My experience with Quality Title was excellent from start to finish. In my case a few hurdles popped up (generated from my end) and the Quality Title & Escrow team jumped in to quickly analyze, understand and solve the issues. Closing was on the 31st. Two days before closing I received a phone call asking me if I preferred a check or wire transfer. I told them I wanted a check at closing. After all papers were signed I was then told a check was not available. I was then told they would overnight my check but for me to make sure I was home to sign for it with Fedex. I stayed home for two days waiting on Fedex only to find out Fedex never picked the envelope up from title company. Title Company blames Fedex. Fedex stated there was never a pickup ordered. Fedex delivered six days after closing. Not a good way to do busy. This whole thing could have been avoided if they had been honest upfront.
I have used Quality Title many times both professionally and personally. They just recently helped me close on a construction loan. They are knowledgeable, organized, reliable, have good communication, friendly, etc. - everything you could hope for from a title company!
The week of our closing they claimed we never communicated to them the time and how we were planning on closing. My wife and I both work for schools so we made sure that we would not have to take off of work and do a mobile closing. Our realtor confirmed with us that all of the arrangements had been made and the week of our closing a rude lady from the company called my wife and I angrily and demanded we get it all figured out. After we moved our schedule around to accommodate her, she then gave us the wiring information 30 minutes before our bank closed the day before the money was due. They do not take personal checks and she told us to figure it out. My wife and I tend to be very forgiving about miscommunications and accidents, but there was no reason for her to be rude and snarky. Business should be handled in a professional manner and we do not feel that it was. My wife and I highly recommend using a different title company if available.
