Prairie Fire Restaurant Review

Not up for the hype. The only cool room here is the hands on room upstairs. The rest of the facility is small with not a whole lot to see. I thought it'd be more about prairies and fires, but there seems to be no one theme in this museum.

Obnoxiously trendy, definitely caters to those afflicted with affluenza. So very Leawood.

Nice, upscale shopping center with a nice museum and an awesome movie theater.

It was amazing honestly.
Went to see John Wick 3 with my best bro and it was a gr eww at experience, we messed up and got the love seat theater, but hey what better way to watch an action packed movie?

My only complaint if any is that they needed more people working the Bar, literaly tuck someone 10min to finally great us.

Beautiful Museum. Good local paleontology story. Excellent changing exhibits. Super helpful staff.

Went to kiss bar and grill. Food,drink and service was outstanding. There was a band that was going to play so it got crowded and they cracked the doors. We were going to stay but got froze out. Way to cold to enjoy. It's a shame one of my favorite places.

Outdoor shopping, dining and activities. Ideal for high-rise dwellers and families with young children.

We went here to go see a movie at Cinetopia, which was a pretty nice theater, didn't spend any other time at the shopping area. Everything looked nice and we've heard the area was pretty nice, but its kinda out of our way to travel that far. The parking lots seemed to be full and not enough parking spots.

Overpriced and not really worth the drive. The museum is worth going at least once.

I like to go to the top of the parking garage at night and look at the city. 10/10. Also got some great restaurants up there

We went with no children but enjoyed the main exhibit about Megadons and the ancient seas. The nearby restaurants and shops made it a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Fun, Food, Movies, Coffee, Sweets and Treats all in one location, make this a great stop for my wife and I.

Great museum for kids and adults! Lots to see and do! Lots of hands on activities for kids.

The pizza at Prairiefire's Grimaldi's Pizzeria is excellent. I drive all the way across town to eat here.

Cool place to hang out, with several restaurant options and of course, Cinetopia. The parking situation can be tricky so if you are coming here at a busy time and are on a schedule, better get here early to ensure a place to park.

What a wonderful family museum to visit. The staff there is very informed and very professional. This is the place to take the children for a great memory, that bonds forever as a family unit. FB APOLLO PROJECT.

Nice place. Really only got in Shoe warehouse and Stein Mart...both very nice.

I've enjoyed the stores and restaurants that have been here. It's also nice to have the theater and museum nearby.

If you are going here avoid Cinitopia, worst theater in the metro. Looks nice on the outside, but once you get in the theaters it is like walking into a litteral garbage dump.

This place is heaven for great food and activities.. highly recommend for a night for high class food and nice places for shopping and tons of activities!

Parking is always an issue. But otherwise always a pleasure to walk about and see what is new

Prairefire has been a phenomenal addition to Overland Park. The museum is so fun for kids of all ages and the many restaurants and shops make it perfect for an afternoon out. There is free valet parking on Friday and Saturday nights with a tip suggested/encouraged. The movie theatre is very comfortable and cheaper than others in the area. There is also a bowling alley, toy store, and dessert place which makes Prairiefire a "one stop shop" so to speak. Has the class of the legends without the drive!

Also effective, but there is a museum and a movie theater.

Always enjoy a good movie here! Love the seating.. just like being in your front room but with a more comfy chair and a bigger screen LOL

Prairiefire is an excellent place to eat and visit. I would have to say the eateries can be limited and become redundant, but the atmosphere helps keep things fresh and exciting. I recommend Coco Bolos or PinStripes. You can't go wrong! Happy Hour!

I feel like part of the 1% when I walk around here. It's a small little mall in the middle of nowhere prairie, but it feels very sophisticated and expensive. They sometimes have live music outside where you can hear it from many of the bars.

The deviled eggs & the cornbred are out of this world!

Great place for drink and other activities. Has a museum, a theater, a bowling alley and some neat stores

Ribs at Rock & Brews were great. Try the flight of dark beers.

Nice clean restaurant nothing extra exciting , food was nic and hot ....

It was fun, interesting and educational. It would be a great place to bring your kids or grandkids.

My experience at Prairie Fire was great! I was there the weekend the new Star Wars movie came out and it was packed! However, Prairie Fire had FREE valet stations set up through out their area so it was completely stress free. My friend and I also stopped and had pizza at Grimaldis and that was also a wonderful experience. The server was very knowledgable and friendly and the pizza is outstanding. I am so excited Prairie Fire is here! I can't wait to come back!!

We went top Cobo something. The food was exceeding good

It's one of the prettiest places in Lee's Summit, and the stores there are very cool and nice. The restaurants there are great.

The gals at the threshing Bee are always helpful picking out gifts and showing me good deals.

I love that area, the theatre is great (all theatres are expensive now and this one is no different), but it's surrounded by some great restraunts and some shops. And it's pretty to walk in the area. Definitely town and shopping, but the food is good on the surrounding restraunts.

Parking sucks but otherwise great. Several places to eat and shop and easy to walk between. Glad AMC bought Cinetopia.

Love the atmosphere. Architecture is great. Wish more urban planning would follow their lead

This is a great place to spend a couple hours in the afternoon.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I had no idea they have a reverse happy hour everyday.

Love that this place is so close, and is always changing to learn new things.
