I cannot say enough wonderful things about this studio! All of the teachers are passionate and truly want to help you succeed. What I love most is the fact that the teachers are actually working actors themselves! So they are able to give you advice and guidance based on current, firsthand experience. If you re looking for somewhere to take classes but aren t sure where to go, at least come audit a class for free and check it out!

I worked with Nick, and his classes are very informative. If you need to get a start on your acting career, The Professional Actor's Studio is the place to be. I auditioned for The Price is Right and had the pleasure of putting what I learned to good use. Thanks Nick!!!

I audited a class here a couple weeks ago and, somewhat to my dismay, there was a substitute teacher on the particular day I chose to sit in. The sub s name is Jeff Cole and he is a teacher at Professional Actor s Studio, as well as a professional actor with over 25 years experience and a strong pedigree.

It took very little time for my concern to be assuaged. What I witnessed was an expert level actor sharing his knowledge with a roomful of aspiring to novice actors.

Jeff was patient and encouraging. He made the studio be a comfortable place - a place where you were afforded the opportunity to practice the craft of acting and try new ideas without fear of being embarrassed or made to feel uneasy. Jeff was constructively critical, but never judgmental.

Before the class I was auditing was finished, I knew this was the person under whom I wanted to study.

I had my first class as a full participant this past Monday and what I can honestly tell you is that my passion to pursue acting as a career has been reinvigorated. My desire to learn and grow as an artist has never been higher.

Not only that, but having been working in the film/TV industry for the last two years, primarily as a background actor, I was astonished at how much knowledge I acquired in just one class session. In three hours I learned more about the nuances of the industry than I had in the last couple years.

Right now, there is no better place in the world to be than Atlanta, Georgia if you want to have a career in film and/or television - so much so that I commute two hours one-way to attend class here. If you are serious about wanting to really pursue acting, I believe Nick Conti s Professional Actor s Studio is a great place to do it.

I ve been in the Sunday class with Matt Skollar since January 2018. Even I can see how much I have improved on camera in that time. I have witnessed two of the showcases they put on every 3-4 months, and the caliber of talent is amazing. They always have top rated agents and casting directors attending, including Raven Drummond from Tyler Perry Studios, and a representative from the Fincannon s to name a few. I highly recommend you audit a class!

I ve been at Nick s studio for about a year now. Matt was my teacher before I transferred into Angela s. I ve learned a lot and I love the no obligation. If you want to take a month off you can without penalty. This is a great studio!

I am a represented actress in the Atlanta area with ten years of experience in this industry and in theater! However, I was still not booking the auditions I would have liked too, and realized I still needed to hone my craft in a way that was geared toward the film setting more so than the theatrical style I began with, that's when I went to the Professional Actor's Studio! In the intermediate adult class I have been able to observe and improve my technique on camera and learn from my classmates in order to better present my skills in the audition setting and on set! I finally feel confident in my preparedness for auditions and can't wait to see where my career goes! I will continue to study at the studio as I book more roles!

Ridiculous you offer in person classes for adults but not kids.
Ummm you have never spoken to me first off. I looked your website yesterday and found out you offer in person classes for adults but not kids. Secondly yes I have a lot of 1 star reviews but I also have 5 star reviews too. Sorry that your insecure and can t take criticism. I have every right to post my opinion on businesses that s what google is for so go ahead and waste your time hunny and get some therapy while your at it. Also other studios are offering in person classes.

Great studio, I've trained under multiple instructors here and they all help bring the best out of you inside and outside of your work as an actor. The classes are focused on helping you deliver honest work and drawing the emotion out of you while simultaneously giving you professional insight to the business of acting as well the technical aspects of it. I studied at Nick Conti Professional Actors Studio for almost 4 yrs. He is one of my favorite instructors. Him and all his instructors believe in their students. He is a no non sense instructor and that's what I love about him. Great place to study.

I've been taking courses for several months now (I am a beginner), and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I'm still surprised by how little they charge, given the depth of the learning. The fact that they offer a free audit speaks for itself; Nick has a lot of well-deserved confidence in his teachers and courses. If you take Nick's class, you will WORK. He's very helpful to his beginners, but this is a place for people who are serious about improving their acting skills and learning about the industry (drafting your resume, finding agents, etc.). The teachers here clearly love to teach, and I have found the environment very supportive. The only bad thing is the long waiting lists for classes, but that's to be expected given the high demand. I waited for three months before I got into the class I wanted, but it has been completely worth the wait.

The amount I learned in so short a time was astonishing. The teacher Scott Oakley is truly one of the best I've ever seen. I certainly recommend this school for any level of student.

This acting studio definitely lives up to the hype! I love that I'm able to get quality training during the pandemic with their online classes. I was a bit skeptical at first of learning through zoom, but now I love it and I'm growing every week.

My name is Ryan and I have been taking lessons at this school for about a year and a half. Learning from the beginning I started in the beginner's class, that was not only informative, but also inspirational. Now I have an agent and continue to study at this school every week. The teachers simply know what they are talking about and how to help you improve your game.

OMG! I am so happy that I found this school. There are OVER 150 years of experience collectively within my coaches. It s clean and so professional. I have learned so much by attending these classes. I attended Nicki Conti's Pro Actors Studio over 10+ years ago (14 to be exact) and I still remember the training I received. However, life caught up with me and I had to take a hiatus from the whole acting scene. I ve been going here since of February of 2019 and I personally love it here. My instructor is Matt and his class really help me understand script analysis, getting comfortable on camera, and projecting my voice which was a big struggle for me cause I ve never been a loud talker.

Sat in on an audit for this class and was very pleased at what I saw and heard. What stayed with me the most were two things. One, the look in the eyes of the actors as they listened intently to Nick's feedback then got better as the class progressed and two, Nick's belief that becoming a profession actor is a continuous process, one that even the greatness actors put into practice. I recently audited Nick's Thursday night class. I was incredibly impressed with what a great coach Nick is! He gives very honest but loving feedback to his students, in a way that helps them to authentically connect to their characters. The improvement in their performances from one take to the next, after he provided coaching, was truly remarkable! It's easy to see why his studio is still around after so many years and after so many other studios have closed their doors. I immediately got on the waiting list for Nick's class. He told me it might be a few months before I could get in, but I definitely believe it will be worth the wait.

I audited Mr. Conti's intermediate class a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the level of work of his students. They were asked to do a short scene in pairs with about 10 min. prep time. He then gave them some instruction and direction and asked them to immediately do the scene again and the improvements were very noticeable. His direction and comments were well received and appreciated by the students.

I love it. Best acting class I ve ever been to. If you want to grow and become a true professional actor join this school! I ve been to plenty of schools in Atlanta and this by far is the best!

Love taking classes at the Actor's studio. Great environment, and fun groups to learn the craft of acting whether you have experience with acting or are just starting it out for the first time. Matt Skollar's classes are awesome, been taking them since last November continuing to have fun, and learn as well. I always look forward coming in to classes every week!!
