We had really an awful experience particularly with this Radisson Blu. We stayed there from 28th December to 2nd December. And here are our experiences:
1. The room that we were staying (525 ) was shabby .
The room cleaning were not done properly. We had to wait till the evening for the room cleaning. The cleaning guys never cleaned the balcony. Basic amenities were missing. They used to forget to refile shampoos, shower gels, tea bags and even water bottles almost everyday. The Dust bin was a broken one.
2. On the second night when I was back from the beach at around 7 p.m., I found the door of the room was widely open and I called the reception and the guy said, he'll check and call me back. But never bothered to call back. Luckly nothing was missing. Next day when I went to the reception and complained the same to the lady in the reception she checked and informed me that the maintenance guy left the door open by mistake and that evening maintenance manger came along with a guy and asked for apology
3. People have talked about widely spread property, But for all your information the best portion that you see and think part of Radisson Blu is part of Dona Sylvia. Actually there is no property boundary among these two, so people mistake that wide green and well maintain property as part of Radisson Blu. To reach the beach you have to walk through around 1km through the Dona Sylvia property.
4. The behavior of the night receptionist and the duty manager were pretty bad. On 29th December, there was a birthday party and it went till 12 O'clock with high volume loud speaker, without thinking about the comfort of other guests.
On 31st night, there was a new-year party and the volume of the speaker was higher than the previous one. I understand people partying till 1 o'clock during the new year. But after that also they were continuing with high volume. I called the reception to ask them to reduce the volume and the reception guy transferred the call to the duty manager and he said he will contact the event manager. Nothing happened . I called again at 1:30 a.m. and the guy said he can't help me and if I'm calling him for an upgrade he can arrange that at that odd hour and if I want to complain to the noise pollution control, I'm free to do so. I felt pretty insulted.
5. While checking out they gave us a bill of 28k of unknown expenditure. And after complaining they checked and confirmed that that 28k was a mistake.
