Consider alternate electrical company. Quote one price then not clear on what is necessary for inspection, passing their errors off on the customer. My project remains unresolved due to lack of electrical knowledge.

Was nearly ran over by one of their trucks. The driver and passengers then proceeded to laugh and wave at my family like it was some sick joke. We reported the van number (374) to their office but they didn't seem concerned in the slightest. Gave us the impression they expect this type of behavior from their staff. If that sort of dangerous and irresponsible behavior by their employees is any indication, I wouldn't let them change the batteries in my TV remote.

Jon did an amazing job replacing an entire breaker box and installing a car charger outside the house. He is very easy to talk to and provided help during the entire process (which included questions over the phone, e-mails and the quote itself, which was sent to us a few minutes after the leaving the house). The service was made timely and in a very efficient way! I highly recommend Prairie Electric! :)

They are very fast to unload you may be like 10 to 15 mins. Thay open 7 am . Also you can park at their facilty. Plus lots of food around near this place.

We have depended on Prairie Electric a few times and not once have we been disappointed in their service. Ryan came out today to install some light fixtures and we were, again, so pleased with our decision to call Prairie Electric. Besides installing some new light fixtures for us we asked if he could check an issue with our electric range. Many businesses would have only taken care of the initial call for service....not one complaint when we asked if he could check the elecric range as well. Not only did he inspect the issue we were having, he corrected it for us right then. Friendly personnel, great service and prices.

Prairie Electric did service on our duplex today to conclude the required repair list on a sale of the property. There were several electrical items on the list such as multiple lugged neutrals, verifying or installing a new ground, wiring anomalies in one of the circuits, remounting the electric meters which had pulled away from the building, etc. We were concerned whether the electrician they sent would be up to getting this list done in one day. They got the problems diagnosed and solved quickly, and the repair list went like clockwork. Their electrician, Dan Niemi, did great work and I can breathe easier tonight knowing all of the repair items on this sale have been done well, quickly and economically!

Had Ryan come out and troubleshoot my issue. Within minutes he found not one but multiple outlets were bad. He was quick, timely and a great point person for the company on my first experience with them. I will call them every time from here on out. THANK YOU RYAN

The light fixture in our kitchen stopped working, and we took the opportunity to change the fixture to something we liked better, but that fixture didn't work either! Turned out we had a bad switch, they put in a new one and even finished installing the light, Really appreciate it Praire

Jon, Dan, and especially Ryan were great. They rewired entire fire damaged house. Timely, flexible, great communication. Not only does this company do giant jobs like Amazon at Troutdale and Spokane, but they were more than fair on bid and a pleasure to work with. You can not do better if small or large job.

Superb, efficient work done by Dennis. Our deck outlets are now working, the hot tub wiring is secure, and our breaker panel is corrected. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Not only was the work great, Prairie Electric was able to find time to do my work on the same day, with a great price. I was very impressed with hard work from both electricans. Love my new ceiling fans. They put a switch on the wall so I'm now able to use a switch or remote for the light /fan. Highly recommend this company.

I always use Prairie Electric for the important electrical work at FarmHill Equestrian Center, my large WOODEN horse barn, where one electrical problem could lead to disaster. That's why I use the very best electricians...Prairie Electric. They are responsive, thorough, informative, and reasonably priced. (If you don't think so, compare prices with other quality electricians!) Recently, Christian came out to find a short circuit that was plaguing our office, and he figured out a way to rewire the circuit that was more efficient and less expensive. Hooray for Prairie Electric!

On a Sunday, of course, we lost power in a section of our house. Breakers and RFIs were all OK. Called PE and 80 minutes later we were repaired and good to go. The tech took time to explain the issue to me and how this might be avoided in the future.

After 2 companies didn t even show up, Prairie (John) came out and gave us a quote and was very polite and professional. Then Dan and Bo came out for the work and did an EXCELLENT job. Would definitely have them back if we needed more work.

When I called for an estimate, on two separate occasions I was told that the job of dropping a 220V line from one room to the room next door would cost around $200. The first hour costs $130 and then there is an $80 fee for the second hour.
When the nice guy came he opted out of crawling into the attic and just convinced me it was best to put junction box and a flex pipe to the new location 2 feet into the next room over. I was told the estimate for my original request would cost much, much more!? I agreed to the cost of $230 with the electrician telling me it might not take the full amount of time.

When he finished less than 45 minutes later, I expected to not pay the price of two hours. No sir. When I brought it to his attention when it was time to pay, I said, but it took less than an hour? He agreed and said the rest of the cost was parts. He used : 2 metal boxes, 2 ft of 220v wire and metal flex pipe, and a socket that cost me $100?! Oh yes, he also used a handful of wingnuts. Add the tax on top of that and he got paid $250 and was here less than an hour!!!

In a nutshell, he knew I had budgeted around $230, so.....He overcharged me and blamed it on a few parts?!

Think you are going to pay the proper rate? Well, don't forget about the inflated prices of parts that cost them pennies.

I expected honesty and work done as estimated. Instead, I get overcharged for a crooked metal box sticking out of the wall. :( Find a company that doesn't bait you with a low estimate!!!

I would have given 1 star, but the electrician was pleasant and did the job quickly. It's just sad he overcharged me.

Just moved to town, bought forever home, and hired Prairie Electric to do a few projects for us.

Prairie Electric is very responsive and I feel, is invested in making sure the customer is happy with their work. As a woman, it was great that they did not talk down to me, and actually took time to educate me.

I feel they have gone above and beyond for our family; thank you Prairie Electric!

I had an intermittent porch light that needed fixing. I had called a couple other electric contractors a few days ago, but they never called back. I figured they don't get too enthusiastic about small jobs. I called Prairie today and they happened to have some workers whose job was just wrapping up, and they came by in about 20 minutes and fixed it in about 20 minutes. The price was very reasonable.

