I called and visited PEG had a great interview, but I was never contacted for any possible employment after calling PEG numerous times. If there was a problem at least let me know something. Very unprofessional.

I was contacted by an employee attempting to recruit me for a position. This particular employee called my current employer! I found this extremely unprofessional, especially considering he viewed my linkedin profile prior to contacting me.

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from Professional Employment Group! Whether you are a recruiter or a contractor, you will be treated unfairly. Management is abusive to their recruiters and will coach them to ask questions that are illegal. There are better agencies to work for, please do not fall for the lies like I did! All of their recruiters quit around the same time because the office is so toxic! Trust me, do your research before working with PEG.

I have been working for PEG for over 3 months and I would recommend them to family/friends in a heartbeat. The recruiting process is fast and easy. I had a job within a couple of weeks and absolutely love the position I am currently in! My recruiter was Mike Contrera, and I wouldn't be where I am now without his help. I've never had to wait for a response to phone calls, emails, etc. He is always willing to help no matter what the situation is! If you are interested in Professional Employment Group or have any questions at all, call and ask for Mike. You WON'T be disappointed!

PEG is far above any recruiting agency I've ever experienced. Emily Martin and Diane Dazey were integral in connecting me with an amazing position. They are both incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and just wonderful at their jobs. The position they connected me with included multiple steps in the interview process. Having Emily and Diane advocating for me every step of the way was so reassuring. Typical recruiters are more concerned with placing people in positions they need to fill, even if it means forcing a square peg into a round hole. PEG cares about the needs of their clients and candidates. They are truly the best in the business! I recommend that anyone on a job search starts by contacting this company.

Waste of time. Went all the way to their office for an in person "interview" and they never even called or emailed about anything. Its been months. Try Robert Half or Express Employment. At least they get you interviews and follow up with you.

My experience with PEG was very professional and straight forward I had applied for a maintenance tech position and Josh reached out to me and setup an interview for me for the following day with the company. I went in for the interview and was offered the job that day. Josh followed up with me that same day to see how the interview went and I told him they offered me the job and he congratulated me. He then proceeded to ensure that I got all the other administrative stuff complete to make sure I would get paid on time. By the end of the week I had everything done and was getting paid like a regular employee. PEG was awesome the entire way through I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new career or job.

I went for an interview with the agency where shortly after I was scheduled to interview for one of the companies they worked with. I went to the interview and I felt it went great. However, about a week passed by and I heard nothing back. I decided to call them and ask how the status was going. They told me at the time things were up in the air because of COVID, which was very understandable. About a month went by and I still hadn't heard anything back, not even to checkup on the status of my job search like other agencies do. I emailed the recruiter I had been in contact with and still heard nothing back, as if they were ignoring me. Its been about three months since my interview and this agency handled everything very poorly.

My experience in working with Mike Contrera has been the most professional contract experience I have had. Mike believed in my skills and abilities and it showed by the opportunities that came my way. Mike is diligent and trustworthy. I felt that he cared about my success and helped me with whatever obstacles I encountered. He was always prompt in returning my calls and kept in touch. He offered feedback and suggestions when I asked for it and was an excellent resource. I was confident with Mike as my representative and he was never less than excellent.

I was contacted by recruiters from Professional Employment Group to fill a technical role with a local company. At first, my recruiter contact was a little pushy. For instance, I received a linkedIn message one afternoon. When I didn't respond, I received an email 30 minutes later. When I didn't respond to the email, I received a call 30 minutes after that. I was working at the time and unable to check LinkedIn or personal email during the day, so the recruiter came off very impatient.

After I phone interviewed with the company, all communication went absolutely silent. In fact, 2 months later, I have yet to hear anything. I must assume I was rejected, which is fine, but I received no follow up. I emailed twice and called once asking for information, but nobody ever responded.

Overall, my experience was very poor with PEG. Their service was impersonal in trying to earn their recruitment money, and then non-existent afterwards. I would not work with their representatives again.

I recently had a very poor experience with PEG in St. Louis. I believe that the experience was more a product of the specific recruiter that I was dealing rather than the office as a whole but, I cannot be sure as my only interaction was with him. However, I would not get a response from voicemails left on the recruiter's office phone in a timely manner. In one instance it took a week and a half to hear back. On another occasion I left four voicemails in one week with no response. I attempted to contact him on the main office line and HR happened to be answering the phone. I was not aware that I was speaking with HR until she made it known after I explained my dissatisfaction with the recruiter's response time. When I finally spoke with the recruiter after that he made comment as to how I was calling in asking for HR and getting him trouble. That was the last straw. I expected to be dealing with a "Professional" company, as their name states. That was not the case.

I went to this agency to apply and scored perfect on my exam and never received a call back and never received an interview. And felt a little discriminated against since I wasn't the right color. How ironic since it is a minority business. This agency is discriminatory, probably against blacks to keep their image "secure" or they are not basing their hiring process off of skill level.

