North little rock.The branch manager has zero to little management skills, zero people skills and had taken more sick days than worked. Empty promises made when I accepted the job as a assistant manager. I am a veteran of 10 years and have never seen a place more mismanaged.
They find every little way possible to screw you on money. They will make an excuse each and every time as to why you didn't get paid what you deserve.
been a cd driver for pti sence i started and been nothing but broken promises from upper management and when a driver does say something they r the bad person and gets treated like crap the vans r so out dated and the miles r way to high to safely transport the crews and some of the motels they stick us in i wouldnt put my dead cat in and then when they do get us out on a program they do not provide transportion for us drivers when we r away from our family doing a huge favor for this company can say more but i know this is a waiste of time cause ron roman could care less about his driver
Was always shorted on my checks. Was told it was a "payroll" mistake. Finally left working 80 hours plus in two weeks to make $300 or less.... Never added up.
Worked there for over a year. 95% of the time I would get in a van and it either wouldn't be safe or it would have something mechanically wrong with it, the company treats you like garbage, the pay is an absolute joke ($10 per hour), and when you tell the person on charge to get a van fixed, they are almost guaranteed to say no and keep a dangerous van in service. Keep in mind, I was getting trips that were over 400 miles round trip on a regular basis.
Feel it is a company that has lots of challenges with the drivers. I myself as a driver complain about some things. They are in business to make money and have implemented what they feel is correct way.
Have worked here in Memphis, quit for a month & came back right during a BM change.a month later, there hasn't been a meeting where the BM can be seen by the drivers.Some of the drivers act like an otr driver waiting for the assigned train is ignoring it when another train is calling their driver.Ive had RR police sicced on me by supposed co-workers bc I wouldn't tell them why I was in " their" yard.The vans are either all used by the yards and unavailable for the otr drivers or the keys have been kept by a driver who doesn't understand others will need the van too
As a WA resident and having dealt with being involved with "on-call" situations, a WA state Dept of L & I supervisor told me that ALL ON-CALL HOURS ARE ON THE CLOCK! And it is ILLEGAL for PTI not to pay for those hours! So every complaint about wait time and on-call time IS LEGITIMATE and NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED by PTI's Indiana corporate headquarters!! You NEED TO PAY FOR ON-CALL AND WAIT TIME HOURS!
Let's not talk about PTI. Let's talk about the Company that A-servced several Vans and had things like battery going dead. Dodge Carravan's wheel assembly getting loose and bolts stripping to were only two bolts that hold the hub to the car. I'm not talking about lug nuts, it is the part that holds the tire to the frame of the car. And let's commend the excellent driver who knew when to get off the exit and go to Firestone, Hopefully a good one. Yes I am not saying all Firestones are bad. But the one on 124th and Burleigh in Milwaukee area is not up to par with me. Both events happened within days of an A service.
These people dropped off a patient at our office before we even opened and didn't wait with him. He wasn't on the schedule but we had to see him because no one was coming to pick him up. After his appointment we called for them to pick him up, they told us it was a 2 hour wait and he should call a family member to pick him up. Absolutely horrible.
Horrible, not professional by any means. They are not on time and you will most definitely miss a apt time or flight if you are using this service...I will never use again.
Livingston from your MTM branch in Florida was extremely rude to my first day driver. Barbara my driver was great handling the faulty app she's required to use but Livingston's disrespectful attitude over the phone is UNACCEPTABLE!! Props to my driver Barbara. She did a great job transporting me to my appointment. But her boss epitomizes toxic leadership and unprofessionalism. Barbara didn't need to hear it and neither did I! I'm 1-starring this because of poor leadership selection and placement which can make any business pure misery for client and employee alike! But Barbara deserves a 5 star.
Poor management. Poor pay. There all about the share holders. They need restructuring of there business. Drivers are played minimum wages basically. Drivers aren't compensated for the lives they live while working, ( not knowing when you'll be working or when they'll be home again). They have lost some union pacific contrasts on the east side of the country for poor performance and high rates they charge, which drivers dont get. They have hired over 70,000 people country wide in the last 4 years. People come but dont stay. I like the job I do, but the company need restructuring big time. Wish under cover boss would do a show on them. Lol

