Closing was on the 31st. Two days before closing I received a phone call asking me if I preferred a check or wire transfer. I told them I wanted a check at closing. After all papers were signed I was then told a check was not available. I was then told they would overnight my check but for me to make sure I was home to sign for it with Fedex. I stayed home for two days waiting on Fedex only to find out Fedex never picked the envelope up from title company. Title Company blames Fedex. Fedex stated there was never a pickup ordered. Fedex delivered six days after closing. Not a good way to do busy. This whole thing could have been avoided if they had been honest upfront.
