A good in-between of cosy and spacious. You certainly don't feel like you're getting squashed in! The food and drink was all great too and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely decor, burgers, and sandwiches. The perfect place for lunch and pints after a round at the Putt in the park.
Update: The manager is extremely unfriendly - and we have owned the property next door for more years than she has been there! Large pub with plenty of seating except on quiz nights. A great alfresco area out the back. Comfortable with a good range of food. If there was one other gripe apart from the unfriendly and unhelpful staff, that is they ought to change the menu a little more frequently.
Lovely setting ... very disappointing expensive food
Everyone was clearly having a nice time despite it feeling like the end of the world. Attentive table service, friendly attitude and comfortable yet socially distanced surroundings. The beer was good too.
Horribly poor quality and overpriced bangers and mash.
Rather disappointed with the food service, was advised to wait 20 mins prior to ordering a roast dinner, then 30 mins had passed and we were told o order our meals, with Yorkshire puddings to follow. The Meals arrived and i must say for More
Gorgeous cosy pub and the Sunday quiz is super fun!
Lovely newly refurbished dining area! Great food as well!
Very nice surroundings, nice selection on the lunchtime menu. Great pub .
Great pub, nice decor. Food is slightly expensive though.
Brilliant local pub in Putney. Really great to see the staff so cheerful and warming. Food was great as well. Def recommend whilst we can all still go out
Gorgeous! Its like a tardis though - so much more to see when you step inside. There are so many gorgeous areas - especially like the heated beer garden areas!!
Spent a couple of hours in this pub last night.. Super cozy and very comfortable... especially the fires they had going inside. The chicken roast was very disappointing (dry and plain) - although this may have been an issue as it was 8PM and they had been on cookers all day.. I'll be back for some more chilled drinks and will avoid the food next time.
Nice local pub with good food and atmosphere but slow service.
This is my favourite pub in Wandsworth. Friendly staff, great outdoor seating, good selection of food and drinks.
Fantastic roast dinner and great atmosphere. The yorkies were something else. Hands down the best pub in Wandsworth.
Well organised and comfortable in line with social distancing measures. Food and service great, and the ambience in the garden on a summer's evening is sublime.
only one ale a available. Drinks overpriced. Disappointing
Good pub. Open fire. Great chips. Expensive but no different to the majority of other gastro pubs in London. They have board games available if you fancy it. I have been to the pub quiz here too before and it was decent (can t remember which day of the week it was). In the summer I would recommend coming to enjoy the beer garden (very floral, maximum effort) and a burger from the outdoor burger shack-it s delicious.
All round a great pub. Standard but delicious pub food with a good selection of both food and drinks. A really good and challenging pub quiz on a Wednesday night that is popular so worth booking a table for. Worth noting it's a dog friendly pub, with water bowls and dog snacks available.
Good service and a good selection of beers, dog friendly as well.
Great atmosphere great food and nice wice selection..
Sunday roast good but way too small two tiny potato and very small amount of vegetables. Very disappointed
I like the garden in this pub. It's great. But if you're coming here to eat maybe think again. Took 60 minutes plus for food to arrive, kinda cold, my wife's asparagus and pea risotto had no asparagus in it... Wasn't the best. If you're just coming for drinks though you're sorted, it's got a nice interior and nice beer garden....
Update. 2018... Waited over 15mins at bar to get a drink. Loads of staff no one serving.
Soft and cozy place, so well decorated and a very diverse menu of drinks/food to chose from. Service was excellent and all the staff was extremely nice! Must admit that the chorizo jam its probably my new favourite thing in the world!
Absolutely brilliant roast. Probably the best I've had in a pub! Don't want to recommended too strongly as people will find out about it!
Delicious pub, great atmosphere and a winning culture. Not out!
What a fantastic Church Cris, the Pastor and his team lead a great church God is in The house

Xmas eve lunch break. We booked a table for 8 and was well looked after. Food came in good time too. Everything was good.
A warm and cosy little venue, pup friendly, serving decent drinks and great grub with a smile. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and the meal was tasty without being overboard. Steaks were a little pricy for what was served but enough to keep you contented at the end of a meal. Thanks for a solid outing!
Very good Young's pub. Although menu is slightly expensive, it definitely worth it. Great ambience, good drinks, delicious food. What could I ask for more from a pub?
Great local, very comfortable with large beer garden and fantastic selection of beers. Food is decent too.
We love food and service and cosiness of the pub. One minor thing is - there is not a big choice of veggie dishes.
Very dog friendly, good food and service and perfect balance of atmosphere but not too busy
Great setting and a really nice garden. Best during the week
Lovely atmosphere and furnishings. Good choice of beers. Food expensive, basic but not. Worth a visit.
Friendly staff who remembered my face from last time. The app works well to order drinks to your table and we asked to move inside as it got cooler and all was good. Nice pub, good food, good people, recommend
A pub that s open early during the weekends! Had such a great breakfast here and the service was fantastic. Staff are attentive (shoutout to Billy) and we loved how the pub looks, especially the outdoor seating area. It was also really, really clean and that made us feel safe eating out despite these uncertain times. Thank you to the wonderful crew for the lovely experience!
Lovely garden with shaded areas if required. I had a burger with fries which was delicious. Staff were friendly. Great experience.
Amazing atmosphere! Walking distance from the park and I fell inlove with the garden
Awesome pub great ambuience great burgers best I have tasted for a long time
We always enjoy our visits to Queen Adelaide. We haven't been since Covid 19 started and it's great to see how they have adapted to the situation without compromising on the food and service.
