Nice place for tourists to have a bite to eat, before, during or after the visit to the prince garden and / or the martini tower.

We (two ladies and one man) had a great afternoon at the outside terrace enjoying snacks and drinks. All was of great quality and the service was more than excellent. A great place to spend a couple of hours.

Already often eaten and always delicious dishes with super quality and very neat service. Highly recommended.

Love love love. Will come back for more and longer stay.

A very cosy and comfortable place to stay for a night, dine or simply have a drink. The staff is very correct and friendly.

We had a lovely high tea with scones, quiche and sweets. The Wauters were friendly and the service was good.

A hotel, brasserie and restaurant experience that is very good but does not reach the top level. A four-day customer experience that could have delivered much more. So much quality of people and services, but not willing to offer an integrated experience.

Fantastic hotel! You will be pampered from arrival to departure. Nice building in prime location with prince garden, terrace and valet parking.

Always very nice and friendly staff. Might be a bit more of an up-tight place, which I think is really nice every now and then. The chef prepares the food really nice with great options on the menu. The wine collection to compliment the food makes this a great place to have a fantastic dinner.

Had lunch outside on the terrace on a busy Saturday afternoon. Terrace is spacious with sun and shade spots. Lunch card has a lot of choice with Dutch favorites and some international influences. The food quality is good, portions are generous. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Nice location just outside the busy Grote Markt area.

Best in good weather (the outside is very comfortable, while the inside can be formal and very quiet on colder, darker days). Very tasty menu and friendly service!

Our seventh visit and wonderful, as always. There is no airconditioning (it's a monument) but with the fans on it was alright. Rooms have so much atmosphere and are really nicely appointed. I really couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in Groningen.

Beautiful hotel, nice staff and a delicious breakfast. Parking is somewhat difficult if you do not use the valet parking. But still 5 stars because it is so beautiful!

Fantastic location. Because we have had a son who is in the UMC Groningen for a long time. We were offered a high tea by the prinsenhof. Super sweet that they made this possible for us. UMCG and prinsenhof thank you for allowing us to enjoy this difficult time. Greetings Jos and Paireen.

Nice location, beautifully renovated, but a bit too spacious, so you can feel lost in the enormous space. Nice terrace, good wine, food not special. For the more well-to-do, older hospitality visitor.

Historic building with a sophisticated flair. Hotel and gastronomy meet their high standards of a 5 star hotel, at least for Groningen the Prinsenhof is the best choice. Food and service are what you expect: consistently good. The price / performance ratio is right, so anytime again.

We came for a high tea at 11:00 am but that was not the right time (namely from half past 3. Yet we tried to make something tasty for us which we found a nice customer-friendly arrangement .. Seats and furniture can as far as I am concerned, more intimate and comfortable with slightly larger tables

the old stadholder's court; modernly restored with preservation of old details, situated on the beautiful baroque garden with berceaux of beech and rose bedrooms on one side and the beautiful Martinikerkhof on the front. very pleasant service, good food.

Beautiful hotel, restaurant and a little cafe in a small park next to the Martini tower. The gate is already a piece of history, but inside the history comes much more to the fore. It is certainly not small. Hotel is straight and to the right is the restaurant section. Where the restaurant is located is an old chapel or church. Very stylish and modern. And very cozy. The service is excellent ....
