Excellent range of facilities, and in a good location beside the City Botanic Gardens. Easily accessible via CityCat and the free city loop bus 40. Ample parking available. Very affordable prices in the cafeteria.

Impressive building set ups. Plenty of places to eat and there is also a gym (paid membership) in the campus. Quick access to Ferry and located conveniently close to the CBD. WIFI is reliable too!

Teaching of Nursing school of QUT is really bad. Their teaching attitude is tolerant and totally against what they claimed in the class. Definitely NOT recommended.

A beautiful 'sandstone' university located in the heart of Brisbane. Expansive learning complex with milultiple buildings dedicated to the Schools of Law. Great Law program with professional and helpful teaching staff.
2nd year civil- Great uni, offers everything it promises to. However some lecturers can be difficult to understand, primarily due to their thick accents.

Campus is laid out well and spacious it is positioned right next to the Botanical Gardens with state of the art facilities including a swimming pool, gym, museums and mini food court.
Great university, it is not to hard to get to, about the same as uq, great teaching. I appreciate that the campus is very compact and the buildings are easy to get around.
Good uni, would recommend. Some teaching staff and units can be a bit disappointing considering the cost, but maybe I just have high expectations for something which costs thousands of dollars. Facilities are excellent and well maintained.
Great campus, very clean, easy to get to, the facilities are terrific and the surrounds are great with the botanic gardens near by.

I have spent one of best time of my life at QUT gardens point campus. Best facility and Quality teaching makes it one of best university in world. I miss QUT.

Very big university! Lots of places to sit and study or chat with classmates. Easy to get lost in if you dont have a map on hand. Friendly staff always walking around and willing to help! Studied here for a year and it was great! Lots of help offered!

This "university for the real world" is making itself a good competition to UQ, though hardly. The staff are all well trained and qualified and the equipment are all certified, but the passing standards are just too low. Many-a-time students would pass a course and then still have no idea what's going on. Unfortunately this university does NOT push for excellence, despite meeting the conditions that allow for it. You often get people say "university is a waste because I haven't learnt anything" well yeah, it's cause they went to QUT
It's location at gardens point serves more as a central Brisbane attraction much like the Ferris wheel, though on a good note, it's acceptance policies do well to increase the overall educational/technological level of the city and the state.
edit: I came down to do business and management at QUT, but got sick of the policies that passes as much people as possible so transferred away.

I love the QUT campus. I studied there and used their swimming pool. Loved it since it s indoors and not freezing in winter. It s also 50m which is great. You just need to check with reception what time the squad training is on as there are less lanes open to the public. QUT building is modern and everything from bar to convenience stores to cafes are available. It s also easy to go out and relax on the green grass, there s plenty of space. The old gouvernement house has nice cafes hidden there and at times has exhibitions. Lovely place to study, keep active and be social.

Cool looking uni, was at a function in the cube building and was pretty impressed by it all.
The environment is nice. But the course structure for master of IT is just a mess. To those who want to study IT here, do not choose QUT. It is changed without any notice even though we have studied here for one year. You can change but you can not affect the student who are not new.

Incredible place! Not just a university but probably also a tourist spot. So garden like with infusion of lots of technology. Brisbane is an incredible city as is whole of Australia. Extremely beautiful with a perfect balance of all elements for human living. More than anything one will find incredible people in entire Australia. Awesome!
