The Rockettes show was great. I did not care for how "security" yelled at you to direct you. It was a very stressful environment. Lots of yelling. It felt like human cattle herding. I got to my seat and I was very stressed.

We had to go to New York at Christmas and witness the Christmas show that the truth is spectacular. It is definitely something you can not miss if you have the opportunity to go to New York on these dates and more if you bring children.

Iconic. Timeless. Historic. These are a few words that I use to describe Radio City Music Hall. Nothing but talent has graced these walls and nothing but shall moving forward. I've been to some of the most impressive events / concerts / etc here and there is just something about it. No, it's not luxurious, not it's uber cushy and comfortable, but what it is is the best vehicle of top notch curation. The space is typical of any concert hall, tall ceilings, regal bathrooms, etc. The seats could do with a little revamping as they can be a bit snug, but maybe i'm just tall. The cocktails are what you would expect, strong, amateurishly made, and a little pricey. But hey, you know what you signed up for! What you will take away is that this place will be forever cemented in your memories of where "it" all went down, where you "saw it", where you "experienced it", where you traveled to have your moment in the glory of "it". Great things happen here, make sure you experience it at least once.

We took a backstage tour. It was so cool to see the inner workings of this historic venue. We got to meet a rockette, see the costume room, the lounge areas for all these famous people, and learn the fascinating history of the building. Better than expected.

Fantastic concert venue, wonderful art deco ambiance and incredibly friendly staff. We saw the Rockettes Christmas Extravaganza and had a fantastic time. 2nd Mezzanine, block 2 gave a perfect view of the stage. During the show, they made great use of the curved roof by projecting high resolution images to make the whole roof part of the canvas of the stage. It was both mesmerising and breathtaking. If you get the chance to go, go! You won't be disappointed!

As a local, I never bothered going but went to see the Christmas Spectacular there and it was every bit of amazing as they make it seem. Went to the NFL draft here too and it was also so well organized and memorable!

Rockette Christmas Spectacular was a fantastic show. It exceeded expectations. Venue was convenient; arrive at least 45 minutes early to ensure you get to your seats on time. After the show, there are restrooms in the Rockefeller Center subway exit off the Grand Lounge if lines are long in Radio City Music Hall.

Definitely get the behind-the-scenes tour if possible. It was amazing being able to see the entire place front to back and understand the intricacy and detail of such a place, especially when it was built so long ago.

My family comes here every year to see the Rockettes and we make a whole day of it in New York City. The staff is always really nice and extremely helpful. My Dad lost his glasses before the show while buying some things and noticed when we got to our seats. The staff was amazing and helped us find them so he can see the show with no difficulties. And the show....AMAZING! They have a great show every year.

Such a wonderful experience! The statement, seeing is believing is the best way to describe this theater. I attended a graduation here and I was in awe of how magnificent this place was. I thought to myself, if I m in awe at a graduation how would I react if I attended a show here. This is a iconic NYC location that every tourists (and locals) should go and see.

We had to leave early but what we saw was interesting. I like the stories and facts about the place. I liked the old timey atmosphere and decor. The lady that gave the tour was very accommodating and understanding about my mother who was having trouble with her legs. She was kind and when she spoke she kept your attention....you could tell she enjoyed her job and wanted to share what she knew. She made it enjoyable. Thank you

A must see for tourists. Went to NYC for the Thanksgiving day parade. Figured we would see the Rockettes Holiday Spectacular show. TIP, there are discount tickets available, we picked up a coupon just 1/2 a block from the hall. Girls in usher uniforms from the hall pass them out in the afternoon. Took our coupon and got center orchestra seats for $80 A piece. Well worth it. Get there early as the line gets very long and you will want time to explore this gorgeous theatre before the show.

About Radio City Music Hall

Radio City Music Hall is a world-renowned entertainment venue located in the heart of New York City. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in the city and has been entertaining audiences for over 80 years. The venue is owned by Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp, which also owns other famous venues such as Madison Square Garden, Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, and Beacon Theatre.

The history of Radio City Music Hall dates back to the 1920s when John D. Rockefeller Jr. decided to build a new entertainment complex in Rockefeller Center. The complex was designed by architect Edward Durell Stone and interior designer Donald Deskey, who created an Art Deco masterpiece that would become one of the most recognizable buildings in New York City.

Radio City Music Hall officially opened on December 27th, 1932 with a lavish stage show featuring Ray Bolger (best known for his role as Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz") and Martha Graham (a legendary dancer and choreographer). Since then, Radio City has hosted countless concerts, shows, movies premieres, award ceremonies and other events that have become part of American pop culture.

One of the most famous events held at Radio City Music Hall is the annual Christmas Spectacular starring The Rockettes. This holiday tradition has been running since 1933 and features high-kicking dancers performing classic Christmas songs like "Jingle Bells" and "The Nutcracker". Other popular shows include Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana (which ran from June to September 2011), Dave Chappelle's residency (which took place in August 2017) or Harry Styles' Fine Line Live concert series (in October-November 2021).

In addition to live performances, Radio City Music Hall also hosts private events such as weddings or corporate gatherings. The venue offers several event spaces including the Grand Foyer (a stunning Art Deco space with marble floors), Roxy Suite (a luxurious lounge area) or even backstage tours where visitors can see what goes on behind-the-scenes during a show.

If you're planning on visiting New York City anytime soon or are looking for an unforgettable night out with friends or family members then be sure to check out what's happening at Radio City Music Hall! With its rich history, stunning architecture and world-class entertainment offerings it truly is one-of-a-kind experience that you won't want to miss!
