The variety of museums here is incredible. Art of varying eras and interests available in multiple buildings. Prices are reasonable gift shops are also well priced.

Would recommend planning a visit and prioritizing one or two museums. There's a lot to see and it can be exhausting to try too much. Recommending the Leopold for a great first stop.

In this place we understand how many Viennese live the art every day, and how much they really care about it. You can visit museums, be outdoors in some bar or eat something, all feeling part of this wonderful structure where you can breathe the culture, but in a light way and that leads you to want to know even more about the neighborhood and the city in itself.

Thanks to this place, Vienna not only indulges in itself, but also its visitors and new citizens in the history. A city that places its culture so centrally at the tailoring stage as Vienna triggers an inner vibration that puts one into a dangling enthusiasm for the exploration of city-historical milestones.

So many museums in one place - amazing! Beautiful quarter, there is something to see.
Many museums in modern style, and many lush, in statues, with columns.
Walk here and stands in the afternoon, and when it gets dark, everything looks different in the evening.
Many statues and monuments, beautiful trimmed trees. People lie resting right on the lawns near the museums.
Really beautiful place

Spread over 90,000m2 in central Vienna and encompassing 60 cultural institutions, the MuseumsQuartier Wien is one of the largest districts for contemporary art and culture in the world. Nothing is off limits at the MuseumsQuartier. Historic architecture meets contemporary design.

Very nice place if you want to improve your culture. It has different museums for everyone. Art, history and sciences and more. The architecture is to explore. It well deserved by the public transports and don t necessarily need to walk a lot inside the quartier. One day is good to make a tour of the museum.

To 'stay' there and there

To 'stay' there and there
gain new inspiration.
Works as a magnet for older young people and families with young children.
Almost all of those purple plastic 'seats' were occupied. Playful public street furniture on campus.

You only really want to come here if you're visiting one of the museums off of the plaza. But with that being said, it is a great hub to connect all of the museums together. Otherwise I wouldn't call it a "not-to-be-missed" destination. Nice benches and pop-up art exhibits as well as a few cute cafes in the plaza make it a great place to rest in between museum visits.
