They will ask you to be present at 8 O'clock and the waiting time is 4 to 5 hours in that hot melting weather. They don't take online payments, you have to go to a bank to make payment. And you having to pay for an expensive non-refundable DHL postage before getting the visa is simply stupid.
We paid 320$ and my wife did not even get interview.
I would give 0 stars.

US Consulate in Erbil is an amazing place! They are so welcoming and warm. Always responsive to inquiries and phone calls. I renewed my passport with relative ease and was very impressed with the quality of service and timeliness. They really care about Americans in Erbil and getting in touch with the local communities really seems to matter to them. Great place.