We had the guys at Prairie Electric come out to put up a security light in the back of our house and look at some other electrical problems we were having. The electrician was friendly, very helpful and got the job done quickly. He also troubleshooted another issue we were having where our lights kept blowing a fuse every time we turned our bathroom and bedroom light on at the same time. We were very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone!

I had a problem with my electricity at my house. I called Prairie and it was less than a half and hour when Michael arrived. Super nice, (I like to work with nice people), and immediately found the issue. I will always think of them if I ever need an electrician. Thank you, Michael.

I called up Prairie Electric to get a quote on some possible work to be done. The service tech talked through the potential problem and assisted me over the phone. Very friendly, very knowledgeable. they were able to solve my problem in a 5 minute phone call. If I ever have any other issues i will definitely will be coming back to them. Highly recommend.

I used prairie electric to change my panel box, I got quotes from 2 other companies, normally I don't go with the lowest (which they were by a few hundredhdollars) but after reading the reviews and honestly partly because I see their trucks everywhere which made me think they must be well established, I went with them. They arrived on time, the technician was knowledgeable and on time and they put in aa to of the line panel box. 5 stars

We had a commercial Machine Lathe down and they were able to rewire the machine without a correct wiring schematics. The technician John W was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and saved our company thousands.

We had the acrid smell of hot wiring, and we ended up calling the fire department. Nothing caught fire, but the fire department recommended we get an inspection before flipping the breakers back on that control the fixtures where the smell occurred. We called Prairie Electric, and even though they had a fully scheduled day, they managed to squeeze us in within a few hours of calling. I believe the technician was named Dennis. He was extremely polite, diagnosed the problem quickly, made some no-pressure recommendations, and he allowed me to make my decisions. He brought our wiring up to code in those two rooms, fixed the issue, and left both work areas spotless. The cost was extremely reasonable. We will definitely use Prairie Electric for any future needs.

With Covid going on, we were nervous about having work done inside..but Prairie Electric was GREAT! Did everything right in regard to precautions without being asked (this household has an 89 yo senior and a caregiver) and was quick and efficient with all the jobs we needed done! Will DEFINITELY be calling these guys for any more electrical work in the future. The price was great too!

Needed a built-in oven range re-wired as it was originally installed by a hack. The wiring was terrible and arced the system, almost causing a fire. I called these guys and they stated they didn't have an opening for a week, but said they would put me on standby. Two hours later an electrician came out, and within an hour the oven was re-wired and working again! Quality work and awesome customer service. Highly recommended.

Had an issue and made an appointment, but Dan was cool and honest enough to advise me to call PUD first. Glad he did, as the issue was at the street and my problem was fixed for free. Honesty and integrity go a long way with me and it's not always easy to find. The next time I do need the services of an electrician, I will for sure call Prairie!

First time home buyers. Power kept flickering and shutting off. Called the first number we found. Wish we had shopped around. We asked them to install the bathrpom fan. Technician straight up said he didnt want to go into attic and if he had to he would take his time to run the hourly bill up. We also found out we needed a new breaker box. Just to find out this information we paid over 200 bucks i believe. Then we scheduled appt for breaker box which was a week out and 1600 bucks. Wish we had known before hand to tell them they had to clean up after themselves and not destroy the drywall. My 3 year old is still finding pieces despite me vacumming. There work did NOT pass inspection the first time around. We were told the inspector would be scheduled for Wednesday and he came Friday (they told us this is normal for the city). Anyway, after it didnt pass they sent someone back out to fix it. They told us that they would schedule the inspector to come back out wednesday. Friday rolls around and we call to find out they forgot to schedule it. Spouse spoke to someone in effort to have them fix the damage or at least buy the drywall and we will install it. They had us send pictures then stopped responding.

I needed a small low-voltage job done quickly. I called around and most places were booked out several weeks. Prairie was able to get out within about 2 hours of my call. The men who came were professional and courteous, and got the job done in about 90 min, for a reasonable price.

Originally I called to schedule an appointment with an electrician, but the employee on the phone was kind enough to ask me to try a simple thing, which ended up fixing my problem. He was very polite and had obviously had run into plenty of calls like mine in the past. I appreciate the friendliness I experienced here and will remember them if I need any (real) work in the future.

I was very impressed with this company, I called to set up an appointment and they were booked out two weeks. They offered to put me on a wait list to hopefully get a sooner time and they came that afternoon! Courteous, professional and a fair price. I will definitely recommend and use again.

Called them and got an appointment set for the next day. Dylan and Dennis were very friendly and professional. Granted is was probably an easier job for them, it was fun to see their communication and troubleshooting.

Within an hour my lighting fixture issue was resolved. *** Not complaining, just letting future customers know *** Even though my job only took an hour, I was charged for two. I commented on this and they mentioned that if there were only one of them, it would have taken more than an hour, so I essentially paid for two hours, but they job got done in one. Makes sense and I'm happy to pay it.

Prairie Electric doesn't return your calls. I have left 5 messages for service to my alarm system and Brad Johnson is supposed to call back. He doesn't and the receptionist would not give me the general manager so that I could talk with him. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

We had an unexpected need for an electrician for an urgent, but small, repair. Dan in scheduling said he could get someone out that afternoon, which he did. Mark did an unbelievably fabulous job - situation resolved in less than 90 minutes, for a VERY reasonable price. I'm a customer for life!

Quoted a price then increased it more than double stating that they didn't know what other work was involved. The walls were all open so how could they not see? Additionally, two rooms power went out the day after the work was done and they said they couldn't come out without charging for a weekend charge? This place is a class act
