Truly the hamster wheel of staffing agencies. Avoid at all costs.

The largest doesn't mean the best. I think PSG bit off more than they can chew, i recieved very little to no help getting help for a career path, the relationship seems to be similar to other bad experiences, they set you up with stuff you don't want, the communication dies out slowly and it's not that great to begin with.
Honestly you're better off going with a smaller staffing agency since with all the PSG advertising around, i feel like companies don't take PSG as seriously and either won't pay as much as you deserve or won't take you as seriously when you want offers like temp to hire or direct hire. They have dwindled down to finding you day jobs for $12 an hour at inconvenient locations.

This is the worst temp agency by far that I have ever experienced within the greater boston area.

The staff does not care about helping someone seek employment. And I honestly don't see the point of this agency.

PSG has been an invaluable resource to me. I am very appreciative of the support and encouragement that I have received and they're very proactive in not only informing me of opportunities available to me but also in checking in on me and my progress. Thanks PSG!

PSG was there to support me when other places ignored me. I have had a great time working with PSG, they have given me space to develop and craft my own job search while also offering their own short-term positions. It pays to be responsive to their posts and be clear with direction of your own career because not all offered position will fit long-term.

Professional Staffing Group has been very helpful to me in job search. In December 2017, I reached out to them to aid in my job search as I was relocating from New Jersey to Boston. Matt Thomson was very helpful the whole way in giving me tips for interviews as well as maximizing my time and efforts in finding the right opportunity. I received a job offer in February 2018 and I couldn't have done it without PSG's help. Even though this position was not one they found for me, Matt was very helpful in the whole process. I would definitely work with PSG again if I ever need help in searching for a job again.

Fake ads, are really annoying. Don't do that, you are wasting someone's time.

After a fantastic intake with Katikie back in April, I have heard nothing from anyone and after my two follow-up e-mails expressing my concern that I have not received any leads from them (yet have applied to 60+ jobs on my own), makes me feel like the whole intake was a waste of time.

I m sure they field a lot of individuals on a daily basis but the fact that my search seems to have fallen through the cracks is wildly disappointing, incredibly careless and speaks to their level of organization and professionalism. I will avoid recommending them to friends who might inquire.

Having worked at PSG for almost five months, I can say with 100% confidence that working here has been wonderful. I never put too much stock in temping before moving to Boston and finding out that finding a permanent job was a lot harder than I thought. But since coming to PSG last September I found a welcoming and supportive community that has been instrumental in my successful transition to city life. The staff are helpful and willing to work with your schedule, which is great when trying to balance other aspects like interviews. Working at PSG has been great, and I have already recommended them to other friends who moved to Boston recently.

Stacey and the rest of the team at PSG absolutely exceeded my expectations with their investment in me as a job seeker. I felt understood, supported and, ultimately, matched with fantastic opportunities that allowed me to perform well, learn new skills and explore different industries.

This place is very unorganized and unprofessional. I received their name and number from a good friend of mine. I decided to give them a call and see what they could assist me with. I called and spoke with a woman named Ann or Anna. She asked me a few questions and then instructed me to submit my resume to her (as I did). I was also informed that she would call me the following day to touch basis with me and further discuss my opportunities which NEVER happened. Three weeks had gone by and I hadn t heard ANYTHING from this woman. Whenever I call her she doesn t answer and never once returned ANY Of my calls. I decided to call the main phone number yesterday and spoke with a different woman who informed me that she would have Ann reach out to me later that day. Anne sends me an email later that day stating that she s been swamped with other candidates and she has completed the interviewing process and I didn t make the cut. My advice to anyone who is actively seeking employment like myself, use A DIFFERENT AGENCIES. These people don t care about you and are very unprofessional.

I wouldn't waste your time with them. You can go on the website and see all of the jobs they have posted but once you call in they will only want you to apply to the current jobs they're working on. Why post other jobs if your only working on low paying jobs. They do not care about trying to actually help you apply to a job. Once you say your not interested in the job they're trying to push onto you, they'll just say we'll keep you on file and you'll never hear back from them.

Throughout my time working with PSG, every employee I've spoken to has been professional and responsive. When you're between jobs and struggling with an uncomfortable level of uncertainty, prompt responses and consistent check-ins from the employees at staffing agencies are appreciated, even if they don't immediately have a role for you to fill.

