Rob is a compassionate and skilled trainer that gives great advice and sends you home with practical training tools to work at home with your dog. He also was flexible when it came to adjusting our training during covid so the experience was very safe.

Rob and Alexis are the best at their craft. Their love and knowledge of dogs allows them to serve everyone. All types of dogs for all needs. From simple obedience to specific canine issues of aggression or fear. They put the animals needs first but gently train the owners :)
Rob and Alexis are fabulous. Our dog is a stray/rescue from Mexico with moderate-high aggression toward other dogs. After a six-week session we noticed a significant improvement in not only her attitude toward other dogs but general obedience including heeling and recalling. Rob in particular is extremely knowledgeable and adaptable to his clients' dogs. Would highly recommend - worth every penny!
My son and I brought our 8 month old boxer ( DayDay) with the thought he might be developing aggression. After having the first assessment done they were able to identify what work he needed and how to deliver great results. Every week was a transformation and with that being said it is up to us (owners) to be consistent with the training. After eight sessions, he has become a well trained puppy while still working on a few little twerks at home. Obedience training and off leash training has exceeded my expectations and can't thank you Rob and Alexis enough for the work we have done. These guys are extremely professional. Their training has changed our and our dogs life for the better. They totally bespoke the training to you and your dog and the family. They listen carefully to what you want, they encourage and provide you with incredible knowledge and skills. They understand dogs, they love dogs, you can see it. Based on the market, it ended up being extremely good value for price and what our Lab Puppy "sky" learned.
Before the training, we started to hate walking Sky because of the pulling, he didn't know how to drop, he was scared of other dogs and aggressive at times towards them, he growled at us when we came around his food, among others.
But now all of those problems are fixed. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to, loved our experience there!
My dog was intolerable and now he's actually enjoyable to be around. We aren't done our sessions yet either. Saved is!

I wish I had found Rob and Alexis when my Rottweiler was a puppy - I went to a different trainer instead and ignored some of the bad reviews and highly regret it. My dog has aggression issues and is just a jerk at times. I completed the initial 6 week training course here and signed up for more because I feel that myself and my dog are getting so much from this training. I feel more confident and my dog honestly enjoys the training there and the continued work I do at home with him. Rob is a fantastic trainer - never yelling or getting frustrated like a previous trainer did. He listens and tried to understand the behaviour and work on improving it. My dog may never be the balanced dog I was hoping for, but with their help he has already improved so much!
Rob and Alexis are both great human beings and very knowledgeable dog trainers, highly respected in the dogs training world. They have guided us immensely through the whole training process with our two dogs. I really appreciate their positive approach and their patience, teaching me and my dogs from scratch, and equipping us with tools to establish good behavior habits and a solid obedience in just a few weeks. Even when it's still an ongoing process, I feel best equipped to perpetuate my dogs good behavior, not to mention how happy my dogs are as a result!
We see a big difference in our dog after every class (as long as you practice at home with your dog consistently).

We started working with Rob after our rescue dog started becoming aggressively protective of our property and people. I'm really not sure if Brian trained me or the dog lol, but it worked...fast. Our dog now heels nicel y and passes distractions on our walks without a fuss. It is costly, but it is professional service!

Rob and Alexis are amazing! Highly recommended, they are very knowledgeable and personable. They help with any behavioural issues to simple obedience.
Went to them initially with my dog(who has some anxiety issues) for a few things: snapping at other dogs, obedience and problems focusing with recall while learning agility at another facility, they don't normally do agility work but Rob sets up some courses at the end of most of my sessions to make it fun which also helps piece together some obedience.
Could not ask for better trainers!
We are beyond happy with the professional and meticulous training we received for our newly adopted rescue dog, Ruby. I've got a tough breed, so I take training pretty seriously. After shopping around, I knew these guys were by far the best suited to take on my pup. If you have the onset of behavioral issues with an dog and you don't know what to do, having a PHD in behavior training tell you to fill out a form and wait 2 weeks for an appointment is the last thing you want to hear, especially if they're getting worse. These guys WILL make time for you, take your concerns seriously and show you exactly what to do. They don't take themselves too seriously, love what they do, and know their stuff. As a result, you won't feel like you're being kicked out during their classes, do lots of good training, and hear lots of cool "dog stories" from Rob in the process. I highly recommend this trainer for anyone.

I have a German Shepherd that loves me, but isn't good with anyone else, at all.
After being shuffled around between half a dozen trainers who all pawned me off on someone else, I did some googling and found Progressive K9.
They weren't intimidated by my dog or his problems (he was a rescue); they were nonjudgmental and considerate.
Not only did they give me excellent strategies on how to deal with his reactive nervousness, but also, they took the time to understand my individual needs. Within one lesson my dog was walking better, calmer; within two he was better with people approaching us... It is an ongoing process - but if you do what they advise - it works. They are worth the time and money. I only wish I had found them first because I wasted 2 years looking for someone that could handle 'aggression' issues. They were the only ones I met with that honestly know what they're doing and aren't scared of a challenge.
