So frustrated with this company. Waited weeks to get an appointment and when I called to find out where the technician was bc they were late they said she showed up already and they tried calling and the door , total lie. Unless she is unfamiliar with operating a doorbell she certainly did not try the door (3 adults were at home at the time in preparation for the visit) and no missed calls OR voicemails. My husband typically travels so he rescheduled his week to be here for this visit, plus we had family come over to help watch the baby so my husband and I could learn about the machine. So frustrating and the only thing they said was so you want to reschedule? No, I want someone to get out here and do what they said they would do the first time. No lie about some half baked attempt to come set up.
Additional feedback, they don t offer after hours appointments. We would have happily paid a significant fee to have someone come out on the weekend or at night but they don t do that. A missed opportunity for a business if you ask me
Jim was extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient with me as a knew patient with a little apprehension about which mask to use for my therapy. I am happy to report that my first night went really well and helped me have a better night of sleep.
I met with Mariam at Prism Health Care Services. She friendly, helpful and very informative. She explained everything about ResMed Air Sense 10 from start to finish, then she had me show her. I had asked her about the ResMed F30i headgear (tubing is snapped on top, instead on mask), that I had seen on YouTube. Mariam had me try it on and I decided to go with that accessory. Meeting was about 40 minutes.
Jim Messina delivered my c-pap and helped me set it up. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. The billing office was much less helpful. They could not tell me what Medicare requires me to do. to insure payment. Since Medicare is probably the largest company they bill, their inability to look up the regulations was surprising and supremely aggravating.
Jim was professional, friendly and made me feel at ease. He's perfect for this role!
Today I got to see Mariam for a problem that I was having and she was so great! SHe knew exactly what I needed and I feel confident again with my program!
Anthony came out to fit me for a new mask. He was great, Covid 19 safe, job well done and the visit was free.

Jim provided exceptional, thorough, and comprehensive set-up and explanation of the CPAP device. He answered all my questions and concerns. He showed me set-up, operation, cleaning, etc in a very simple, straightforward way.

Much improved service. Had a long talk with customer service supervisor who promised better service. My order took only 2 business days to deliver with no errors. Prism also called the day after my order arrived to check the status. They also promised no more than 4 hour turn around time on any voice mail calls. We need to keep them vigilent on providing good customer service.

Short story - the staff is nice, but record keeping and communication within the team is poor. Multiple errors while processing the order.
My case was supposed to be really straightforward. Prism Health Care has been recommended by my doctor to have CPAP dispensed. I have send them a fax with the confirmation over 3 weeks ago I called them at least 3 times thereafter. During every single call I've provided the staff with the cell phone number (doctor's order listed my home #) to call and kept requesting a retail store appointment to pick the equipment up. I've been given the same "we'll call you back" reply.
Finally, at 3.5 weeks mark, I had enough and demanded to talk to the manager. Well, she just informed that... they had the original phone number on file and then again asked when I want a delivery. Yet for the fourth time I told her to schedule a store visit. Then she transfers me to the scheduling person and...(drum roll) he starts setting me up for delivery. And the closet appointment is in 1 week. Let me re-emphasize, after I point out to the MANAGER that there were multiple counts of communication issues she still does not save the best phone number in the system...
I have to note that the original phone number is working and there were no missed calls and/or messages. I feel like it has been used an an excuse.
Back to my original point. Nice staff does not mean the quality service. If the company can't figure out how to save phone numbers and schedule an appointment during multiple calls, I am now very concerned about the quality of services provided by the clinical team. Taking over a month to dispense the equipment is unacceptable, especially given the fact that I have a good coverage and this was an uncomplicated case. I hope that the management is reading this and will take my concerns into consideration.
Experience at Prism was very good. Bob explained everything on how the device works, how to maintain it, and all the options.
Mariam was very informative and took time to explain how the C-pap machine worked and how to clean the device in a clear and precise manner. She also made sure I understood how to order parts and how insurance worked. I was very pleased with Prism.

I found out after waiting for months with my doctor and sleep study to be compliant , I should not be using a nose mask.
Gennie was very patient and took the time to show me how to get this to operate at home. I enjoyed working with her. I was told by Gennie I was compliant twice and each time I was not. I was asked to be compliant again or return machine. Margot fixed this but sent nose mask. Very disappointed in the quality of service.