Greetings:

Greetings:
I find it to be disturbing, disgusting, dismissive, degrading, and disrespectful to be discriminated due to my race. Are we STILL unable to overcome? It is overtly clear that Chelsea F. In St. Louis, MO, who contacted me less than one week ago, left me a voicemail to interview for a property manager vacancy, yet failed to return my three phone calls when she learned from my voicemail that I am a well educated, and qualified black lady. It is simply shameful, and I would not have applied had I been aware that you all participate in such blatant, egregious acts against humanity. You can choose to patronize this business if you want; I am only sharing my experience so you can make an informed decision. Thank you kindly.

Warmest Regards

I have been working with Professional Employment Group for one year now. I received a call by Mike Contrera shortly after I had applied for PEG. When I went in for my interview, I was very nervous as I had worked from home for the past 7 years and felt unsure if I would be able to jump back into the corporate world full-time. I told Mike my worries, and he was very reassuring, giving me the confidence that I needed. Mike found a position that was part time and perfect for me. He kept in touch a few times a week while waiting for the background check to clear. I never felt like I was forgotten or disregarded. For the past year, Mike has checked in with me several times to make sure I was happy with my role and if I had any concerns. Anytime I would have a question, I would email or call him and would hear back from him the same day. I have always felt supported by PEG and would highly recommend any one to them.

I'm so happy that I connected with Mike Contrera at Professional Employment Group
(PEG) back in July of 2014. What's amazing about it is that I didn't even have to contact them. They contacted me! Mike found my resume from a job board that I had posted just a week before. He said that after seeing my resume that I would be a perfect fit for a contract position with a reputable St. Louis company. Having never worked with a staffing agency, I was a bit hesitant. Once I walked through PEG's office, I knew I was in capable hands. Mike made the entire process seamless. He updated me on the contract position via phone and email, made sure I knew where I was going on the first day, and answered any questions/concerns I had in a timely fashion. If for some reason Mike wasn't available, his co-worker, Dana Cronin was always willing to help answer questions. Mike has changed my whole perspective on staffing agencies. I highly recommend Mike and PEG if you are actively applying for jobs, want a temporary position, or simply want professional advice! Thanks Mike for everything you've done for me.

I have been working with PEG for a few months now and it has been a great experience. The company operates in a professional manor finding excellent employment opportunities and preparing job seekers for their potential careers. They have a great team that are all friendly and communicate with me frequently. In particular my recruiter Mike Contrera has done an outstanding job. He worked hard on finding me an job that fit me as a person and that would open up potential for career advancement. He also personally contacts me through emails and phone calls frequently to see how I am doing and check if there is nothing else he can do for me. I would highly recommend PEG to my friends, families, and others.

The Professional Employment Group lives up to their name. The staff is very professional and dedicated to matching prospective candidates with employment in an extremely timely manner. They have the expertise and guidance to not only inspire confidence, but a proven track record of results for those of us seeking employment. Everyone there is friendly, the office has inspirational postings on its walls, and they deliver on their inspirational messages by donating to several charities. Each onboard appointment is met with an opportunity to give back to local, meaningful charities. Not only that, they love to work hard for their clients and prospects seeking employment. Their front desk employee, Dylan Brown, is exemplary of their service with friendly kindness, due diligence, a can-do , positive attitude, and a love for not only what he does, but who he' s working with. My overall experience was smooth sailing. Expect communication as soon as you reach out to them, or they you!

I started working with PEG about 4 months ago. The second I walked in for my first interview I was greeted and welcomed by my recruiter, Mike Contrera. He worked with me and took my wants/needs very seriously. A short time later he called me back with a wonderful job opportunity! He still emails me and calls me to check in and make sure all is well and that I am happy with my placement. I would highly recommend PEG to any friend/family member!

I've been with Professional Employment Group for about 9 months now, and I have worked with so many staffing agencies in the past, but I was beyond impressed with the way that the team at PEG, especially my recruiter, Mike Contrera, worked to make sure that I am updated and have everything that I need. I just stumbled across PEG when I was at my lowest of not being able to find that right job, but Mike reached out to me the day after I applied and I was in the office hearing about the positions that they had available within the next few days. Mike doesn't necessarily call everyday, but I wouldn't want to have to check in with someone like I wasn't an adult who would reach out to him when I was ill or taking time off for whatever reason...but what I do know is that if I reached out to him for any reason, he would go above and beyond to help.

I would obviously recommend anyone to PEG and feel confident that the recruiters would put forth their best effort to find the best fit.

I relocated to the St. Louis Metro area and a few weeks after I submitted my resume to PEG I was interviewed and given an assignment in less than a month s time. Mike Contrera remained in constant communication with me and provided support, assistance & encouragement through every step of the process. After long consideration from being a stay at home mom, I've decided to go back to work. I saw professional employment on zip recruiter and I clicked and applied. The next day a young lady by the name of Shelby reached out to me, asked me a few things about myself and then scheduled me a day and time to come into the office. When I got to the office a nice young man by the name of Dylan was very pleasant and fun to be around. He set me up on a computer to complete a series of tests. Afterwards I interviewed with Shelby. Not long after that I was getting a call saying they had a job for me. The whole process took about a week or two.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mike Contrera and PEG for about a year and a half. He has gone above and beyond to assist me with my employment search. I told him exactly what I desired, and he made sure that he found it for me. He never wasted my time attempting to push me into assignments that had no value. I really appreciate the experience he has helped me gain. I will definitely recommend PEG to anyone seeking employment.
