I had the good fortune to be assigned Amina Khatun for my first property purchase, who was incredibly helpful, communicative and professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Pleasant to deal with, ultimmmately both sale and purchase were completed with thoroughness. I have to give less than 5 stars as it took months to discover than the vendor had no right to agree the sale as he had not even applied for probate 6 months into the transaction. Something that needs to be added to the checklist. I would certainly use P-E again.

Please don't use this company for wills, trusts and probate. My father opened a discretionary trust after he was left seriously disabled following an accident which later took his life. He thought his money was in safe hands with this company. Well 6 years later the matter still isn't settled (despite many promises) and now even their complaints department are ignoring me. They haven't shown me any statements of the accounts in 6 years despite my asking every time I contact them and are refusing to tell me how much they have charged. You have no protection with this company and once they have your money they couldn't give toss about you. I would like to add that even my father despite his severe disability was also being ignored by them when he was alive when he was asking for his own money or for a current statement. So unless you like not knowing where your money is coming or going and enjoy using a company that frequently uses the excuse "sorry I had other urgent matters to attend to" (including personal I might add) then please go elsewhere.

I gave 1 star because my case was thrown out because the council pulled the highways act 1980, which I have found a flaw in the wording where is does not state personal injury and a new solicitor I have working my case who specialises in overturning this section. she said im right their wording is not correct, for the defence they are using it for which is personal injury. My case handler was falling over his words trying to explain it to me and I felt like I was being fobbed off, as their costs would have exceeded the 25 per cent charge they give, well they missed out on that, because I will win this claim, my injuries are significant and the council did send me a email admitting liability which my new solicitor will point out in court, because she said they will throw the highways act at us again but this time she said they will not be able to use that as a defence, because she said she can beat it and always has done! she also said im clever noticing the wording of the legislation is not worded properly for the personal injury claim im making as it only refrences to damage and potholes, which make sense with damage to vehicles via potholes, she said she will look that up further, as for prince evans avoid at all costs, not going to disclose who my solicitor is but she is well known! and bit expensive

Really bad service, unprofessional , not recommended. Really slow to act have to chase them them all the time for them to act. Chose a more professional Sollicitors firm and avoid Luke Wheeler at all cost!"

22 months ago I was knocked off my bicycle by a lorry and run over by it. I suffered serious life changing injuries. I was recommended by a barrister to approach Gary Smith regarding seeking compensation. I had never been involved in the world of compensation, so was nervous and apprehensive about what would happen. These solicitors just see you as numbers. Typical sales guys..good at the start...heartless and negligent towards the end. I will be getting SRA to follow up the level of service received as they surely lack knowledge.

I had used Prince Evans Solicitors for sale of my shared ovnership property and forward purching of the next home. They do have very reasonable rates however the whole process, even though it was a straight forward one has proven to b a total niusance. It had taken just over 5 months from the offer being accepted to us moving in. The solicitor dealing with my case was James Folly- sounded very professional and knowledgable on the phone yet had no urgency, was hard to get hold of and very inconsistent with updates. I would not recommend nor use them again.

I used Prince Evans to sell my shared ownership apartment. It took 8 months to complete and even afterwards they were still chasing me for paperwork they forgot to do. And absolute disaster I will be reporting to Legal Ombudsman.

The only reason it's not 5 stars is because she did't seem to know what was necessary with Homeground but the same solicitors dealt with our neighbour previously (though a different solicitor within the firm) and they had the same issue so you would hope that that information would have been shared. The conveyancing team dealt with a really complex lease extension with patience and professionalism the whole way through, escalating issues to a Partner quickly and keeping us well informed throughout. Excellent to deal with, highly recommended.

I was unfortunate enough to choose these local solicitors to deal with a commercial lease renewal and could never really work out whether they actually had a pulse. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Right at the end I received four invoices all from different departments, two of which I never knew existed. And don't even try complaining to their professional body. They will stitch you up too. Avoid like the plague. Nice little earner for them.

Absolutely furious. My partner called today to discuss our house purchase only to be greeted by a extremely rude member of staff, not professional in the slightest I expect more from a solicitors. For the lady in question to then hang up the phone, leaving nothing resolved!! She is lucky it was my partner and not me I would of been just as rude

Horrendous service - no sense of time and client care. Even a single star is way more than they deserve. My transaction got delayed by almost a month incurring additional costs due to their lack of responsiveness and lack of knowledge in legal matters. When it came to accepting accountability of the situation, they soon went off radar. Avoid at all costs, not a professional team and most likely run by Scam artists claiming to be professional solicitors. 0 out of 100 rated.

We used prince evans to help us purchase a flat. If my experience is anything to go by, I would strongly advise avoiding this company. My 2 main reasons are : - We had a 10 week deadline for moving so that if it took longer than this amount of time we would face several large bills. Prince-evans assured us that they would do everything they could to meet this deadline for us. Ultimately, they took our non refundable money straight away, then 7 weeks later prior to actually starting any work they then increased the price of the task by 23%. - There were several situations where we waited several weeks for the solicitor to get information required for us to exchange contracts. We were assured each week that our solicitor was doing everything that they could . In one situation, after 5 weeks of waiting, we managed to get the name of the company that our solicitor was waiting on. After a bit of research, I managed to make a few phone calls and got the information within 24 hrs. It turns our my solicitor hadn't even picked up the phone, all they'd done was send an email.

I instructed Prince Evans in relation to a personal injury claim. My designated solicitor, Gary Whitaker, was professional, transparent, clear and concise. Gary would call and e-mail me with material updates during the 18 month process, and achieved a successful outcome. The service was 100/100, and I would highly recommend their personal injury team.

As it has been 40 years since I last purchased a property I was especially glad of the thoroughness of Prince Evans in raising all the issues that might need consideration. But since also like most clients we had a timescale to work to and therefore eventually needed to give priority to meeting dedlines even if not every detail was 'sorted' . For that reason I was grateful to have responsive solicitors who understood our requirements. A year ago we experienced a similar combination of thoroughness and responsiveness when we sold our last house.

We are trying to buy a house through this firm. Things have been mostly good up to now, and I will write more when we are there. Now that the dust has settled: I originally wrote a somewhat negative review. My husband had a phone call from the firm saying that the review would be treated as a complaint and our work would be stopped while it was investigated - that is, if we didn't withdraw the negative review there would be a go-slow on our house purchase. I re-wrote the review to say nothing much and forgot about it for a while. Now that the house purchase is done, I am free to say what I think: One would be wise to use a different firm.

POOR SERVICES !!!! Unfortunately I have not received any changes in my case since July 2019 until now,(6 months ) They charged me for the same questions few times , They seem to be charging and in some cases over charging for matters that aren't relevant to my case !!!!! I have to chase them at all times in order to get some answers and if I don't , they will NEVER follow my requests on time !!!!!!!! Always delay, I haven t received any update, they have asked me the very same questions over and over again!!! It s not acceptable, We are just turning around without any changes to the file since first day ( July 2019) I have paid too much money for nothing and I need to say to stop with dealing with my case and I don t want to continue with them , ****I will not recommend this firm to anyone without any hesitation*** POOR SERVICES

Have used Prince Evans on a number of occasions over last 20 years. Recently discovered they made a huge error on a Power-of-Attorney process which became unforgiveable when I realised that they refused to take any responsibility even though it was clearly their error. A simple error but with significant consequences. Now going thru a Will documented over 9 years ago and have spotted a wording error which is not serious but showed a lack of care and professionalism on their part. Hope you are able to have better luck with them.
