Potter Handy, LLP Review

I found them to be a great firm to work with. My case was a very difficult one. They stayed very patient and I always felt like my case was important to them.

They agreed to represent me in a difficult case. The potential for a large payout was not too good. They decided I was being discriminated against and "IT was the RIGHT thing to do." After many months and plenty of hours spent on this case they were able to get a fair resolution. It would have been great for the high dollar payout but that was not going to happen.

Their team work really hard to get my settlement. They took my case when I had been turned down by several other firms. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a discrimination or ADA case. And if you aren't sure they are the right Firm for you call them and let them direct you to the help you need.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LAW OFFICE!!!! I called this law office for a consultation and spoke with Ryan. Ryan redirected me to Sonia. I consulted with her regarding my issues and she couldn t understand what I was communicating to her so she asked if I had documents that would be able to elaborate on the issues I was having and said she would email me or send me a link. But she never did. I called back and spoke with Ryan who couldn t help or answer any of my questions about why Sonia never sent me a link to send my documents so I replied ok and then I get an email from sonia stating that the law office would not be able to help me and to seek legal counsel elsewhere. This place cant communicate with potential clients in an effective and concise way. I even asked to leave a message for Rene, however they said shes busy and would leave a message. For being the leading law firm in representing persons with disabilities in their civil rights claims I felt lost and turned away.

Not too long ago, some of the businesses in my community had barriers in their facilities which excluded people, like myself, with disabilities (mobility impairments) from accessing goods and services. After contacting, consulting, and hiring Mark, positive results soon followed: those shameful barriers of exclusion, which had existed for years, came tumbling down as they were removed by the business owners. Thanks to the many ADA betterments, which were executed as a direct result of the settlements negotiated by Mark, I am able to live more independently and to participate more actively in my community. My family and I now have more location options where we can shop or get services in an accessible manner. I feel, thanks to Mark and his Team, that I, never again, have to put up with being excluded from everyday activities, such as shopping at a corner store, going to a neighborhood restaurant or movie with family and friends, or using the swimming pool at a hotel on our family vacation. In my community, the action taken by Mark and his Team has truly resulted in a reduction of discrimination against people with disabilities and has opened doors for full participation in all aspects of everyday life for me and my family.

This firm, if you can call it that, specializes in frivolous/shakedown ADA lawsuits on small businesses. Our website is completely ADA compliant and they still sued us. I'm sure they're hoping for a quick settlement. Not this time.

I am paraplegic with a permanent spinal cord injury wheelchair bound I've been disabled for 17years,i met Potter Handy about 7years ago Before I knew anything about ADA rights I suffered alot from discrimination now that I know my rights Potter Handy firm helps me exercise them,and Helps get things right for any barriers I come across ,I believe we should all enjoy our visits to any establishments equally and not be rejected or discriminated because of our disabilities Potter Handy firm please keep doing a good job Keep making the movement

I truly can not say enough good things about the whole team over at Potter Handy. They not only helped make me whole in an employment case, but they kept me always in the loop and consulted with me regularly. when it comes to court proceedings anyone can tell you, they take a whole lot of time. Apparently, these jokers are the scum bags of the legal profession who have developed a niche business using federal law. So when they run out of deep pockets to sue, they start going after mom and pop taco shops. Disgraceful!!