Saw an ad for 2 positions they had open applied for both. Call to check on my application they hung up on me.
Had an encounter with a driver in the condo resort where I live. We have a speed limit of 10 mph and yes there are speed limit signs everywhere. The driver came around a curve traveling well above the speed limit and if myself and another resident hadn't been watching her I'm sure she would have also disregarded the stop sign. As she was leaving the resort she was still driving above the speed limit,we were able to get the vehicle's number and the saw the TINY sign on the van. I went home found the company 's phone number and called to file a complaint. After reading the reviews for this company I have a feeling the complaint will fall on deaf ears.
Absolutely, the worst company to work for, in my area, the branch managers, and the division manager, are something to be desired.
From, way up top of this company, all the way down to mangers, is an absolute disgrace on how to run a business, from writeing someone up from working 13 mins over, to having us drive the stinkiest, dirtiest, ill maintained vehicles you ever saw, not too mention the rate of pay!!, what a flippin joke!! I would give no stars, if it was a option!, I have sooo many horror stories about this company, way too many to type about, but hope you all get the jist!!, stay away from them!! o btw, don't you dare hit a deer!!, you will be at fault and sent home with no pay, til they do a investigation!! because its a possibility, its your fault that the deer ran out in front of you!! that's no joke!!
Very rude driver literally got out of the van to try to fight me because I almost back into her even after I offered my apology right in front of some children in the van. Your company name needs to change because your drivers are far from professional.

PTI is a great company to work for but they need to be able to learn to trust their drivers and for the people that have a good driving record and haven't had any issues in your safe drivers should be allowed to have their own personal work van that they are allowed to drive home park at their house and only use when they are driving to work or to go to work and take trips that's my personal opinion because then that person knows if anything goes wrong with that van they know what's going wrong if the radio rebel radio doesn't work it can be fixed that's the only concern I'm having is the vans need to be worked on and fixed to where they're in properly running condition to where the employees do not have to leave the yard to go switch out a van The Romeo doesn't appreciate it and the driver doesn't appreciate having to drive out and do this we have to keep our customers happy if not we're going to lose them I really hope that somebody from PTI preferably the manager or the owner sees this and does something about it it's just a concern I love the company but we've got to have working bands or maybe do the option like I said for people that are good safe drivers and haven't had any accidents should be allowed to be able to take a van home and only use it for work only.
They are terrible with picking up on time for medical appointments. I would rate it a zero if they had it as a rating so they are lucky to get one star. They always want to go by rules and regulations but when they mess up they just can say we apologize!!!
DO NOT RECCOMEND. My husband was paid 6.2 an hour for working 64 hours in a week. Well under minim wage.
I won't lie , yes there are some things that could be changed, but honestly every job has something that needs to be worked on.
I don't care though because in the end, I respect the railroad crews I work with everyday!
Sometimes dispatch may be late getting a call out to request a driver for the crews, but by no means should that reflect onto the driver!
My ABM (assistant branch manager ) is by far an amazing person ! She works well with everyone and their schedules , she isn't even afraid to get her hands dirty and help us out in the yard or over the road.
Sucks to see such a low rating for this company, especially when there are people who work hard to provide safe transportation for Union Pacific crews!
I can't wait until I can work myself further up the ladder with this company!

