Home Penna Dutch cooking & a to die for chocolate cake with peanut butter icings.

A little jem for breakfast and dinner. I have to try their burgers.

The food is awesome their scrapple is one of the best I've had and even better with the syrup. The prices are always terrific.

I worry about the cleanliness in BOH and how often they sanitize hands. I won't eat the dinner rolls because I question whether hands were washed before being putting the rolls in the basket. Usually I end up having to wipe down my own utensils because they're dried water stains on it or maybe even food residue in which I will ask for a fresh set of utensils. Food always is hot and tasty. Staff are friendly. Definitely PA Dutch so don't expect to get something fancy or out of the ordinary.

What a diner should be. If you love thanksgiving, they freshly roast turkeys daily...it can be thanksgiving any day of the year

This place is actually great for what it is. It is simple dining with really good comfort foods. The wait staff are friendly and will joke around with you if you are in the mood.

Good diner food. Friendly staff. Large parking lot. Eggs Benedict was very good.

Fast, friendly, homemade deliciously affordable meals. If Mom can't make it anymore they can! Comfort food at its best!!!

Standard diner fare. Wasn't thrilled that my omelette was canned spinach and canned mushrooms. I can do much better myself.

At the time we where there they only had 1 bathroom the lady s bathroom was out of order and out of some food, they place is ok but needs a up date

Wonderful place to eat, 1st time there and will go back there again, good food and plenty of it at a reasonable price.

Dont enjoy giving bad reviews but service was just horrible. Sat at bar and waited close to 5 min just to be approached by one of the 4or5 what seemed available waitresses. Kids popping in and out of kitchen literally bumping into each other doing nothing. Long story short food was good service SUCKED!! Honestly i think the owner a little to nice sorry to say. Crack the dam whip, you got eyes!! Place has good food

The turkey lite plate was good. Stick to what they are best at.

The food is very good and a big swerving. The decor is dated, service isgreat.

This place is your typical "go to" place when you can't decide, food is good, staff nice just nothing spectacular, which OK for us. Soups are good, wife ALWAYS goes salad with bacon dressing, just a nice place.

Waitress not attentive McKayla . I think I was supposed to have sides with my chicken and rice. Because it was so small. And the sweet tea served wasvrancid.

lady at the front counter behind the bar was very rude and not too friendly. seemed annoyed that we were there and asking where to sit. other than that, our waiter was wonderful and so is the food.

I've ate here about 10 times. I've had good fried chicken at this place and usually always order it, but it's hit or miss if you get it served good. I've been to the Quentin Haus in the past with my Grandma and we both ordered fried chicken, and they gave us old cold chicken that tasted like it was microwaved. We both sent it back. Now today I was there and they had fried chicken as a special so I ordered it. They got me again the chicken looked soggy and wet to the touch hardly any breading and the waitress said that's how it always looks. I know from eating there prior that the chicken doesn't look as sorry as that all the time. I disappointedly sent it back for a cheeseburger. They have a picture of what the fried chicken is supposed to look like on the back of menu which looks like KFC but you only get it that way 50% of the time if you're lucky.

Well,I'd like to thank Lisa,our waitress/server @ Quentin Haus ,for making our breakfast a total delight We were about an hour&1/2 from home & starving !We decided to pull in and eat.We were so MORE THAN SATIS-FIED,my friends!The early morning specials were great- priced,and the "eggs benedict" & "meat-lovers egg platter were perfect.My man RAVED about the way the bacon was cooked ,so I tried it...Wow,watever the cook did to the bacon made it taste EXQUISITE...plus,LISA WAS SO NICE AND PLEASANT,checked us frequently,carried herself with charm and was a pleasure to meet.!I got in my worktruck afterward,and as we were pulling out,I got the urge to RUN back in there,again.....to get her name and thank her again !That's NOT something I do....EVER,really !I didn't even stop to think about it,which is weird...anyway,thanks Lisa,it was a WINNER for us & I WILL be going back,even if I'm NOT in the area.I would drive out there again just to re-experience an awsum time ! oh...the coffe was great!You will leave woth a smile & a positive feeling for the day,too,I'll just betya or breakfast is on LISA...haha...just kidding !

Love this place gonna miss eating here till I visit

1st time there. Took my mom to lunch. Very good resturant. Fast service. Food was quick hot and delicious. The waitress was so nice. Friendly and on top of everything. Defently coming back.

It's a time capsule of small town diners from yesteryear. Their fresh pies vary daily and are very good

The breakfast is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Gave it 3 stars because other than breakfast there food doesn't taste as good. The chicken has a rubbery texture to it and the fries are dry and don't have flavor.

We where looking for a bit to eat and drove past this place since it sounded like a German style restaurant. I order the side salad with bacon dressing and it was the worst thing I ever ate, the salad had two cups of this goop on it that I described to my wife as melted hard boiled eggs mixed with bacon fat and pieces of bacon it gave me diarrhea after only eating 3 bites of it. The main entree was half a Johnsonville sausage with canned beef gravy and Stove Top instant stuffing I ate half of it because I was hungry but I was expecting a German made sausage and got this crap my 10 year old son could have prepared. O and I just recently found out my wife has diarrhea at the same time from eating at this gross place she had the corned beef and fries. The only thing ok was the coffee but who can screw up coffee! Please do yourself and your gut a favor and skip this restaurant on your way threw Quentin PA! I would rate this at no stars, I usually don't rate restaurants I just didn't want someone to make the same mistake we did. I need to go to the bathroom again may have food poisoning....

They are an amazing restaurant! We walked in at 10 till 8pm and they had no problems serving us!!! Everyone was so nice and our sandwiches were delicious!!!

Always a great experience. Friendly staff and quick service. Even when you have a large party.

The staff at the Quentin Haus were very patient and accomodating with our large group (30-40 people). We did not have to wait long to get our food, it took about 15-20 minutes tops. And the food itself was excellent, cooked until tender, still quite warm when we got it. I highly recommend booking the Quentin Haus for Thanksgiving next year!

Great good at low price, I think my Grandma was in the kitchen.

We have gone for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Quentin Haus at different hours and they're always fresh and clean. They have GREAT food!

Good food and good people five stars on the servers.

There policy is too seat yourself, did that right next to the counter. Then waited 20 minutes no menus, nothing. Then someone else came in. Waitress said hi Dennis what do you want to drink????? Guess you have to be special to be waited on. Yep we left!!!

Good service, but TERRIBLE food. I accidentally ate here when misunderstanding the hotel staffs' recommendation of "Quentin Tavern." I ordered the meatloaf sandwich. The gravy had the consistency of pudding and tasted like someone mixed Worcestershire sauce and flour. I should have left after the first bite to eat elsewhere. -Edit- A year later, someone (I can only assume it's staff or family) tracked me down on Facebook to hassle me about this review.

Excellent freindly and quick service my portion was a little small but I did get a special. The restroom was very clean and the food was delicious. I would definitely return.

Food is always delicious, service is great, and we'll be back again for sure. Oh, and this has been a great place for years.