Prism Healthcare Services were great! They handled everything for me! The instructional class taught by Bob was extremely impressive! Finding out that you have sleep Apnea can be a little scary. Bob made me feel at ease, and explained that its ok to have it, because they have come so far with the equipment and tecnology. I learned alot during the class and feel much more comfortable using my c pap machine for the first time. Thanks so much!
Poor customer service. They do not return voicemails and when you do get someone on the phone, they don't know anything about insurance requirements.

I've been ordering supplies from Prism for years. Delivery is always quick. Medicare approved a new replacement CPAP machine and I went to the Schaumburg facility to pick it up. Bob showed me all the features of the machine and answered all my questions. I highly recommend Prism and their staff.

I m very mixed on my review. The reason I gave a 4 is ONLY because Bob has been amazing! He goes out if his way to help resolve any problem I have had. He is the best! The people scheduling appointments, etc. are just horrible! It takes forever to get a call back. It was so frustrating trying to get in the first time to get a new cpap machine. It took a month for scheduling to call me back even though I called weekly. I m staying with them because of Bob!!!

I probably would not recommend this place due to the RRT. ((Sorry long)) Although I did have a great experience with the person who took my call when I was on my way to Prism Health Care Service, she was kind, helpful and professional.
MY situation is that I have extremely severe OSA. My doctor out of concern, moved up my sleep test because of the urgency. Once I contacted this medical supply co where she had referred me, they were able to get me on the schedule in a week and a 1/2. I was coming to them since I was outside of their travel area. I called the day of the appt and rescheduled due to being ill and I wasn't able to make the 2 hour plus drive. So they got me in about 2 weeks later. I drove their the day of my appt, on my way, traffic got much thicker than I had anticipated. I called ahead to let them know of the situation, I would be at least 15-20 min late. I told them that I understood if they had to reschedule but could she check to see because I was almost there and came from such a long way. I also explained I had a CPAP previously and could I take it to my Dr. to show I knew how to use it if they couldn't see me. The person who answered the phone was amazing, friendly, kind and helpful. She couldn't guarantee anything but would see what she could so so I just continued that direction. Upon arrival I met with a RRT. This RRT has the initials MW. She seemed rushed and irritated. I apologized for my tardiness and tried to explain and also told her that we could go fast, since I am already trained in using a CPAP. She said, "I hope so I already had to cancel my next appt and need to get out of here." She didn't seem to have any compassion for my situation. I continued to try to break the ice with her and she was just cold and abrupt. I have Medicare with an advantage plan and she was telling me the Medicare compliance protocol for Medicare paying for the machine and I told her many times I was aware and understood. I explained that I was going at this treatment with a positive attitude and planned to do the best I could with compliance and that I was confident that I could do it, she said, "yeah that's what they all say." I explained that I had tried CPAP several years ago and was not successful but I was going to give it my all. She did not encourage me, she just seemed to want to tell me that I better comply or I would lose the machine. I asked about the SO Clean machine and she said, "INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER THAT." I told her I was aware of that and just wanted to know the cost. She said, "oh that's $299." I said I might be able to find it online a little less and she said, "you wont find it any less, it is $299." She then again reminded me that I will lose my Cpap if I am not compliant with Medicare. I tried to talk to her about medicare and my Advantage plan and she said, "no it says here you have a medicare replacement, which would be Medicaid, public aid." I explained I didn't have Medicaid I didn't qualify for medicaid and she said that was what she assumed I had. I showed her my Advantage card. She said that's not what it says on my paperwork.
So my conclusion is that it could be one of three things. 1. The RRT was having a really bad day and me being late made it worse and it was coming through in her behaviors. 2. The RRT is just an unfriendly unprofessional unpersonable person. Or 3. The RRT was treating me poorly due to her thinking I was on Medicaid. I am unsure which one it was. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it carried through the entire appt.
My suggestion if you are to go here for a Cpap fitting, that you request to know who will be doing your fitting!

