That said. Following COVID they have required shoppers to use hand sanitizer (which not everyone can use). I said I was just picking up and did not need to touch anything. They said no go . When I have asked for gloves I was met only with shock and rude awkward loud comments, they got the manager, instead of just giving me gloves. And here is where it got weird. The manager lied to my face, stating that they are required by the state to require shoppers to put on sanitizer.

This is a blatant lie. THE LIE, more than the requirement and the rude treatment was the shocking part of this. (I hardly expect a metaphysical shop to follow the science )

After being given gloves, one employee made a spectacle of my not using sanitizer to a group of customers just entering. Just bad form.

COVID is not spread via fomites, it s amazing seeing someone in this very store wearing a non regulation belly dancer style mask while slathering their hands. The sanitizer won t stop COVID, and neither will the silly mask. (I wear a regulation mask )

Wont be shopping here again, on principle. I work in customer service. I have dealt with actual no mask deniers, and I treated them with more humanity that was shown to me here.

But really tremendous product!
Tuesday (I hope I remembered their name correctly) has a positive attitude and is very nice.

Prices are MORE than reasonable for the amazing quality. The herbs, the stones, all of it.

Had treatment oriented from work today from Brookelle. I asked for specific types of technique hoping for some pretty specific results. I got skill, knowledge and more results than expected. Oh and she has the kind of deep connected touch that can make intense treatment techniques feel pretty good. My pain levels are waaaaay down tonight, range of motion is vastly improved as well as strength. High recommendations for this woman and who is on her way to becoming one of the masters.

I love this store. I get most of my candles, bulk herbs, and gemstones here. I was pretty sad today though when I got home with my purchases and found that the stone I got, a nice little piece of chrysocolla/malachite, had a sticker on it that pulled off pieces of the softer malachite.
Hopefully they can figure out a better way to price pieces like this so that they don t get damaged.

I've always loved this shop and have frequently visited and purchased items from here, from jewelry to books. However, I recently called into the shop to inquire about employment as it seems like it would be a pleasant work environment. The employee that answered the phone was extremely short and clearly not happy that I had called in. Of course I would prefer to make introductions face to face, but with the hazard of covid I thought it would be more considerate to check that they were hiring at all before I attempted to bring in a physical resume. I even tried to communicate this but the woman on the phone interrupted me to tell that should have brought a cover letter into the store, even though they aren't hiring. She then hung up in the middle of me telling her to have a nice day. Probably won't bring my business here anymore.