As other reviewer I had applied many jobs via Craigslist. Once they get our resume one of them will call you and set up an interview. Interview goes very well and the job we have applied may need less experience and had less responsibility but you will not be considered for the position nor for any future job you have applied for but they will hand you a nice Hardcover
I am really surprised that they are so busy and have no time to reply or response your call or email.

I LOVE LOVE PSG. They are so phenomenal!! The employees there are on point and very organized. Also, they do their very best to get you a job. They are very thorough and they follow up very well. I LOVE this group!

Read the following taken from what they post below every job posting (at the time of this review) very carefully: All PSG job postings are either actual positions we had available at the time of posting and/or are representative of positions we typically fill or expect to fill. So, essentially, they lie to you before they even meet you. Who expects a posting to be anything less than legitimate and bothers to read a disclaimer? Calling them bottom of the barrel may be insulting to those firms that actually and knowingly reside at the bottom of the barrel...I apologize to these firms.

I would have to give PSG 5 stars because of my personal experience that I have had with them recently. I left my first entry level job after college in September of 2017 due to very poor management. In the mist of leaving my job I had struggled with my own self esteem and confidence, to the point in which I couldn't find the confidence to put myself out there and actually commit/ follow through with a job.
Almost 5 months later I found myself sending my application into PSG just to get my feet wet. I actually almost canceled on the day that I was supposed to come in for the initial meeting because I didn't think that it would be worth it. However, once I did, I was paired with a rep by the name of Mike Conte. The paring was perfect! Very interpersonal, professional and genuine! I felt as if our similar backgrounds really helped the process go smooth. In the first meeting, before I walked out of the office I felt comfortable, safe and as if I had began to find my identity once again.
Not only did they indirectly and unknowingly aid me in regaining my self esteem. They also offered me an opportunity to work in there GWP (Guaranteed Work Program) while I was in the process of searching for a job. Which is was perfect for me! I was having a difficult time finding the motivation to apply for jobs. So besides having jobs lined up for me to go out and work; I was also able to get paid and continue my job search from the office. The staff has been nothing but kind and helpful!
I actually really like the fact that there is a team working on your profile, it reassures me that if one rep is backed up that there are others looking for work for you.
I believe that if anyone is having a difficult time finding a job or not sure what they may want to do for work, PSG is the place for them. Especially for those who have recently graduated and are seeking that entry level job.

I went through PSG and landed an amazing position at Boston Standard Company! Leah was amazing! She always kept me updated on jobs and guided me through all my interviews. I would highly recommend anyone looking to land a great job to go through PSG, they are wonderful.

Professional Staffing Group is a great company to use for career searching, job hunting and temporary placements! I received my first correspondence less than 24 hours after my resume was viewed! The process of being placed into PSG and paperwork involved took less than 30 minutes and were easy and seamless. Jessica Mulligan was wonderful in helping me realize what career I want to pursue and has been with me every step of the way. Nicole Cassista has been an instrumental help in my career search as well, by setting up interviews, conducting interview preparation sessions and being available to field any questions that I have. Betsy Petrone has been a wonderful resource inside of PSG, by helping me find temporary work until a more permanent role has been matched with my career goals with the Guarantee Work Program, which allows candidates two weeks of work whether in the PSG office or one day placements at offices that are shorthanded for the day. Overall I would highly recommend Professional Staffing Group to anyone job searching!

PSG literally told me that I had two different jobs lined up only to call me to cancel them both the night before. Then a staff member told me that I was "her first priority" and then I have no heard from them in two and half month.

Do not waste your time.

As soon as I visited the site I was messaged by a rep interested in helping me. His name was Jeff and within ten minutes my resume was uploaded and a PSG rep set up a phone interview with me. Great service, I hope I can find a career from the interview! Thanks PSG, and especially Jeff Weeks for the help!

They post jobs that dont exist just to get your resume on file in case one comes up sometime in the future. False advertising

Very unprofessional & rude. Every time I've come in inquiring about jobs they didn't accept my resume in person. Recruiters here a salesy and care more about making a quick buck than helping you out.

Great resource while I was on my job search. They helped me with my resume and recommended other agencies for me to work with. They cared about helping me finding a role even if it wasn't something they were working on for me. They really care about helping people.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I had an interview with Matt T. and honestly, it felt more like a conversation than an interview. He asked the right questions to help with the search for the best job for me. If you are going to PSG for an interview, make sure to allot 1-1 1/2 hours. There is some paperwork to do before your actual interview (which is optional at that time). Because they want to fill you in the best position right for you, the interview portion is about 35-45 minutes. Overall, great company and awesome staff!

