I had a small bracket powder coated. I asked that the threaded holes not be powder coated, and it was noted on the work order.
Picked up the part a week later, and the threaded holes are powder coated.
Decided to take it home anyway an fix it, so I didn't have to wait another week.
Powder coating just flaked off. Touch it with anything and it chipped. Metal is shiny underneath the coating, so I suspect there was little to no surface prep.

I was nothing but pleased beginning to end. Took MANY vintage car parts here. Many of them small (suspension washers and such). They kept track of everything, did it on time, excellent work and very fair price. Provided everything back to me wrapped well so that nothing would get damaged after the work was done.

They were also very pleasant to work with. One of their guys even helped sort through all my parts to make sure they were all there (15 minutes of his time!).

I did have to call them to find out if the job was done. I saw another reviewer complain about that. Yeah, they should probably call me when the job is done or have questions, but if you just realize they may not do that and you may have to call, then everything else will be excellent.

These guys are great! I brought in 5 very old heat grates with thick paint and rust. They stripped then powder coated them and they are beautiful. The time it took and price were very reasonable. They are also very friendly and have great customer service.

Juan and his crew did a nice job with my 39 miscellaneous auto parts from my 1967 MGB GT restoration. There were a couple minor flaws and some light coverage of powder on a couple of the parts, but overall I am satisfied and will continue to use Portland Powder Coating even though it is a bit further than my local powdercoater

I want to start my review by saying the work they do is really good, but their customer service is terrible. I have taken things here twice now and both times I have called a month later wondering the status of the powder coating and both times they forgot to put my items in the queue of work. I have also been told on the phone that they would call me back to confirm things, and I would never receive a call back.

So if you don t mind project managing them to finish your stuff, I would recommend them. I prefer not to. I am usually one not to write reviews, but I want to warn anyone from my experience both times working with them. They did give me a slight discount for the time delay, but I would rather pay more elsewhere. They offered to fix their rush job error, but I was just too tired of dealing with them.

Great customer service. Very reasonable pricing. They sand blasted and powder coated a scooter frame for me. It looks amazing. Blows the factory paint job away. I will be returning to PPC for future service. Guaranteed.

I dropped off a new unfinished SS brush guard for my e-DHMTB to get done up in textured matte black. 5 days later (as promised) it was ready. I picked it up and could not be happier. Finish was exactly what I expected. I highly recommend their services for any powder coating needs. A-1 superb. Absolutely.

I had a small order of 12 cast iron parts for two reclaimed garden benches. The parts were extremely rusty and dirty. I had them sandblasted and powder coated. The quality of the work PPC did was absolutely perfect. The parts are simply beautiful and I can expect them to hold up for many years. The reason I don't give PPC 5 stars is that the parts weren't ready until a full month after the original promised date. In addition, I never got a single update from PPC, I always had to call them, and the delivery date kept changing. That said, PPC is highly recommended, but expect to have to be very patient, and very proactive about your order.
