I just want to say thank you to the three females that took care of me in the gyno department 30.4.21 at around 11.00am. I was very uncomfortable very stressed and they were all very supportive and very caring and nice to me. I can't remember the ladies names but I just want to say a big thank you.
For a public hospital these guys do an amazing job. Generally 1 x nurse to 4 patients. Doctors are down to earth, friendly and approachable. Went into emergency expecting to be there a few hours, ended up staying 2 and a half days. Thanks for the care guys (and girls of course). Love your work...
The emergency staff were lovely and did their best to help me, but that s about all I can say that is of a positive nature. I was put in a bed and then moved back out to the transition waiting room and left in there alone all night with a man who openly admitted to staff to being a heroin user and being there to score pain medication. No one checked on me for hours and I had to keep myself awake so as to be aware of what this person was doing and protect my own safety. I was later moved into the mental health ward but never admitted and left to cry alone in a room for six hours, to then be told by a nurse (I never got to see a doctor) there was nothing they could do for me. Absolutely terrifying and atrocious experience for someone attending the hospital seeking help for a mental illness. All I can say is, please try anywhere else before you seek mental health assistance from this hospital. It will make your situation worse. Once I am healthy enough to do something about it, I ll be advocating for change here. I m sure the staff do the best with what they have, but it s not good enough.
I recently underwent surgery on a Cerebral Aneurysm at RBWH. A big Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Administration whom took care of me during this stressful period. You did a great job keeping me calm and comfortable, before, during and after the procedure. First class care, thank you again.
Our son was admitted here after a motorbike accident. The care that he received from doctors and all the staff was outstanding. Very caring,helpful and friendly. Thank you very much.
Coming from someone who usually attends private hospitals, I was really impressed with the level of care provided by the doctors and nurses in the emergency department after I was in a car accident. Thank you for the compassionate approach.
Firstly, thank you to Dr Isaac and Dr John for being such a great Doctors. Secondly thank you to some great nursing staff who looked after me and cared for me really well. Despite the circumstances of being diagnosed incorrectly the first time I was there. I really appreciate all that has been done while I was there.
Emergency department really great. Staff well organized & professional. All are friendly & do a wonderful job, considering some of the people they have to put up with. Very quick to check you out with blood tests & scans if they think you need them.
A good hospital my dad was here one time and they treated him good.

from the Queen Street Mall in Brisbane city CBD in 2000 as part of the mall renewal. Bathers was relocated/moved to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in the Mothers section.

I was nervous to go into surgery but I placed my trust and life in their hands and am extremely happy with the end result. I am grateful to be offered this in the public system & very grateful to all of the AMAZING TEAM & to all of the staff.