PSG has been a great resource in my job search. The video interview was a very convenient way for them to get to know me better and figure out what kind of jobs I was searching for. So I'd like to put 4 stars because they could make a little bit of improvement, but the people here go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your placement and that they can help satisfy your needs. My job searching strategies have been transforming during my work with PSG, and they have been incredibly supportive and helpful. Mike Conte and Janet Pohli in particular need special shout outs- they both are super professional, helpful, and genuinely care so much about making sure both the job seeker (me) as well as the company is happy. They have been nothing but helpful and accommodating!

It's also super helpful because they have a lot of smaller assignments if you need work for a day or two right now, and they have longer term things that they set people up with as well. It's a good mix. There can also be temp to perm positions.

Some things that could use a little updating: sometimes, when you are working with so many people, they sometimes aren't all on the same page, but for the most part, they do a good job of staying on track.

PSG is super simple and really easy going work space. Everyone is very easy to talk to and if I could do it again or recommend to anyone I definitely will. Thanks a bunch to everyone at PSG.

The whole process from appointment to interview was very smooth and professional. PSG has been the best saffing agency I have ever worked with and has set a higher standard for the industry. This company sucks don't waste your time. Went to Hingham for an interview for a assignment in Quincy I received no follow up my voice mails are ignored. Temporary Agencies ate a waste of time.

Recruiters have strong connections with companies they recruit for, are friendly and dedicated to helping you succeed including reviewing your resume and discussing application strategy. Staff keeps in touch regularly so you know you haven't fallen off their radar.

Mark Gavin was my Customer Care Associate. After we had our initial consultation, he brought me right upstairs because he had what he thought was a great match and introduced me to La Toya Thomas. I'm now past my 30 days probation period at that new job and loving it! Great staff, close commute, and something I really enjoy doing. Definitely found what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

This was the third job agency I had worked with in about a years time while looking for a job. I had conversations with several different members of the PSG team who all seemed seriously interested in finding the best and right opportunity to me. They were very helpful and got me a great job. I am thankful for their service and assistance throughout the process.

I had a great experience working with PSG! As a recent college graduate, it was tough beginning the job search, but PSG (Matthew Thompson in particular) assisted me to ensure that I was performing as best I could in interviews and utilizing as many resources as possible. From working with them for a couple of months, it became clear that the people over at PSG care very personally about the job seekers they are working with and they regularly check in with you about how things are going. They'll give you professional and interview advice, and will answer any questions under the sun that you may have. They also call you with any jobs they encounter that they think you might be interested in applying for, and if you're not interested, they ask for specific details as to why you may not be and how they can improve and better filter what jobs they are sending your way moving forward. I've never seen a staffing agency care so much about their clients. I definitely felt like they cared personally about my job search and that I landed a job I will enjoy!

They have a terrible response rate and they're almost impossible to keep in touch with. If you're not gonna follow up on positions or even respond then don't waste peoples' time.

At one point they did have a great staff but seems they were all recruited by the same employer that employed their firm.... Had issues with payment disbursements towards the end of my temp work. They basically left some of my money off the table and didnt record it properly after me and the company telling them I worked more hours. Unorganized and deceptive.

I had an amazing experience with PSG! Katikie was great to work with. I didn t even have to go to the office because we were able to meet through FaceTime, which was way more convenient.

I have been working with PSG for less than a year but it seems like i have worked with them longer than that. I was placed on assignment in less than a month when i first contacted them and in between i worked with various members of the team who kept in touch on a frequent basis to check in and update me accordingly.
Upon Assignment I worked with Shana K who is the most amazing and efficient person that supported me in any concern that i had. She is very responsive and can be reached at all times, very professional and yet very understanding.
I have had a very fulfilling experience with PSG because of her and other members of her team that coordinated my job assignment.

I strongly recommend this team whole heartedly and I will not hesitate for a second to go back to them for my future assignments!! They are that GREAT!

My experience with PSG was great.I had a long interview with a pleasant,professional team member called Mathew Thompson.He was clear and open to any inquiries I may have. I was impressed with the offices and the number of employees they had.I had more than one opportunity with big names in the area.Mathew kept checking on me every now and then. Before the interviews they give you heads up to what to expect and what to say.This company is really good and their staff members are really organized and well prepared.
I totally recommend them and already did to my circle of friends. Just ask for Mathew and he will take care of you:)
