This was a surprisingly cool place to go hike around. Really cool views as well as interesting facts about mining etc. We went in fall but sounded really cool in summer too for swimming in quarry pits.

What a gem so close to the cities. We read about it and decided to take a convertible ride out there today and take a hike around. So glad we did. Wished the trees still had colored leaves on them, but I guess we just have to go there again next year. The rock formations are so cool. The lakes are tranquil and pristine. You feel like you are on the North Shore and not just outside of St. Cloud. Go there and you will not be disappointed.

It's a wonderful park with loads of trails, beautiful woods, and it's a good way to learn some history of how granite is quarried. A nice swimming area with a sandy beach, fun for the whole family.

Very fun place to hike around take pictures and swim. The water is pretty blue color and definitely very deep in most places. Went with my good friends and enjoyed every bit of it. We weren't prepared for swimming unfortunately I would have loved to jump in!

Fun park. Great waiting list system. Drive around, give them your phone number and they text you when your spot is ready.

Park is plenty spacious and clean. We went to the same Quarry both days, where there are rock formations to climb and jump into the swimming hole. The area itself was awesome, with various areas to lay out if you just want to relax and a variety of rocks to jump off of at various heights. Climbing back up the side of the rocks was pretty gnarly after jumping off the 20(?) Foot rock formation, with just tiny rocks and various tree roots to climb.

Place loses one star as it's largely a spot for adolescents who don't care about the VERY few rules the place has. No alcohol, no smoking/vaping and no portable speakers. Both days all of these rules were being broken and the authorities in the park didn't even make an attempt to talk to a single person breaking the rules. Like what's the point of patrolling the park to not enforce anything?

Wonderful place to go explore and take dogs for a walk. In the summer it is a great place to go for a swim but it is quite wet and muddy in the spring. They also provide audiotours through qr code for people interesting in learning more about the area's history.

Pack your favorite snacks and cooler on non alcoholic drinks with a few floates with some sunscreen, and you will have a fantastic day. A littme side note hring a wagon or a cooler with wheels. Its a bit of a walk to get to the quarry.

I know this is a not really a bike trail in terms of it just being some hiking paths but that doesn't mean you shouldn't consider this if you want a nice ride around some beautiful scenery. The park is beautifully maintained, lots of cool stuff to see (especially if you're not from the area). Lots of history here about the original industry that made St. Cloud earn "The Granite City" name. Come here on a hot summer day and ride/walk around and take a splash! Or come whenever and enjoy beautiful scenery and awesome drop offs from the massive quarries! Family friendly as well. Love it here!

As someone who used to swim clandestinely in these quarries, thank the visionaries who finally decided to make this a permanent part of the St. Cloud experience. Lots of summer days with college girlfriends spent swimming here. Also, there was the one frozen Spring Formal midnight swim...

This is a beautiful park! I would not recommend walking alone though, so bring a friend. Make sure you bring something to drink and a small first aid kit plus some small snacks and a cell phone in case you get lost off of the main trail. The rangers are typically seen driving around so that is nice. I recommend wearing a life jacket if you are going to swim especially for children. Even if you are a good swimmer the water is very deep and cold. Gorgeous place to take pictures and the bugs weren't too bad the day we went, but it's still a good idea to bring bug spray. Also, grab a map at the front as it is kind of hard to tell in some spots which way to go on the park maps. Cost for parking here is $5 per day (2019 pricing so not sure if this will change)
