I used them for a six month assignment in NYC. Rates were fair and service was excellent. Had to change apartments because the A.C. was too noisy and Megan got it done within 1 day and got me help to move my bags. Great experience all around thanks

Horrible experience. Last-minute change in check-in dates, apartment wasn't ready by the check-in time I was given, PCH wanted to charge **me** for holes - from pics and mirrors hung by **their** furniture vendor - in the walls that had to be patched and painted, etc. Never, ever again.
This place has a really cool ambiance and a nice sized bar with TV's for sports. The Bloody Mary was solid and the food was pretty filling. They have what seems like a private room in the back for private parties or birthdays. I would recommend if you're in the area!
Staying in one of their units in Scottsdale Arizona. Unit was misrepresented. Cheap apartment with cheap furniture. Ice maker doesn t work. The floor was absolutely filthy. Host is hard to get ahold of. I do NOT recommend anyone use this company.
Preferred Corporate Housing has a team of friendly, motivated people dedicated to making a big transition comfortable. I love their attention to details and personalization. I highly recommend their services for any company or group that has temporary housing needs - they're the best!!!
A TRUE DISASTER OF A STAY Let s start with check-in. As we re driving across the country, we tried to contact the host (Kia) multiple times. We alerted her when we would be checking in & she failed to communicate any information to us about how to check in. Finally, when we were about two hours away from the unit, we heard back from Kia with instructions. We let that go sometimes people just lose track of time. We check in & didn t mind the actual apartment. It wasn t anything crazy, it was just what we needed for an 8 week stay. Outside of the general smell of the unit, it was fine. Nothing more, nothing less.
One of the main plans while out here was to buy a new car to replace our leased one (that we just drove across the country.) We buy the car about a week into our stay & absolutely LOVE it. Well, it was perfect until the second night we had it our neighbor backed right into the bumper & damaged the front. The next morning when we noticed the damage I immediately called the leasing office. They ask me to come in to discuss it. I was met with a defensive administrative assistant who was refusing to help, until his manager, Louis, came in. Louis had me come into his office & discuss further. I explain the situation & ask to have the security camera footage reviewed so we can let our insurance know. Louis claims the cameras they normally have aren t in service. There are no security cameras anywhere on the premises. I then ask him to contact the person in the spot next to us (who hit us) and told them to reach out to us. Later that day, we get a phone call from our neighbor. He meets us outside & we go over the situation. He profusely denies hitting our car, even though we have matching scratches, pictures, and no other alibi. After days of going back & forth, we decide to let our insurance deal with the situation which ended up being uncovered & us having to foot the bill. After about a week, our neighbor calls us & says he ll pay for it but he didn t do it & continuously claims he didn t. Obviously, a lie.
After that disaster, we ask Kia to reserve us a garage on the premises so we can avoid parking in the general parking. She, again, does not respond for days. Once she does, we never heard anything about the garage again. She then lied to us about talking to the leasing office about the car being hit & refused to do anything to remedy the situation.
Keep in mind that all happened in the first 14 days of this stay.
We end up buying our own Ring camera & attaching it to the overhang above our car. We saw a lot of activity around the cars but nothing else happened again.
We asked Kia to extend an extra two weeks since our Nursing assignment was extended. Kia obliged (after about 3 days of no response) and charged us $1,500. Absolutely atrocious rent gouging.
The Air Conditioning unit was effective, if only it didn t smell like sulfur and eggs for the first 10 minutes it was on. Just a nightmare.
It must have been maintenance season because we had no less than 5 requests from the complex asking for entry to the unit. The first time was a normal inspection no problem. The second time was because the building had roaches a huge problem. They just wanted to set traps we let them in. Then, they asked us to remove all of our belongings for the entire day so they could inspect further absolutely not. Kia, I bet you can guess here, was absolutely useless AGAIN. They refused to refund us for the atrocity of these incessant maintenance visits.
Finally, towards the end of the stay, our deadbolt broke & we were locked inside our own unit. We had to climb over the porch balcony just to get to work on time. Maintenance didn t answer our calls & I had to wait for 3 hours until I could get out & lock our unit.
Overall, I will NEVER stay with a PCH Serviced or Greystar operated apartment again. This has been a true disaster & I hope the next tenants have a better stay.
Working with Preferred has been nothing but flawless. They are always quick to respond and their attention to detail to ensure the best experience possible is something that really stands out. I would recommend them to anyone.
