Do NOT select this insurance under ANY circumstances. I was a "customer" for 2 years. They were charging me over 200 a month (I have a near perfect driving record), and then when I was the victim of a horrible hit and run accident that wrecked my bumper, they refused to pay for damages despite a police report and witnesses. I ended up having to sell my car for barely any money because the insurance reps had no solutions to offer, only more justification for trying to charge me $1000 for a hit and run. They suggested I should have endangered myself by staying in the intersection and snapping the offender's plates. I am a physician who is now carless in Boston thanks to Quincy Mutual Insurance. I am disgusted, enraged, and suggest you find insurance coverage with literally anyone else. This place is a scam through and through.

It was a positive experience. They responded promptly. They dealt with the body shop promptly and professionally. I was notified every step of the way. All in all, a very positive experience. I highly recommend Quincy Mutual

Dear Quincy Mutual Group, I've received a fraud-looking letter from you, and wrote you few messages in fb. Why do you need an fb page if you're not responding there? I am not your customer but I received a claim about a car accident from your client, the claim happened month ago and you didn't provide any details about the claim but wanted my data. Please explain why you're sending mail with mistakes in First Name AND Second Name, not providing any details about accident, thank you.
P.S. My story got an update: they replied 3 days later, still we've got no details about accident, our insurance already took the case and asked them to provide details about accident. Waiting.

Adjuster assigned at first didn't even want to try to listen, and constantly was interrupting when trying to explain the case. I've worked with clients in IT and retail for over 10 years and was astounded by the lack of empathy or customer focus there was. On top of that, they basically said that there was no way their client did this, and they would "check with him" before even taking a statement. Finally a week later they confirmed what I stated via call and apologized to me. After review of the appraisal, they only write me a check for only the cosmetic damages (which were minor) even though I specifically called to note their insured damaged numerous sensors that are linked to my cruise control (now every 20-30 miles CC is automatically disabled due to the faulty/damaged radar sensor). We'll see where this leads!

I ve had car insurance with these guys for a few years. I think they re awesome. I did a lot of comparing before purchasing car insurance with Quincy Mutual and saved a good chunk of money. I definitely recommend them. Plus they re a local company and when you call, you speak directly with an agent. I called recently because someone hit my car and was on hold for 30 minutes!! 30 minutes!! Called Quincy Mutual and wasn t asked to hold at all.

Quincy Mutual Insurance Company has been a pleasure to deal with when my car was damaged by one of their insureds. They contacted me immediately, had an estimator come out and assess the damage and sent me the paperwork. Everyone was kind, considerate and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good insurance company.

Rude customer service and were bitter about not wanting them to transfer our policy. They didn t like the way the outside of our house looked when coming to take pictures for insurance (even though it is completely safe, structurally sound, and only needs window replacement, which have been ordered, some shingle replacement, & exterior cleaning/painting- only bought 1 month ago and have been working on interior since) and had the audacity to question why we had a dumpster in our front yard (from cleaning the inside of the house and replacing the carpets, trim, etc.) so they cancelled our policy, labeling it a risk home. Inside of the house is basically brand new. Unbelievable. Would not recommend for homeowners insurance at all. Will probably switch my auto insurance, as well. I never leave bad reviews for places but this really bothered me.
