Hiring languages teachers without checking they can speak the advertised language?

Such poor organisation had to call candidates back as they "forgot" to ask all the interview questions!!

Poor lesson plans taken straight off TES sometimes in the incorrect language.

NO ADAPTION IN PLANS IN LINE WITH COVID 19 GUIDELINES, HENCE STAFF UNABLE TO TEACH EFFECTIVELY AND SAFELY IN LINE WITH PLANS AND GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES. Example: lessons with singing, touching, sharing objects. Very poor planning with regards to this, putting people's children at risk.

Avoid at all costs.

Very nice company, the staff is always available and very helpful. Only just started a few weeks ago and all is going very well, love the lesson plans and the practicability of their system. They found me a lovely job in a beautiful, small school, and so far so good...

I worked with PPA primary Cover for a term and really enjoyed it. Very thorough checks and great refresher courses on Prevent, KCSIE and First Aid. Although I never met the staff face to face I still felt the video interview process and subsequent calls with them were of the highest standard, if they didn't have the answers to queries at the time they always called back. I was paid accurately and on time. Sadly my employment was only a short term contract, but I shall stay on their books and would have no problem picking up teaching work with them again.
I also feel I need to point that the two recent 1 star reviews I've seen on here are EXACTLY the same, even though they are written by 'different' people. Someone not so clever with an axe to grind perhaps!!!

Appalling company. Sent to wrong schools and wrong year groups. Lessons provided were inadequate and often in two languages French and Spanish taken straight off of TES. Not been paid in two months. Car crash and I pay them back, deductions from wages. Taking legal action. Avoid at all costs.

Since I joined PPA Cover they are constantly looking for work for me. Shelly and Leah are very helpful and keep in regular contact to keep me updated, would definitely highly recommend. Ana M M Garcia

I started to work for this company in February 202 and I can say the staff is very supportive and polite. The teachtool system is very useful and easy to manage. They provide courses for the continuing professional development. Primary PPA Cover is a great company to work with.

Great company to work! Staff are very supportive and so polite. Always wanting the best for both staff and the school. Primary PPA Cover are so professionally yet so easy to build a relationship with the staff from the head office.

Morally bankrupt company.

Morally bankrupt company.

Obviously an old hand and recruiting and unfairly dismissing at the drop of a hat.

Zero support.

Training consisting of a half-hearted PowerPoint presentation over Zoom.

Recruiting without proper ID checks and they make you pay for your own DBS form, essentially asking you to work a day for free.

Poor communication and none of the online resources work. So-called lesson plans need massive amounts of adapting. You'll basically be given the responsibility of a class teacher (planning, behaviour management etc) but get paid a fraction of their wage.

Lesson plans were non-sensical

Couldn't even conduct an interview properly, having to call back after forgetting half the questions. This was after the interview was offered, cancelled and offered again.

Getting their own management to submit Google reviews below. Ignore 5 star reviews as they are obviously internal.

Avoid contact or opportunities with this company at all costs.

IT resources barely worked and didn't have access to lesson plans until a day before starting

I had to pay for my own DBS - essentially asking you to work over a day for free
