I am a real estate appraiser and have tried to be paid on a past due invoice for weeks. Although I was furnished with a person of contact, Jason Carter, he does not return phone calls, emails or third party referrals. All you get is a young lady that is stuck trying to explain that she will pass the message along.
Horrible people to get involved with.
Provident Funding gave us one of the lowest priced mortgage rates on the market out of the lenders we contacted. They were incredible to work with and our loan was closed (funded, whatever it s called) in under 30 days. If rates go lower, we ll use them again. Especially since they re advertising a returning customer discount on our account.
We already have loan with Provident Funding. I tried to refinance for my 5 yrs expire. This crooks took my $600 and never provide me information about rejection. I am glad I have enough cash equity to pay them off and have a loan free home. Very ridiculous people to work with
I wish I had read a lot of these reviews before I refinanced my loan. I consistently paid my previous mortgage with ProvidentFunding on time and sometimes even early with extra principal. They claim to take care of their valued customers but during my process of refinancing it was incredible the amount of hassle one has to go through, even though you are a valued customer. I ve had the opportunity to finance several properties and also finance second mortgage loans throughout my property history and can truthfully say that I could never recommend provident funding for any type of loan even if you were a long-standing customer. Take my advice and go to lending tree or any other mortgage bank or company to do business. I will!!
I set up an automatic payment, and thought all was settled down. but somehow automatic payment didn't work through. The company charged me the late fee although they saw my actions to set up the automatic payment, but they was not willing to waiver the late fee. Hard to communicate with them. Attitude of clerks on phone was good, so I gave 2 stars.

I have had loans with Provident Funding for many years . They have been helpful and thorough while offering great rates.
Wanted to pay off loan. They drug it along for days. Found out check cleared 5 days before they paid off the loan. Not good business, and then charge 10 bucks for a payoff statement! are you kidding. after all those years of paying. Never again
