When we put our house up for sale I knew stone gate realty was who we were going to work with. We weren t disappointed!! They are honest and always kept us up to date with info. Once our house was on the market with them it went under contract within a week. We will definitely work with them again in the future!

I ve used StoneGate Realty several times and have always had a great experience. Saying Amy and her team is awesome is an understatement. They will work with you in a personal and positive way to get you results above what you expect. I cannot say enough about StoneGate. Thank you Amy, Lacee, and team!

Amy made buying our first home so smooth and painless. She was honest and never pushy. She was also so caring and patient when we decided to sell it. I refer all of my friends to her when they are looking to buy a sell their home. In addition, Stonegate manages my dad s rental properties and he loves having them do it. He deals with zero headache and just gets money in his bank account every month. They are honest and hardworking people who have always treated us like family.

Homeowners looking for property management service...

Homeowners looking for property management services beware. At the beginning of November Mickey Chism contacted me in regards to a prospective tenant for our rental. I made my concerns clear and Mickey chose to ignore them and rented to the person anyway. He knew that she did not have any kind of verifiable income and took her word that she was an active duty service member (again, without verifying her status). If he had verified her status he would have discovered that she was NOT an active duty soldier. He also allowed her to have a pet in the house under the guise that it was a service animal , I asked him to verify that it was an actual service dog and he refused to do so. In December, when it came time to pay her first months rent she was nearly 15 days late and Mickey waived her late fees and made the excuse that she might not understand when her due date is . The same thing happened again in January, he again tried to make the excuse that he thought she just didn t understand when it was due. Until it became clear at the end of January that she had no intention of paying. At this point I believe that Mickey finally realized that the tenant he chose was a liar. He also failed to ensure that the tenant switched the utilities over to her name racking up an electric bill from November to February that she never paid for. When the tenant was finally evicted in March and Mickey was able to enter the property he found it a mess. In the 4 months that the tenant lived there her children drew on every wall in the house (in marker/sharpie) and the service dog peed on nearly every carpet (and tenant failed to clean it up). The house was disgusting to say the least. Mickey had the opportunity to make the situation better but instead chose to shirk responsibility saying that sometimes tenants lie and you don t know until after the fact. Had he done the job that he was hired to do he would have realized that she was lying and this could have been avoided.

We used Stonegate Realty for their property management services and the experience we had with their property manager, Mickey Chism, was terrible. He initially informed us (Mid-February) that he had a family of two with one small pet that wanted to move in quickly and if we would be willing to lower the rent slightly if they were to move in by March 1st. We agreed, got the house ready to be moved in and then the "couple" turned into a family of 5 with two large pets that did not move in until April but the property manager still honored the lower rent and did not inform us of the change in who was renting. We had issues with the property manager holding up his end of the agreement the entire year of the lease and felt constantly that he was uninvolved and difficult to deal with. The tenants struggled to pay on time and pay late fees and ended up moving out and leaving the lease early which we did not agree to and the property manager returned their security deposit before all rent was paid! I would definitely NOT recommend this company for this service and I am very disappointed that the business allows him to operate in such an inefficient and careless manner.

Even though I gave them a 120 day notice, they still said I had broken my lease. I vacated the house before the 15th of February they would not return any portion of my February payment. They told me on the 17th of January I would be receiving a refund of half a month s rent. I cleaned the house completely and even scrubbed the floors. Now I am waiting to see if they actually return my deposit. I have never been so disappointed in a company in my life. I am 76 years old and have been taken advantage of. Please investigate throughly before renting from this company.
