Absolute scam, stay away! I've been covered by tens of call-center calls at any time of day and night, from companies that can't even do the job!
Answer to below: I've been in contact with Chris since yesterday, he has the list of all the numbers calling me so far. You keep repeating you closed my request but new companies keep calling me (10 already today) saying that they received my contacts from you - so your data privacy management is clearly not working. You have my email, feel free to confirm when you erased my data in your systems and all the companies you work with - This is an illegal management of data privacy for your customers.

I raised my request on a Saturday for some urgent work that needed to be completed that same week. I did not expect to get a response until Monday but had several firms contact me and had agreed a supplier and for the work to be completed on the Tuesday of that week. Some follow up work was required which happened on Thursday. The speed at which I was able to find a supplier using Quotatis enable both the initial visit and the remedial work to be carried out within the week as requested.

I wanted a specific service that requires specialist equipment- the
de-scaling of a heat ex changer that I had already removed from my multi point water heater. I didn't want to pay for anything else as I knew perfectly well that was wrong with the heater.Other local companies that I spoke to wanted to me to buy other services that I didn't need such as re-assembling.

Since moving to Lincolnshire form Staffofdshire we have had real problems finding reliable compitent tradesmen. There seems to be a lot of people who call themselves tradesmen who have neither seved an apprenticeship or achieved a qualification of compitence in there chosen trade. By using Quotatis these so called tradesman were filtered out of the system by Quotatis so that you are only dealing with time seved professional tradesmen who can deliver a first class job at competitive price. They put me on to Advanced U.K who gave me a very good quote which I accepted. Advanced U.K carried out the work in a very professional way and I would definitely recommend them very highly. I was told the work would be carried out in one day and that was spot on with time to spare. The workers were just brilliant.

Avoid choosing any tradesmen from this company. I used SRG contract to fix a gutter leak. It was still leaking after they left. Contacted them and have heard nothing back from them. I doubt quotatis vets the tradesmen / cowboys. I was told by one of their staff we work like yellow pages, so instead of using quotatis I would recommend the yellow pages. Anything but quotatis.

What a nightmare this site is,put details for a quote, ended up being pestered by loads of calls,,the one i chose tried to pressure me in to having work done, would never do this again.

RUN IF YOU HAVE SERIOUS OR STRUCTURAL WORK!
Requested a quote for a single storey front and rear extension.
After the 4th builder came to view, I have given up.
First builder - offered to do the job, came with a six bullet point quote and wanted cash in hand upfront.
Second builder - was a complete cowboy, he was the the best spoken. He didn't want to sign contract of works, was delaying in providing references, his company was not registered on company house, no online presence whatsoever. When he came round to view to property, I am a complete novice and sourced him out as a fraud within 10 mins.

4th builder - I am still waiting to confirm he works for company he claims he works for and it's been 3 days and no acknowledgement of drawing and specifications sent to him via email.

I give up on this company and their fraudulent contractors.

I am very thorough and will do my due diligence before I agree to any of these people ripping my house apart.

Quotatis is probaly the worst company I have ever come across. They called me continuously for 2 weeks almost harassing me to get a quote for my driveway. I eventually agreed and someone called me back a few days later where we agreed a time and day for them to provide a quote. I took time off work for this and they never turned up. I made a complaint via email to quotatis and recieved a message back advising they didn't come because it was raining and furthermore lied about trying to contact me via phone. The service and then the complaint handling procedures are the most unprofessional I have ever experienced. Avoid them at all costs.

Useless! I asked for quoates for plumbing, electrical works and general building work. Got the usual emails telling me to expect calls from traders soon. Never got it. We tried the usual method of asking people who they would recommend but no one had any experience. We tried a couple that advertised but one never bothered to answer my phone message and the other had too many personal life issues. We always try to use local tradesmen rather than go the national big boys. Quotatis helped in finding a local tradesman.

I find it hard to find tradespeople when I need them who will respond to the timescale that I have available in a very busy schedule. Quotatis has enabled me to do this and I would certainly use it again now that I have discovered it. It is the kind of service I have needed for a long time and have been frustrated when struggling to get essential jobs done on the house. Excellent.

I used Quotatis when I started my business. The leads are supposed to be vetted and qualified, yet they are supplied when their offices are closed, so how can they be qualified? The leads are supposed to be sent to no more than 4 other companies yet I had many customers complaining that they had been contacted by loads of companies and were totally sick of the phone calls! Some even saying they had un plugged the land line. They make rejection of leads very difficult no matter what the reason, even wrong number.

There are far better companies about that do qualify the leads before you get charged for them, my opinion will cost you a fortune AVOID!!

The speed with which we were contacted from my first request was literally minutes. You only gave us one contact so had no comparisons. However meeting them and talking the project through it met our expectations and we had no qualms going with his company and will definitely use them again. So thank you for introducing us to a firm we would not have found without you.

My advice to anyone thinking of using this company or Quotatis - think again!!!!

Cant really speak for the Quotatis service except to say that I asked for quotes, quick contact from two traders, one of whom I used who was fantastic. (Tony, gardening and fencing services in Watford area).

They have totally disappointed me. I have been waiting for their tree surgeon for the last five hours and no sign of him yet. He said he would arrive around midday then 2pm then 3pm and now doesn't pick up the phone. Useless!

Been with them for so long spending so much money and they never give back a good service. They never check their clients just with sms i think or a email confirmation.
Many clients are the other local companies or someone who want to to just know a price .
I told to these Quotatis team that i am not happy about their services and guess what??? Every time i call them they don t care about you just want your money.

Utterly useless. I was after a new combi boiler and they didn't get a single quote. Total waste of time. In contrast, I searched locally and a great gas expert came round at 9pm at night. Can't beat service rather than bull.

Received contact from one company which in itself have only 4 customer reviews showing for the last 4 years !.

I couldn't get hold of a roofer through my own contacts in the wake of damage caused by Storm Doris. This platform enabled contractors to approach me and I wouldn't have found them had I not taken a chance in utilizing this site. I was really pleased as the problem rectified with the sense of urgency I had hoped for. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

you recomended a local firm REID ROOFING AND BUILDING to fix my gutters, they have destroyed my roof how can you recomend a firm in Dysart, when you are based in Norwich, they do nothing promised and just leave a mess, how any tradesman can do such poor work, time served yes but doing what gardening.

Contractors recommended by these guys are awful, Quotatis don't really care. Contractor threatened me and my wife, and claimed his work has no guarantees. Left me of out pocket, definitely avoid. Quotatis response is quite useless, their website doesn't take reviews or complaints. Using a anyone from here is like using a random that knocks on your door, once you've parted with your money good luck getting hold of anyone.

It appears they do very little to bet their contractors and even when extreme problems arise, which they did in my case, where I had to begin going down the legal route, they still continue to have that company up on their web site and do nothing about it. Very simple, unfortunately I would never trust a contractor procured through them again

Spamming company. Somehow they managed to get hold of my contact details and gave them away to contractors for unsolicited quotes.

First time I tried quotatis we had a bad experience with beech contractors who did a very bad job to my patio wish I could send pictures to your company of the work they did and I know have to pay another firm to rectify his work which is completely shambolic BEECH contractors should not be able to trade and use your name to get work....

Knowing I had a job which needed doing rather urgently and having no knowledge of any roofers in my area this service was invaluable. They pointed out that I had a much more serious job which needed doing but which was explained to me and I fully understood what was being said. I see them as a very professional and reliable firm f workmen.
