shack is one good shack outside on the Cavalosseum beach. Kinara is a good restaurant outside hotel 400 mtr walk.
Situated in a very peaceful area. Nice environment as well as great food
Beautiful resort with its own entrance to the Cavelossim beach. We had the good fortune of also seeing bio-luminiscence here (phytoplankton). The beach is tranquil and less crowded. The resort itself is huge and good enough for evening walks. The resort shares its premises with Novotel but still manages to hold on its own. Food is a little expensive but worth the buck. Rooms do not have a great view but are luxurious and spacious.

Excellent hotel. They got brilliant accomodation having well appointed rooms. Their food outlets are very nice serve great and a very large spread buffet. Service is good, their staff is well trained and every guest is attended all are Very courteous and helpful. Groups are given special attention and their requirements are promptly made. Overall a great place, very nice and grand ambiance in the lobby makes fantastic first impression. Highly recommended. They have to however self the taxi union menace which is a great negative for the travellers. Apart from that in the hotel per-se there is no doubt all the lux 5 star amenities and facilities.

Stayed here for two weeks. Lovely hotel, well maintained gardens, The pool area was nice and relaxing.
The location of the hotel was in the centre were you had easy access to shops, and restaurants, which all served very good food. And the beach was in walking distance. Food in hotel was very good, breakfast there was lots to choose from the staff were very helpful and couldn t do enough for you. Special thanks to Veronus he greeted us each morning and introduced us to different India and Goan breakfasts. Also the waiters were very good and helpful.

Pool is nice but small and not deep either. Restaurants service is pathetic. It looks completely meshed on a busy weekend etc. You order for some thing , you remind the waiter few times, wait for 30 minutes and then too you get a wrong item prepared.
Toiletries will not be provided unless you ask them. Beach is at 1 km walking distance but you can ask for buggy. Have patience to wait for 15-20 minutes for buggy too.
Reception staff is good but restaurant staffs have to improve significantly.

Amazing hotel!! Totally lives up to its 5 star rating.The beach at the back of the hotel is totally fabulous and the sunset view is really superb.The wifi is a bit slow but that's okay since the natural beauty around the hotel totally compensates for it.
Nice hotel in south goa . Near to beach . 700 meters from beach . You will have to walk through adjacent property (Novotel) to reach the beach . Food is expensive here .
