I've been using Priority Title and Escrow to handle my title searches and loan closings for my clients since they've opened their doors which has got to be over 14+ years now. We have had hundreds of successful closings together over the years. I recommend Priority Title and Escrow for the following reasons: 1) once they receive a title order, the search/binder is in within less than a week. Other title companies typically don't send us what's needed until we're within days of closing and if there are title issues, our closing ends up getting delayed because they (the other title companies) waited on getting the title search in. Who wants that? 2) They're straight forward on their fees and their fees are very competitive. You can go onto their website and run a quote based on the purchase price amount and loan amount and a quote is generated within seconds. No nonsense, no junk fees. 3) There is always someone available to close my deals and they're always accommodating of my clients and their schedules. Need to close at 8am? Done. Need to close at 6pm? Done. 4) During this pandemic, they were one of the first to embrace an e-Closing and RON (remote online notary). Many title companies are still not adapting to the times and embracing technology. 5) The people - they're friendly, they're knowledgeable, and they're quick to respond. The real estate life is stressful enough. Love being greeted by happy people. Thank you for all that you guys do and I will keep sending business your way!!!

Priority Title was recommended by my mortgage company and what a great company they are to work with. My initial contact with Priority was Melissa Wivagg (EVP of Sales). She was highly responsive, very personable and an pleasure to work with. The quote was easy to understand and they explained any questions I had. I also worked with Refinance processor Elizabeth McKenzie who was also great.

Their costs were a few hundred less than my local Title Company and they provided the same services. The whole process was 100% hassle free. I highly recommend this company for Title Service and the best part is that operate in all 50 states.

Absolutely wonderful to work with. They even accommodated getting a mobile notary for my clients since they are about 1 hour away from the office. I appreciate great title companies like this being a Mortgage Loan Originator myself. Thank you all!

I had a failed deal with this company. The seller chose this title company and offered me a benefit to use them for the closing. The seller approved the refund of my earnest money deposit. The deposit was held by priority. I gave Gabrielle at priority my wire info. The contract was terminated on 2/17. I asked Gabrielle for my deposit back. On 2/18 she said her company would not scan and email me a check for the refund of earnest money, she was going to check and see if they would wire me the funds instead of mailing a check. She did not respond until I followed up with her on 2/19. She then said they would wire my earnest money back to me. I sent her wire instructions. No wire was sent 2/19. On 2/22 I followed up with her, letting her know I did not receive a wire on Friday. She said the wire was rejected on Friday (never told me this, just waited for me to chase her down). She shared with me the wire info, they sent it to the wrong account! She stated they did not use my wire instructions and they sent it to another account that they had on file for me???? I shared my wire info with her AGAIN and hoped to see the wire. No wire came in on 2/22, and no follow up from Gabrielle AGAIN! On 2/23 I asked her AGAIN, what was going on. Her statement now is that they need to make sure the WRONG wire they sent did not go through before paying me! They screw up, try to blame someone else, take NO responsibility for their actions, and make me wait and chase them to do what they should have done last week! Update, after posting this review, a very polite person from the title company called me and resolved the situation the same day

Priority Title filed an erroneous deed on the prop...

Priority Title filed an erroneous deed on the property next to me which resulted in a 10ft encroachment on my property and I can no longer build a new construction home because I don't have a big enough lot now. We both had title insurance and it was a pure waste. The title insurance company has dragged this out 9 months. The title clerk did not do a 50 year search as required, because if she did she would have caught the error. While the staff is nice, the error has cost my family to lose a house and everyone is turning their back like oh well. So be careful if you choose to close with this company and make sure you get what you paid for. This has been a costly lesson to may family and I do not wish this bad experience on anyone.

Overall extremely poor communications. The burden was on me to keep the process moving along. Closing itself went well. Recently I received a check for "Excess Cash to Close - Recording Fee Overage". I went to cash the check and it was returned to me by the bank for "Stop Payment" and a $15 fee was charged to my account. When I called Priority they said the check was sent to me by mistake and that they tried calling me to let me know. If they called, they never left a message and I was also told that they didn't have my email address. That was strange since almost all our communications was by email. It felt like I was being blames for not picking up my phone when they called and they are not going to do anything for the $15 fee I was charged by my bank. If you have a choice, I recommend that you do not use them.

I deleted my last review because the response I received was not about the review.

Priority Title & Escrow company refuses to see their mistake, despite the proof I have provided. My husband's name was recorded incorrectly. I'm NOT referring to the underlined name, which was my initial concern. I'm referring to how it was recorded, and it's now reflected on public record. It is incorrect, and a simple search of the public record will confirm it. He doesn't even have a middle name, and I made sure to explain this to the processor via email, which she acknowledged.

Example using a random name:
First Name: John
Last Names: Smith Harris (paternal & maternal)

Recorded: Harris, John Smith

The response I've gotten is: "your husbands name was not erroneously recorded and everything is as should be" and "if you want it changed we will have to charge a fee." If it is correct as the company says, what is there to change? Why do I need to pay the fee AGAIN to CORRECT the error resulting from Priority's mistake?

The company has suggested that I seek outside legal counsel. Unfortunately, I'm quarantined, and I'm leaving on deployment, which means I'm not available to meet with a real estate attorney until I return.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
