Beware of what is NOT said in their verbal contract:
Puls advertises that they repair appliances and that they charge a $79 evaluation fee that is refundable if you proceed with the repair using their technician. What is not exlained in their verbal contract is that they can only repair some items and if they do not have the expertise or tools to repair your item, no matter your desire / consent to have them complete the repair, they still charge you the $79 repair evaluation fee even though it is they who break the verbal contract.
They set up the consumer in a no-win bind:
1) If you refuse the repair, you pay the initial evaluation fee.
2) If they refuse the repair, you pay the initial evaluation fee.
Sort of a sleazy bait and switch scheme.
