My husband and I are both disabled and Encore in Reading wasn't providing free tax preperation this year but gave the number for VITA. We went to Pottstown on one of their schedule open days and times and we got amazing help with the process of US having to fill out a bunch of paperwork in our own and then leave all our tax information with these amazing volunteers. They did have a 2 week backlog, so they will call me when to go back down to sign a bunch of papers and they'll send our taxes off to the IRS. Without people and places like this the older generation and disabled whom need help wouldn't have anywhere to go. Thank the Lord for Family Services. They were all so nice and helpful. Absolutely professional personal. Hopefully will be able to go there again next year. Keep up the great work.
It was the worst experience ever. They can't keep staff there and the case worker I had there had no clue what she was doing. I am a diabetic and I asked my case worker for food vouchers and she said she would be here to give me some never heard from her icalled Elizabeth up and she seemed like she didn't care either . I do not recommend no one to go here they don't live up to there name.
It's a great place to get help with everyday situations. They helped me with my taxes.
