Really fun lively place. Mostly a younger crowd here in 20-30's.
It has outdoor seating with approximately 15 picnic type tables.
They also have an indoor seating area. The place has an old industrial type of feeling mixed with a modern additions or art and music.
It also had a good sound system.

Exceeded my expectations of a biergarten. It has a very familiar and cozy old-timey feel with the low-lights, long tables, excessive use of wood, and the huge pints of beer. I really liked the Kolsch that they had on tap, I recommend it to anyone interested. Also, they have an excellent selection of Mead. I recommend getting a bottle and sharing it among friends.

Great open venue, plenty of large tables and space. The selection of beer was what you d expected from a German style beer garden, with a good selection of local craft beers and a full bar. I ll have to go back to try the food because it looked and smelled great.

Beautiful well kept and clean still Brooklyn version of latge German ale and meat house. Great service, great food. Pricy for some but you can enjoy yourself greatly with 4 people on a 70 bill with bear and brat/sausage/kielbasa and fry combos. Live music was fantastic quality. A must for a relaxed but upscale and rememberable Williamsberg experience.

The experience can vary depending on the day of week, but whether it's bustling or nearly empty, I always enjoy myself at Radegast. Although the beer selection seems to be smaller than it once was, everything on tap is of very high quality. But remember, it is a biergarten, so the fare is going to be mostly German imports instead of local brews. In terms of food, the schnitzel is mind blowing and there's a grill in the back that serves up sausages over fries and which takes cards.

Not recommended, they tried to cheat us by paying us back less money .. We had to claim it several times. If you are a foreigner, stay away from pubs like this one.

Went here on a Saturday night and me and my fiance had a great time. The music was flowing and the drinks pouring. Dj needed a little help with the music mixing but drinks are great. Dunkel beer is a must, one of my top 5. Bench like seating and food looked great but didn't get to eat. Next time I shall.

This is a really cool, German style beer hall. The place stinks of beer (since it's a brewery too) and on the weekends there is a live jazz band. Usually a good spot for a few beers and some laughs, come here if you are entertaining out-of-town guests or just looking for somewhere different!

Love coming here in the early afternoon for some day drinking. The beers are large and the snacks are delicious. My only complaint is that there are always a bunch of little kids running around and parents with strollers. Also they sometimes have live music which can get quite loud. Wow I sound like a crotchety old man.

Good beer and a good time, BUT it gets so incredibly hot in there. Also super loud and pretty expensive. But the place is big, has air conditioning in some of the areas, and is a pretty cool beer hall to hang out at with your friends.

Very fun beer hall with a good selection of beers and a sausage grill. Occasional live music sets. Dim environment. Gets pretty noisy so you end up talking a lot louder than you normally do. Probably will have a brief sore throat the next morning. I frequently get this place and Spritzenhaus mixed up.

Don't remember the drinks. But OMG the giant pretzels!! On a pub crawl night these things are a life preserver of flavor. And the do it yourself sauce/dip station, yes!

Communal-beer hall dining experience. Dim lighting, but not too crazy.

Good beer lineup. Setting was nice but super pack with college aged kids. Felt like a frat party. Would give it another shot if I was in town again but caused the visit to feel not like a beerhall.

It's a beer garden, not a night club with low quality live music...

I love beer gardens, not just because of my partial-German heritage, but I developed a taste for beer and I enjoy a variety of beer. I still come here from time to time, but I come here, I try to come mid-week or off-peak hours. I love the energy, noise and style that come with any beer garden. I find that there are other beer gardens, like ones in queens that are much more desirable. In my opinion, beer gardens are more social clubs, not night clubs.

PROS: Great variety of excellent bier!

CONS: It is usually a OVER-PRICED, it can be very CROWDED (especially on weekends) so you have to WAIT UP TO AN HOUR sometimes to find a seat if you come with more than two people. You wouldn't think it would take so long since you don't have to wait for a host, you just go ahead and seat yourself in the main beer hall. They have a good mustard selection but LIMITED FOOD selection (to be expected for most beer gardens). Local musicians are sometimes okay or 'meh' (of course, the bands all seem fun if you listen and drown it in beer).

Awesome place. My wife and I probably drank way too much beer upon our visit but the server was nice and prompt. The atmosphere was appropriate and much like a true Biergarten in Germany. Would visit again!

Had a great time at Radegast. Came here for lunch and a beer with family. When we got here the place was empty so we had our pick of seating. The waiter was very nice and considerate. He turned the music down when he noticed we had a newborn with us. (Even though we did not ask!)

Our group tried the Avocado toast and the Curry Bratwurst with sweet potato fries and a prrtzel. I would highly recommend all of the items.

Would def recommend stopping in with friends. There is plenty of large tables for big groups.

The food, drinks, setting and especially staff were all incredible. Attended a wedding here and every single waitstaff member exceeded expectations by a mile. As soon as I had finished a drink they were already handing me another, and they bussed the tables in an extremely timely manner. The bartenders were also quick and attentive, and overall the entire staff facilitated an amazing experience here. That's not even to say anything about the quality of the beer and food, both of which were phenomenal, but the staff itself really deserves the praise for how well the wedding reception was handled. Thank you all for an amazing time.
