I had a great experience at the Privacy Electronics store. The staff was very friendly and the DVR's that I got have worked great. The cameras have a very good picture.

Extremely disappointed. I have called and called. No one will answer the phone or return calls. It's a shame since they came as a good recommendation.

I m a private investigator specializing in insurance fraud investigations which requires both overt and covert video documentation of claimant activity. Obtaining covert video documentation of a claimant s activities is an integral aspect of the service I provide to my clients. Recently I was working a case that required covert surveillance and my camera had given up the ghost and I was in a real bind. After calling around I decided to give Privacy Electronics a call and they had a line of reasonably priced covert cameras so I decided to give them a try.

I found the staff to be professional and knowledgeable about the product line so I purchased a camera that I thought would best suit my needs. Murphy was alive and well in my life that day the camera I bought wouldn't hold a charge so the next day I brought it back to the shop. The technician checked it out and acknowledged that something was wrong with it so he pulled another camera off the shelf and that one wouldn't hold a charge either! Thinking a Third one would be the charm no such luck.
The general manager offered me an upgraded camera at no cost. I took the camera back to my office charged it up and tested it and it worked great I was back in business. I went back to work and obtained high quality covert documentation of my claimant at work.

These folks did right by me and would recommend Privacy Electronics to my colleagues and clients looking for a security system to secure their home or business.

The service here was great..... when you first walk in looking for something. BUT !! THEY WILL LIE TO YOU JUST TO MAKE A SALE!!!!
Went in look for something to recover deleted text messages for an iphone. The young lady by the last name of "Sophia" showed us one, We asked her what if the iphone was password protected and she said it will bypass it no problems...... So we purchased it. Took it home to try it and the program said could not access because of phone is password protected. No wonder she didn't give us the box and just put it in a bag. Back of box said that "phone must have password removed". EVEN THOUGH she said no password, no problem!!
Called back to complain about it with her but she wouldn't get on the phone, so I got switched to "TECH SUPPORT" and they said "yeah you have to have the password in order for it to work" WTF !!?!? So I'm out almost $400!!!
SO TAKE MY WORD AND FORM BAD EXPERIENCE, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LYING PEOPLE!! They make you feel very important when you first walk in but be warned!

Nice people when I was able to go but when I want to come buy it they're never open because they're only open between the same hours I work. Like most people I work 9-5 M-F in a totally different area. So how am I supposed to give my business to this place if they can't even have ONE night per week they stay open until 8 or 9??? Sucks.

Purchased a concealed camera from these guys, they charged me $250 for it. When I ran a search on Ebay, the same camera is $15, I phoned up to speak to somebody about returning it within 20 minutes of the purchase and the woman on the phone told me that they couldn't accept a return as it was possible that I had done something illegal with the device. She actually told me that I may have placed it in a public toilet or something else illegal and because of this they couldn't accept it back.

These people are crooks, don't deal with them, I'm speculating, but I would imagine the only good reviews they have received are the ones they've written for themselves.

It is a huge inconvenience to stand in the rain and talk to some woman through a speaker that is so jankey you can barely understand the lady on the other end. You Must make an appointment to go inside and view anything they aren't available to help you at all. I recommend NOT going here it will be a waste of time and money. Don't spend a dime here and for sure don't waste your time it's so not worth the insult of talking to a speaker !

I purchased a 16 Camera System with DVR installed at my restaurant back in 2013. It has been a great theft deterrent & helped me catch a burglar. Privacy Electronics was reasonable with their pricing & sold me a quality product. I highly recommend them!

I ordered some equipment for my parents house. Everything went well. The technician that came out to our house was easy to work with. My parents had a little trouble using the equipment and the staff at Privacy Electronics were very patient with them and willing to answer all their questions.

I would recommend them to everyone.

My relationship with Privacy Electronics started out very good a few years ago. Service calls were tended to quickly. Ian was always very helpful in quickly diagnosing and fixing issues. However, something recently has happened and I get zero response from them. I have submitted service requests and left several messages over the past couple of months. At one point, their phone was temporarily forwarded to some unknown person. Mike's cell was also forwarded to this same unknown person who wanted to know who I was and why I was calling them. When the phones were switched back, my new tech from elsewhere actually received a call back response within moments of his VM message being left, but was directed to a number that was bogus. Something very odd is going on.