Not professional by any means. Average wait time on a van is an hour or longer, this stinks when you've been sitting on a train for 12 hours or longer.
Driver arrived early. He actually got out of his cab and knocked on the door (ucabbi would never do that for a passenger) I explained to him that we weren't expecting him for another 45 minutes so he agreed to give my handicap husband more the to get ready and he came back 30 minutes later (a ucabbi wouldn't do that either) got out of the cab to help my husband get in. A+ service. Thank you
I worked everyday on the "board" they had so many drivers I would be 13th in line and would never move up. One week I worked 7days and had 2 runs. Can't make any money with this company.
By far the worst possible company anyone can work for. Employee's are treated unfairly by management. Always issues with pay. Safety department is a complete joke and management is the worst. The owner and his daughter should live this life for a month. I guarantee they couldn't handle it. And beware bed bugs in vehicles. Constant problem. On a scal of 1-5 you can give PTI a -5.
Eight years I've been with this company and I've witness them break every law possible! Nothing professional about them.
They say that they pay more money than any other company and that's a big fat lie so I wouldn't recommend applying for them at all and they won't let you take they Van's home if you're on call and they only let people that have work there longer than anyone to them home but people who get hired on that shouldn't be fair
Hope the improve management do to the fact that the company looks to cut people who are making more then $10 an hour and tries to keep people who don't have a life outside of the company

Put money into your drivers,who's going the work in the middle of the night and all weather. And put it into your fleet that can put3,000 miles or more a week on and drives in all sorts of terrain
pti is very wrong on how they run there company on the hours a driver can be on duty or on call which is the same thing,in the fmcsa rules you can not be on duty for more 15 hours and may not drive after have been on duty for 15 hours, so that being sad this company is in violation of the fmcas rules and ive tired to talk to the branch manager in Everett Washington ,her com. wa you can drive up to 10 hours ,and your on duty counts only on the hours you have driven ,I don't agree for you puy on schudle to be on stand by or on call from 1900 to 0700 that makes you on duty for 12 hours,pti needs to follow the rules of the road,then when I was hired and did my interview I was told id be getting paid 9.50 hour which was a lie so the managers lie to the public to just get people to accept the jobs,I witnessed the Everett manager bullyling another employee by writing him up on hear say and acussed him for being the reason why the new hires don't stay on that's not the reason .The branch managers need to be more people people then just someone whos using the vans for personal transportation to run there family around and etc.
Treats employees like crap and most of the vans I drove wasn't safe. There are managers that don't care about the drivers. Cooperate don't care except about the money. I was passed up for a promotion cause I wasn't a ass kisser and did my job. The ones who got the promotions got screwed also cause they brought someone in from another branch
Worked for this company for a month shy of two years before they terminated me.. I worked my Ass off for them and did more then most and yet got treated like crap and walked all over because I voiced my opinion. The only good thing about that company was that at times you got to meet some truly amazing railroader's and they taught me more then Pti ever did..
We are having some difficulties with our union steward. We're losing people because of him. We tried everything. This is a great place to work for, but not with the union steward here that we have now. It's getting bad please help.
Can not get my paystub and it's been almost 2 mos. Rediculous and they don't give it personally. They give an online portal which I can not get into because I quit. It says unauthorized user. Rediculous.

I work for the railroad. In the Chicagoland area the majority of the PTI drivers can't drive or follow driving instructions. It's amazing how many times I've watched a driver try to turn around in a spot that someone with common sense wouldn't turn around in and get stuck. We have had probably a good dozen PTI drivers in the last 4yrs drive up on the rail. Not to mention trying to get them to answer the radio when you've been calling for 20 min. It seems that if you just passed the drivers exam they will give you.
Worse service ever was just told i called 15 minutes ago when i called damn near two hours already and was told i have to wait another hour . this place made me miss other appointments and charged more for babysittiers and everything. 40 mimutes is understandavle but after an hour its just plain ludacris i recommend this company just stop what its doing and just close down. There are real professionals like cindys transportatation, yellow cab, brendas transportation, indyairport that can handle the easy task as simply giving the needy rides without judgement or being treated like your time isnt valued. Cause PTI does not give a damn about you or your time.
Had ride scheduled for Dr appointment today with 10am pickup and no show, didn't even have respect of calling me, and it's not the first time
