My dear husband spent the last two weeks of his life there, in beautiful surroundings; with excellent care and attention; lovely food and refreshments at any time; complimentary therapies and much much more. Even family and friends were given a warm and friendly welcome each time we visited.nothing was too much trouble.

Our beloved daughter Anahita spent the last week of her life in the care of outstanding nurses at Princess Alice. There are not enough words to describe the quality of care and the compassion shown to her, and to us, during the very worst moments of our lives by all the staff at this outstanding hospice. Our daughter passed away peacefully surrounded by love.

Princess Alice Hospice: Providing Compassionate Care and Support for Families

Princess Alice Hospice is a leading healthcare provider located in Esher, Surrey. The hospice has been providing compassionate care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses since 1985. The hospice is named after Princess Alice of Athlone, who was the patron of the hospice until her death in 1981.

The hospice has a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who provide expert care to patients with complex needs. The team includes doctors, nurses, therapists, social workers, and volunteers who work together to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

At Princess Alice Hospice, the focus is on providing holistic care that addresses not only physical symptoms but also emotional and spiritual needs. Patients are treated with dignity and respect at all times, and their families are supported throughout their journey.

The hospice offers a range of services to meet the diverse needs of its patients. These include:

Inpatient Care: The hospice has 28 beds for patients who require round-the-clock care. Patients receive individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs.

Day Services: Patients can attend day services at the hospice where they can participate in activities such as art therapy, music therapy, relaxation sessions or simply enjoy some time out from their usual routine.

Community Services: The community team provides support for patients living at home or in nursing homes. This includes symptom management advice as well as emotional support for both patient and family members.

Bereavement Support: Princess Alice Hospices' bereavement service provides ongoing support for families following the loss of a loved one.

Education & Training: As part of its commitment to improving end-of-life care across Surrey & South West London region; Princess Alice Hospices' education department offers training courses on palliative care topics such as pain management or communication skills which help healthcare professionals improve their knowledge base around end-of-life issues.

The staff at Princess Alice Hospices' have extensive experience working with people facing life-limiting illnesses such as cancer or heart disease; however they also provide specialist palliative care services for those living with other conditions like Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson's disease.

One unique aspect about this organization is that it relies heavily on donations from individuals within its local community rather than government funding alone; this allows them greater flexibility when it comes down to tailoring patient-centered approaches towards end-of-life-care.

In conclusion,

Princess Alice Hospices' mission statement reads "to provide excellent palliative/end-of-life-care through teamwork". Their dedication towards achieving this goal is evident through every aspect of their work - from providing high-quality medical treatment plans tailored specifically towards each patient's individual requirements right down to offering bereavement counseling services post-treatment completion.
If you're looking for an organization that truly cares about your loved ones during difficult times then look no further than Princess Alice Hospices'.