Orders are now done via an app which you can install on the spot, including payment. Everything is then served at your socially distanced table by the usual friendly and attentive staff.
Great place, as always.
Really nice range of options, had my eye on quite a few things but ended up with the sausages and mash. Very tasty and definitely would order again. The pub itself has a nice feel to it.
Best pub in Putney. Great food, beer and atmosphere
The Q.A has been our local, on and off, for at least the last 20 years but almost a weekly fixture for the last 10!! We've always loved the child friendly attitude and even had our daughters 2nd birthday party there!! We have loved the fact that we can go in with the kids on a Saturday late afternoon/evening when it's quiet to give them their tea while we have a few drinks and still feel like we've had an evening out.
Tonight all that changed and our 'local' went seriously down hill. The bar manager, who we knew personally and a lot of the team have changed recently. Karim & Nick you are sorely missed!!!
My wife, 5 year old daughter and I went to the pub for a few drinks this evening. Ironically we didn't take our usual table in the restaurant as we weren't eating on this occasion.
We had a drink in the garden but as it got a bit chilly, we decided to go indoors. The pub was uncharacteristically empty so we sat in the area between bar and restaurant.
At around 8.15 we decided to have a third and final drink and I went to the bar. Whilst I was at the bar, my daughter, who had been sitting colouring and playing with her toys at the table got up to show me a picture she had drawn. I would be the first to complain about kids running around but she had literally not moved from her seat until then!!
Within minutes of this, the bar manager, Andrew, approached my wife asking us to leave as children weren't allowed in the pub after 8pm - we wholly understood this and it was not an issue.
Would it really have been a major issue to ask us to move to the restaurant to finish our drinks and then leave?
Having always been very loyal and regular customers, we still knew a few of the staff. The two restaurant/bar staff, Matha & Eva seemed shocked at the way we had been treated and came over to apologise, begging us to go to the restaurant with them and finish our drinks without ordering food.
Andrew however, had already got us a refund for the drinks and didn't renege on allowing us to finish the drinks without ordering food. Business must be pretty good that you can actually refund the price of drinks and throw your stock down the drain!!
In addition to this, he was making his distaste very clear to all his staff which didn't exactly make us want to stay!!
We feel very saddened that despite being regulars to the QA, Andrew was incredibly inflexible and didn't make any allowances for the circumstances.
A local pub surely should appreciate it's locals and we have always spoken so highly of the QA to everyone I know.
We have spent the last 5/6 New Years Eve's in this pub and had several parties, celebrations and birthdays in this establishment.
A sad end to what has been our much loved local and most favoured Saturday evening hang out for many, many years. I am sure you can appreciate our disappointment.
In times of dwindling pub trade and closures, you would really think pubs would try and hang on to their locals!!
Decent gastro pub with large dining area and beer garden.
Very child friendly, lots of space, excellent food. The only downside was the slow bar service, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it
Great food and cosy atmosphere with quite a few fireplaces. Menu can be confusing so ask for help. Service sometimes at the table and sometimes at the bar which can also be confusing.
Our favorite local pub. Great food and atmosphere. On top of that it's dog friendly. The burger shack during the summer is great.
really nice quiet pub that has a great atmosphere with friendly staff and good service
Nice place with a peaceful garden, friendly staff, a lot of options for food through out the day.
Went on a busy weekend afternoon evening. Food was mediocre, and service was useless. Huge queues at the bar, and when finally served no glasses as no one was washing them. Watched one staff member running glasses under a tap without any soap and give it to a customer in front, and others taking hot glasses and serving straight into them. For the price being charged that s not good! Overheard the kitchen was closed due to being busy and unable to take orders, so one group across from me ordered Deliveroo telling the staff that they d made a reservation and then couldn t order food, so should be grateful they re even staying to drink. A very interesting business model for a pub!
Classic Youngs pub. Good range of beer, good food and nice garden. Space for families in the restaurant area and plenty of seating in the pub area.
Gorge pub
Really bad service
Great setting
This a local friendly pub but if you are going to grab some food be prepared to WAIT...took a few friends for sunday lunch and this is the 2nd time this has happened we waited almost an hour for our food. It was rather embarrassing...especially as the portion sizes were tiny? I dont think its great value for money. I wouldn't reccommend this place for lunch/dinner.The staff were lovely however.
Brilliant pub, friendly staff and customers. Overall good selection of drinks and great atmosphere
The best pub roast in Wandsworth! We dined in the evening on Sunday and the staff were friendly and helpful and the roast was fresh and delicious. We'll be back again!
Gorgeous local pub, recently renovated, spacious weekend home to a lot of people in the 25-35 bracket. Good location for both new builds on the river as well as the old Putney townhouses by Wandsworth Park and East Putney.
Expect to take out some money out. Not the cheapest fish and chips.
Lovely pub that does a good Sunday roast. Very popular with 30-somethings.
A clean, sterile pub full of prams on the weekend. This one of those pubs you love to hate. It's okay on the outside, has lovely staff, decent beer selection and plenty of seating. But the food is below average and increasingly dear.
The pub is cozy, the food is good and the staff are friendly. Even better, they are happy to have children and babies join, with activities for kids to keep them busy.
HGreat value. Even nicer food. This hundred year old pub has a beautiful out doors eating area.
Decent pub but roasts aren't great. Tiny bit of beef, decent pudding, barley any veg other than a load of cabbage
Went for a Sunday roast for my girlfriend birthday lunch. They were short staff and we were informed the food will take a while. The food was just alright, I could actually cook better at home. Beautiful place and nice interiors.
