Good and comfortable hotel, very clean. Spacious rooms maybe need a touch of a renovator, but beds and pillows and aromatic bedsheets are assuring deep and calm sleep. Room service is active twice a day! Breakfast is very good, although we missed more Greek specialties. Hotel restaurant is very good. Pool on the top is fantastic and view amazing. Position of the hotel is excellent and you may reach most of city attractions easily, not to be stuck in a rush. Cabs are by the hotel doors. The only weakness was impolite and nervous receptionist, wrong person on a very important position.
Excellent overall experience! Beautiful and quiet room with view, great breakfast buffet and friendly staff!! I recommend you to also try their shampoo, smells like coconut and summer vibes.
I always enjoy visiting their Penthouse 21 pool bar on the rooftop. Service is always polite, efficient and friendly. Great views, nice terrace, clean drinks. All of their cocktails are sweet -even the ones that are not supposed to be like the Bangkok Tale- so, if you do not have a sweet tooth, stick with the classic cocktails (and hope they do not turn extra sweet too).
Very happening hotel, super clean fantastic service great roof top pool bar/restaurant. The views are spectacular. I highly recommend President Hotel Athens to family and friends. Definitely staying here on my next visit.

Not the best experience I only came here on the recommendation of a plastic surgeon in Athens. A perfectly adequate 4 star hotel however it is at least 3km away from the major attractions or the main shopping district of Athens. I left two nights before check-out as I had been placed in a room by the stairwell, and staff pantry.
This all because at check-in the young lady at Front Desk made a false assumption about me.
After many travels I have learned the hard way the high price of being flashy having been one too many times the victim of fraud, and having had handbag snatched, my IPhone stolen at an airport so I use the cheapest handbag bag that fits everything when I fly including a laptop
and my cheap phone when I am abroad.That certainly doesn't mean I payed any less for my stay! The front desk failed to notice my business class stickers on my luggage as she was too busy aghast that I got a cheap phone!
I left and booked into a five star because I strangely enough don't ever encounter such nonsense in five star hotels. Maybe because they know that the patrons are not the Tiktok and Instagram generation who show everything but in reality have nothing.
I visited President Hotel as a non-guest but instead to visit the rooftop bar which is supposed to be one of the best in Athens. The rooftop bar is open to all and it is indeed breathtaking. The bar is at an incredible height providing amazing 360 views of all of Athens.
The bar is rarely crazily busy and has cosy sofas and seating for a great experience.
Compared to other bars, the drinks here can be considered expensive but still cheaper than London!
Have stayed at this hotel a few times and have a holiday booked for April. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. Firstly the staff are always welcoming and friendly, nothing seems to be too much trouble. My favourite part of this hotel is the roof top bar/ pool area. Amazing views and great cocktails. I find myself relaxing a lot at the roof top bar with family, generally enjoying the sun, food and great atmosphere.
Initially got a very small room with the air conditioner cooling too slow. Then requested for a larger room which was better and way more comfy. Stayed at the same hotel 20 years back and not much has changed. Loved the hotel breakfast buffet, restaurant meals, pool and their helpful staff. Even the hotel location is perfect for grocery stops, plenty of pharmacies, coffee shops and salons around the place.
