Great natural harbour, well protected from all directions, except East. Nice to see so many interested in critical bird count.
We arrived around 10am to see the bird banding in late August. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff let us and our children get a close look at about 10 beautiful birds. Afterward, they allowed the children to release them carefully and respectfully into the wild. Trails are well groomed....nets were in place to temporarily capture the migrating birds...mostly Warblers for the purpose of banding. Very educational and peaceful. We plan on returning to see the Owls in October.
Great place to go for all who enjoy nature and scenery.
Great views and a few nice hikes along the beach. Nothing too long. Worth it for the drive alone. A few really nice places going up on the road so I'm sure there's more development to follow.
Full of ticks and jumping fleas. Stunted vegetation. The place did not send dreams. But it's nature, it's not the way to please us
Not what I expected. Was hoping to
hike and bird watch, nothing much really to see.
Incredibly beautiful spot, with so much wildlife! Make the effort to come here. High quality talks, and knowledgeable staff.
There is not much here. It is a long walk to the light house. There is an outhouse. It is a popular spot for accessing the water. The beaches are river stone or slabs of limestone. There are signs posted, warning of tick infestations and there is wild parsnip everywhere. Be well prepared when you visit.
This is one of my favourite places anywhere ...shhhhh...let's keep it a secret
Lovely people doing a great job! Well groomed trails and a beautiful area.
Amazing song bird feeding area during migration. If you visit early in the morning, you may experience bird banding.
I love how simple it is, and how wildlife friendly it is! We went with my son's class for a school trip and it was amazing. The kids all had fun and we learned a lot of things about wildlife !
Lovely spot. Better to visit during bird migration in the spring when there are more birds and fewer leaves. Saw a bunny though!!
Beautiful area lots to see nature wise and those birds are stunning. I'm a county resident and I was thrilled to be able to see such amazing sights from another angle of this beautiful county called Prince Edward. It is a must see so are the walking trails so don't pass this gem by.
Good quiet and calm beach to sit at and enjoy some relaxing time.
Beautiful. Can't be beat. Excellent for a walk. Stay quiet and enjoy the abundant wildlife.
Wild and peaceful on weekdays
Water views are amazing. Bird banding display spring and fall.
Danger ticks with lyme my dog was ther last summer got a tick and now has lyme no corona yet just lyme
Very disappointing experience. We got there and the place looked abandoned. There was no staff at all (it was a Tuesday morning) There s nothing to see. there is a warning to be aware of ticks carrying Lyme disease.. We got there and turned right around. Hope y all have a better experience than we did but we would never return to this forsaken place
Beautiful scenery, good parking at end, close to water, easy to get to, good for bird watching.
Great staff with tons of information about the tracking of the birds
Quiet place at the end of a long unpaved road. Good if you timred it with the migrant birds. Not much to see off season though, its windy and cold, no beach area, and can't see much without binoculars. Beautiful water color, sea blue and green, on a sunny day.
Loved it, so much to see and the trails are great...
Great activity for kids and bird lovers. People are knowledgeable and patient!
A place where nature and exploration go hand in hand. Amazing place to visit and take it all in. Crystal clear waters and blue skies had the birds chirping all around us. Great place for exercise for the whole family, seen people with dogs too. Lots of frogs and snakes by the water so it made it extra fun for the kids.
Prestine, peaceful, clear blue water. Must visit if you want to relax by the water and don t need too many humans near by !
Stunning area for a walk but also the best place to swim in the County to avoid the Sandbanks crowds!
Soooooo beautiful. If you are looking for a little peace this is the place.
