I keep getting calls from this company. I live in another state. The company is calling doing poll research (ph # comes up as a MO number) for people living In MO and wants me to answer political questions for candidates in MO even though they have repeatedly been told that I do NOT live in MO. I asked them to tell me what phone # they are calling and that's when the woman said "oh these calls are on a auto-dialer"... so then I said, " you are padding the books by calling out of state ph #s and asking ppl MO questions that don't pertain to them yet putting poll numbers that look like its MO citizens who have been asked. I then told them who my US sen was and also who's MO sen was and that since I had called both separately abt these calls, maybe now we all get together and look into their activities/ harassing calls- asked maybe if they would be interested in their scam tactics since they keep calling my home multiple times a week and won't STOP CALLING!!!!!!! I mean, different ppl call, I explain I'm NOT a MO resident and ask that I get taken off their dialer. Still they try to ask questions... they get hung up on. They call back. Go thru this now for over 12 months, if not longer.
I even just tried to call corporate office to leave a vm but guess what- vm doesn't work. The email given I tried to send also bounced back as undeliverable
This is a scam company that leans left!! And won't remove your phone number no matter how many times you ask!!!

I've worked at Promark's Sawdust location since 3/19. I ended up here because of medical issues that stop me from being able to stay on my feet more than 10 minutes or so at a time. I needed something where I could sit and that didn't expect me to have specialized training or previous experience. Promark has high turn-over because as long as you can read a script, they'll give you a chance to prove you're up for the job.

It's not for everyone, but it's a good job with a few caveats. Hours are at the mercy of Promark's customers - It's not full time and hours vary based on what time zones we're hired to poll and the number of projects we get hired to do. The scheduling is more flexible than my previous jobs (pick your day off, optional extra Sat shift often available).

The job can get tedious at times and you're limited in what you can do to keep yourself occupied while dialing for the obvious reason that they don't want you getting too distracted and unproductive.

Survey content is in the hands of the customers, not Promark, and sometimes they choose to get really biased, making my job less fun. Other times, it's written in ways that make it obvious that whoever writes this gurbage has never actually administered a survey. On the plus side, there's lots of hilarious stuff to mock with your fellow interviewers!

When I started, I remember swinging wildly between loving and hating the job, lol. A fidget spinner and a word search puzzle make things less maddening but I still hate days when I have bad luck getting surveys.

I've had some really amazing conversations with respondents. I love when we're laughing our way through the survey! This job really requires you to be able to distance yourself from your own political opinions. I've had very enjoyable surveys with people whose views are in direct opposition to mine. For the purposes of my job (as far as respondents are concerned) I have no political opinions whatsoever. If you can manage that, Promark might be for you!

What makes me truly love my job are the other employees at the Sawdust location. There's such a wide variety of people interviewing and everyone is SO nice. You know how there's always that one person at work that just rubs people the wrong way and is difficult to get along with? Sawdust doesn't have one! It's a very laid-back atmosphere and people are always willing to offer advice and help to newbies. The manager at Sawdust is hands-down the best boss I've ever had. Everything you could ask for in a boss. Both he and the supervisors give great constructive criticism and feedback - it's always very clear what is expected of you.

I was called by these people about a week ago to do a survey about my political views which I had no problem doing at all. However when I was answering the questions I answered with yes ma'am and no ma'am and the young lady on the other line I had asked me not to call her man because she was younger than me. And then it was almost like she didn't like the way that I was answering the questions when I told her I had no opinion on the particular candidate that she was discussing if she told me that I could not answer it that way. I then proceeded to ask her how can you get an accurate sample of my opinion if you are telling me what to say or what I cannot say.

I at no point in time signed up for unsolicited calls. And when asking the woman who called how I ended up of the call list she decided hanging up on me is easier than answering a question. Great quality employees!

I have worked here 3 years. It is the perfect type of work for me. I like my coworkers and really like my supervisors and managers. There are rules that are easy to follow. I have seen people that are always disgruntled about rules, but I find them comforting. They help you excell. I enjoy being excellent.
