Had a takeaway from Purple Poppadum this evening - Absolutely gorgeous food - Ordering online was so easy and collection was speedy and felt safe. Definitely recommend.

Food was excellent, only slightly let down by slow & sometimes confused service.

Photo is of their Lamb Biryani + side order of Lamb Nan. Traditional, but more unusually in UK, their Biryani is cooked in an individual metal dish with edible thin pastry lid to keep all the moisture in, such that they don't by default provide any sauce (although you can order a Dhal side IF you want) instead the dish comes with yogurt.

Be aware most people round the table found their dishes medium to hot, so you may need to ask if you prefer your dishes milder.

I found the food excellent. The quality of the meat and the taste of the sauces were great. Definitely be having a takeaway from there again

Lovely food and super helpful staff. Really knowledgeable about the food and helped me to pick out some vegan dishes. The pakora was my absolute favourite. Been back for takeaway since.

Stunning. Food is very tasty and to a high standard and good quality. Plenty of it. Chutney with Poppadom is fantastic. We've tried different dishes. The Tiffin ones are great. Can't wait to sample more. Highly recommended.

Lamb rogan josh and garlic nan courtesy of deliveroo; lamb in a mild watery tomato soup.......garbage. I speak fair and the nan was decent, albeit small.

Ordered a takeaway last night, Prawn tiffin box, pakora, Lamb rogan josh, peshwari naan and pilau rice, arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, the Lamb rogan josh was the best I've ever tasted. This place is next level amazing.