CPAP therapy is not a pleasant experience to say the least. I was more than challenged by trying to get use to wearing a mask at night while sleeping. Miriam followed through with me coaxing and sometimes prodding me into compliance. She went above and beyond to offer new and innovative ways to start treatment. Thanks to Miriam, I've now succeeded and am getting the unobstructed sleep that was sorely needed. Thank you.
Extremely rude customer service. They have collected more money than I really owe. I resolved the issue by talking to several people and settle the final payment... but to my surprise I receive another due letter for just $22.88. When I reached out their service - ruthless behavior and rude responses.

In the land of bad healthcare companies this one is literally the worst. Been trying to schedule CPAP with them for months. Finally they schedule I take off from work and they never show up. On top of it they LIE that they came and no one was home and that they left VM. Of course there is no VM. Try to avoid at all cost. Ask your healthcare provider and your insurance to go with another company even if it costs more.

This corporate response below is exactly the problem. Whoever wrote this did not even read what I wrote and just repeated the mantra they were told earlier. There is only one address. When we talked to the manager earlier today she mentioned the correct address and phone number. Of course there was no VM even though both your manager and you mentioned it a few times. Maybe if you try repeating that a few more times magic will work and VM appears on my phone.
Manager ended up calling me 5 times after these reviews. I called back and left a VM but haven't received a call back from her. I called your customer care line and left a VM there as well. Needles to say haven't heard back.
I am done working with you. Don't bother calling me or my family anymore. I'll take my business somewhere where my time and money are more respected.
Miriam Webber did an excellent job. She's very knowledgeable and a very pleasing personality. I highly recommend her for any needed information or questions that anyone may have. She listened intently and answered every question that I had.
I have never had a bad experience with Prism Healthcare Services. They've always been very helpful. I've heard horror stories about other CPAP Healthcare Services and feel lucky that my sleep Dr advised me to use the Prism Healthcare Services.

I had a prescription from my doctor stating to replace my current mask and they refused because they needed a sleep apnea test again for the second time

Nonexistent customer service for CPAP supplies. Phone tree waiting-hell ends up in voice mail which Prism did not return. Called back after waiting out Prism's two hour callback window. Finally reached an order taker after several two-hour callback windows. That was two weeks ago and have not received the supplies I ordered. Prism charged my account six days later, still no supplies. So far Prism has not posted anything to my medical insurance. Contacted them by e-mail 11 days after placing the order, no response. Cannot pay for something I did not receive. At 14 days after placing the order and with no response from Prism, I asked my sleep doctor to recommend another supplier.

Bob explained the machine and how it worked very well. He repeated when he saw I didn't get it and then had me try each and every step. He was patient, knowledgeable, and considerate. I was dreading going in, but it really was just fine.
Very incompetent customer service. I had a problem with my C pap machine with leaking and each time I called I got a different answer to the issue that contradicted the one before. They offered to have one of their therapist call me.. It took almost 3 weeks to get that call. What they don't seem to understand In their ignorance of their products and procedures Is that they are messing with my health and well being.

The conversation myself & Jim messina had about the cpap unit was like we were old friends that had got together. Everything he said I understood & to the point.
We were very fortunate to have Gennie, a respiratory therapist, in our home today. She made adjustments to my head gear and CPap machine. Gennie immediately recognized the problem. She corrected the problem by reordering and returning the incorrect size pieces which were sent to our home. I appreciated her hands on approach of fitting my headgear. I have never received such in depth information and care from a home care therapist. I know my wife is most appreciative of her corrective work, by being able to sleep in quietness once again. I am thankful and grateful for her excellent work. 5 stars are inadequate to indicate her superlative work.
Anthony met with me outdoors for Covid precautions, wore a mask and gloves and was very respectful of my protective concerns. Explained things thoroughly and made sure I understood everything about the fitting and my options for my needs if they change. Patient, friendly, very professional and personable. I highly recommend.

I've had an extremely difficult time trying to get a basic scooter. My insurance company has paid for a scooter. A scooter was delivered to me but a piece broke on it the next day. After a little back-and-forth I was given a loaner scooter. This was in July. It is now November. I cannot get anyone to return my phone call. I have yet to get a new scooter that my insurance company paid for. Very frustrated and disappointed.
