Decent place for events.
Food wasn't the greatest, and the bathroom was very cold.
It is December, but cooler yhan most other event places.

Awesome and cosy place to throw a nice small wedding.

Beautiful space, love the lights and the design of the decorations. The staff was awesome and friendly.

I attended a wedding at the event center and had a very nice time. The decor was good and the food was on par with most weddings. The staff was pleasant and efficient with their work, and the bar staff handled the crowd well.

Parking was a little limited, but there was event parking a short walk away.

Diamond hall is just beautiful and elegant. They have a tone of lights that you can change their color depending on your wedding/event color theme. Food/ desserts are amazing. Prices are good.

This has been my go-to rehearsal and film location for years now. Clean and conveniently located by the UofM! Great parking for loading equipment as well.

What a great place! The staff was helpful and sweet. They worked hard to keep the event going smooth and made sure everyone had what they needed. I was just a guest but it looks like they did great.

Able to personalize for your special event. Centrally located in the metro makes it pretty easy to get to.

Nice venue for a large celebratory gathering. Good food! Responsive staff. Photo booth on site for event rental is also a bonus. Candy bar and pizza bar available as well. The down side is very limited parking at site. BUT free parking a block away, which wasn't bad.

The food was very bad, spending almost 15,000 dollars on an event never again

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. It was everything I had wanted. The food was delicious, the cake looked amazing and the decor was beautiful. Our coordinator was great and we got so many compliments from family and friends.

Great location and awesome setup for playing. A little spendy. Stool a good place to rehearse.

This is a phenomenal place for an event of any kind... Very impressed.

The perfect venue! Our reception was 10.20.18 in the Diamond Hall. I had wanted a modern style venue that was affordable this was it!

My Husband and I held our reception at the Profile. It was fantastic! The staff was helpful, professional, and lovely to work with. During the event itself our guests kept on telling me how impressed they were with the space, the bartender, and the appetizers (especially the cheese appetizer). The space (Diamond Hall) is very modern and interesting with multiple levels. It set a new standard for what I'll look for in a all future event spaces. I highly, highly recommend this event center.

Ran out of food at a wedding, even though a large number of the people expected couldn't make it. For a place that deals exclusively in hosting events, I was shocked. They were very rude about it, too, and didn't apologize to the couple that booked and paid the venue.

I shot a wedding here a couple of weeks back. This place is beautiful. The food is great and the wedding coordinator Bailey is amazing! She is so nice to work with and it definitely made my job easier! I look forward, as a photographer myself, shooting at this venue again in the future. The ambiance from the lighting is very unique and it allows for some beautiful photographs. Definitely would recommend!

My wedding at Profile Event Center has been an absolutely amazing experience. If I could relive this day, I would do it all over again. My coordinator, Anna Nguyen, was so amazing to me and made it such a wonderful experience!!! She works really well with others and with people from all different backgrounds. She is very patient (and funny!) and accommodated to all our needs. Everything that you need, they can do! They did everything from the setup to decorations to the food. You don't have to go to other places or vendors since it is all in one easy package. The venue is incredibly beautiful. They are very experienced and know what they are doing. Anna is THE BEST. Ask for her! She is the best coordinator there!!! She is quick to get back to you whether phone or email and she makes sure you are taken care of. She worked so hard on our wedding to give us this amazing day. We can't thank Anna enough!!! Thank you Anna and Profile for everything!!!!!!!

I had my wedding and reception at the Profile Event Center and loved everything about it. It was affordable and they were super easy to work with. Our event coordinator Michaela was phenomenal and made sure our day was perfect and went off without a hitch. From start to finish, everything about hosting at the Profile Event Center was wonderful. I highly recommend them for wedding receptions.

I just had my wedding here. It is a beautiful venue, however my experience was rather frustrating. The food was great, and DJ was amazing. However, other than that, it was not worth the expense. My coordinator was never to be found when I needed her. She kept disappearing to her office at the other end of the building. I needed to pull up my own chair for the garter take off, which was pretty embarrassing that the coordinator was no where to be seen to help with events like that. The colors I requested for lighting were all completely incorrect. I even went in a week or so prior to the wedding to confirm my lighting choices. I spent half the reception trying to find people or things I needed, including the coordinator. I was really hoping my wedding would be more stress free. I had a slide show that I literally spent weeks preparing that was supposed to be running the entire cocktail hour and dinner, and it wasn't running until I noticed it wasn't running, ran around trying to find my coordinator, and requested they start it half way through dinner! This should have been figured out the morning of. There are several other things, but all in all, very very unhappy I chose this venue. They have great decor and food, and like I said a great DJ, but it was not worth the stress for how expensive it was. There were way to many mistakes and too little help. Even leading up to the wedding, our coordinator was often hard to get a hold of, and I would email multiple questions and finally get an email back days later with answers to just a couple of them. I would not recommend this venue.

Was here for my niece's wedding and the place looked fabulous! Lots of sparkle and drapery. Food was on point and staff was friendly.

I highly recommend the Profile Event Center. We worked with Patrick and he was phenomenal. He was prompt, patient, and accommodating. He was very easy to work with. We had so many compliments from our wedding guest about our wedding decor and food. The food was delicious especially the steak and salmon entree. I must say the salmon entree was by far the best salmon I ever had. As for the decor, it was very magical and beautiful. The twinkle lights gave the venue an elegant touch.

Best rehearsal studio I've used so far. They were helpful and worked with me on various levels. Their halls are totally professionally run. Great sounding spaces.

Recently attended a celebration held at the profile event center. Staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. Easy to get food, open bar drinks, and the Casablanca hall was such a beautiful and spacious room. You can tell they put a lot of attention to all the details. From the restrooms, hallways and rooms, all were well kept, clean, classy and inviting. I highly recommend, everyone here works very hard and provide amazing hospitality.

I would recommend the place to any that is looking for a low key place to have a reception

Great experience, our wedding wad a blast and the staff was awesome. Our planner Sarah helped take care of everything.

While we were looking for wedding venues, we were referred to Profile Event Center and it was one of the worst decisions we made. Even submitting our deposit was difficult, as we originally planned to make our deposit during a meeting at the physical location. That meeting was cancelled at the last minute. When we reached out to PEC and Patrick (the owner) about contingency planning on account of COVID-19 and how we should submit our deposit, we were accused of trying to get out of our contract and threatened with legal action.

The staff, including our planner, did mostly great work, but the experience was overshadowed by Patrick s adversarial behavior (his word, not mine) and left much to be desired. I would strongly encourage anyone looking at PEC to consider other options. It s hard not to feel bad for PEC s staff as it s clear they work hard and do a lot to be flexible for their clients. However, based on our experience, it seemed clear that Patrick s primary concern was being able to host as many events as *legally* possible.

Profile Event Center truly provided 5 star service. During the crazy covid-19 times, they were there every step is the way, helping ha plan, then re-plan, and plan again. The inside is beautiful and they have a free parking lot for all the guests. An all inclusive venue like this one makes planning so much easier. Our coordinator that came with the venue, Sara, was so understanding and helpful. She was also flexible with our work schedules. We had dietary restrictions for meals and they custom made recipes for dinner and dessert that were amazing! I would 100% choose Profile Event Center again.

This is a weird place. Combination event hall with catering kitchen while the rest of the building is rooms rented out for musicians. There's always loud noises. Parking is pretty atrocious, their lot requires their permit and it's right by UofM. The inside hasn't had a decent update since maybe the early 90's? Maybe 80's with the paint splatter wall going on in many areas. Very lovely combo with sound proofing foam glued randomly all over the place. I believe this keeps the rent on the rooms fairly reasonable though.
