Providence Country Club Review

Nice club, great staff and fun golf course. Members are the best part. Can sometimes be difficult to get tee times on the weekends. Popular place with a lot of members.

I have been a member of PCC for 20 years. Recently our club was purchased by McConnell Golf. Prior to the purchase, I was shocked and dismayed that this might happen and voted NO! The overall vote was YES. Wow was I surprised and... now delighted. The product that McConnell has delivered is far better than what I could have imagined and what we had. The service is excellent, the staff is great and the system that McConnell has put in place is tried, true and better. I am delighted that I was WRONG about my initial assessment concerning the change. Thanks McConnell Golf for doing what you said you would do and being a company lead by a man of his word.

Our daughter's wedding reception in May was positively magical! The catering staff at PCC went out of their way to ensure that every detail was attended to. The ballroom looked fantastic and the comments from our guests were all so very positive. The event went so smoothly that none of us wanted to leave!

This facility continues to improve over the years. Our meeting room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. There could have been more accessible power outlets, but they did provide extension cords and surge protectors. The Wi-Fi has been greatly improved since the last time I was here. The dining area also has recently been renovated and looks quite fashionable. The food is always excellent.

Country club is nice. Most people who work there are young or live in the neighborhood. Food is a little expensive but with a membership you dont pay time of so that is nice.

Very nice! We attended a wedding there in December.

The greens are very hard and The Creeks that cross the Fairway are unfair to the average golfer. Once you leave the Fairway the grass is limited as there are a lot of bare spots. Would recommend carrying a lot of extra golf balls.

This country club is a beautiful getaway from the Charlotte traffic. The course is in excellent condition and it is a pleasure to play on. Just enough water to make it painful along with some tricky par 4 holes that require less than driver off the tee. It can get hot so be prepared with a hat and sunscreen. The staff is excellent and the beer is cold. Couldn't have been happier. Another McConnell course looking like a 10/10.

We had both our boy's Bar Mitzvah's at Providence Country Club and had a terrific experience both times. Food, service and staff was great. As someone who is heavily involved in the event industry, we are pretty critical. I highly recommend this venue.

Most underated golf course in the country, not only in North Carolina! PGA professionals & Management are on top of the experience, A great team that goes above & beyond for their members & guests! Providence is awesome, fantastic community! Will become a National member soon!

Internet is really slow but nice big conference rooms and easy to find

Phenomenal shape, Great Golf Course and faculty. Orders a Guinness and the Salmon BLT after our round. EXCELLENT

My husband's company has had their Christmas party here every year for at least the last 15 years and it has been wonderful every time. The facility is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food was delicious.

Great round of golf. As a private club that allows guest play, little to no signage about where to go especially from 12 to 13. Or which door around the back is the pro shop vs the locker rooms.

This place is fantastic and the staff and members are great. The cart staff is a very big help around here.

Private club. Recently renovated. Outstanding facilities and top notch staff.

Had a nice time went with our daughter and son in law. The fish and chips was very good along with the shrimp and grits.

Our daughter's wedding was recently held at PCC. The event was wonderful and everything looked beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our guests truly enjoyed their evening. Dorianne and Zee were very pleasant to work with and very helpful on the day of the wedding.

Attended a wedding there November 7th. The location was beautiful outside and the reception was fantastic. Covid protocols were followed to the tee and we had a lovely time.

This venue is really nice. I enjoy coming here every year for my husband's Christmas party.

My sister's wedding was amazing! Dee and Caitlyn helped so much to make her dream come true.

Great place for a meeting. Chocolate lava cake was great.

The pool bar was awesome cause my brother in law, who is the member, bought the drinks!

I love this place, it s incredibly beautiful. I have a few friends that live here and I visit from time to time. The golf course is exceptional, some of the best greens In the area. I honestly don t like playing anywhere else
