Quality Hotel Grand Farris Review

Top room. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast with a huge buffet and incredible selection. Was there twice with wife and 2 children

I didn't book a room in the hotel. But the receptionist allowed to stay in the lobby for around 3 hours because of the first train I had to catch in the morning. It seems a very cozy and lovely place, at least the staff is very kind and helpful.

Ate Christmas party with a company. Very good food and very well stocked table. Should be tried, dedicated best in Larvik. But a recipe they should change is risk cream ...

Breakfast very good selection (Swedish table) rooms clean

Impossible to sleep in the Christmas table season. Even after calling the front desk to ask them to calm down a bit, the wish was ignored. Hotel operations are prioritized for the benefit of harry nightclub. Wall on the fifth floor shook in tandem with oversized PA in the bar.

Os open but in big renovation now , big modern with new shopping area to come

Worn hotel with stiff price. Miserable pressure in the shower, dirty carpets in the hallway, restaurant that was empty of juice at 07.15 and the rest of the day, day 2, the restaurant was empty of light - and skim milk. In addition, it was dry bread! Rather stay at Rica Sandefjord. Cheaper, not worn, much bigger rooms, free coffee and great breakfast buffet that lacked nothing!

Here is the incredibly cozy and indescribably nice suite, if you have the other room I would call room516 about 200 sqm very good food too

Located nicely next to the water with a short distance to the train and bus. Incredibly good service there. Lots to explore there, both spa and bars

An AMAZING old hotel with charm.
, got a large room with living room with 3 seats, 2 seats and 2 chairs and coffee table, 50 "flat screen tv and desk, wardrobe closet, the bedroom was separate room with 32" flat screen tv, minibar and a FANTASTIC good new swan mattress in bed and 8 !! Pillows In the bed from large pillows to smaller, newly refurbished bathrooms with a fantastic large shower with steam possibilities, hair dryer and double sink very helpful service, bar next to reception, good breakfast with 6 hot dishes as well as lots of toppings and "home baked" bread , own gluten-free menu. Free coffee and around the clock, can order food from the kitchen, have a good restaurant food made from scratch, ok prices on a delicious food. Right with the sea and the marina, quiet and quiet hotel even though it is right on the road so one does not hear it. REALLY a place to recommend.

Nice service! The room, on the other hand, was a little tired and poorly ventilated. Had to have the window up, but it was troublesome in the length of the train and the sounds of the flagpoles, so it could certainly have been remedied.

Nice hotel, in the middle of Larvik. Great accompanying restaurant on the beach promonade. The hotel has had its heyday, not directly worn but also not completely updated. The rooms were nice, clean and airy. The common areas were more worn. The staff was very nice and helpful. Travel cot was ready made. Due to the corona, breakfast service was somewhat limited.

Great food and great service. The room was worn but clean. Bad smell from the sink in the bathroom pulls down on the assessment.

Amazing stay. Spacious and clean room with a lovely design and view to fjord, big and comfortable bed, big TV, clean bathroom. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was incredible. I will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was good opposite the harbour and train station. Rooms are freshly painted so has a strong paint smell. Did not kind it as I was crashing for a nights sleep.

Everything is a bit old and worn. However, the restaurant, which was outsourced to the port facilities, great. That's why the 4 stars. The hotel itself, a maximum of 3.

Good price performance ratio. Nice rooms. Nice staff and good location.

Completely decent place to stay in connection with business travel. Short distance to various sights such as restaurant and bars. Fast Wi-Fi even though it was a bit unstable at times, fell in and out sometimes. The selection at breakfast could have been a bit more varied. Another factor that reduces the number of stars a bit is that you couldn't set the room temperature yourself, and in the rooms it was incredibly hot in those early summer days. Can be recommended if you do not intend to spend the days in the hotel room.

Large, nice rooms. The exterior of the hotel looks a tad worn-out.

One thing worth mentioning is that you need to use your key card to lock your room when you leave it. The door doesn't lock automatically!
(something they really should inform guests about at the reception!)

Nice service and nice hotel in a good location right in the center with proximity to both the E18 and the train station. The south-facing rooms overlooking the fjord are my favorites. Plenty of space for car parking. Poor breakfast and high price compared to it being an old hotel pulls down a bit. The rooms are fine but the hotel seems old and worn, it was renovation work when I was there in 2019.

Good food, very nice service. The hotel would come in handy for a light refreshment, after all it's all right.

Very happy with the Christmas lunch everything was good and stylishly laid out. Waiters and all of you others are completely professional. Looking forward to next time

Very nice staff. The room was small to be fam room but went fine. Room cleaning was not top notch.Breakfast was after Covid -19 restrictions.

The service staff is warm and friendly, the hotel facilities are also good, the room facing the water is spacious and bright, and you can enjoy the view from the window very well.

Friendly staff that make up for the aging facilities. I was told the hotel will be refurbished soon, this would make a big improvement. Rooms are dated and while things like the beds and furniture have been modernised, it's the little things like plug sockets in strange places at floor level and old rusty radiators that detract from a higher quality experience. Saying that, the food I had was very nice and the service was of a high standard.

Great hotel, lovely food and wonderful staff who make sure your stay is as relaxing as possible. Very satisfied.
