I am very pleased with Portland Benefits Group and have recommended them to several friends. The staff is knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful for individuals going through the process of choosing insurance. When I first started evaluating insurance options, I found that other agencies were telling me only a small part of what I needed to know; Portland Benefits Group, however, filled in all the gaps to help me be informed and see the full picture.

Insurance can be confusing and life insurance for yourself and loved ones is especially overwhelming. Portland Benefits Group was incredibly helpful. Everett talked through the basics with me and then sent me a link so I could walk through application and health survey privately. The interface was very easy and I didn t have to worry about scheduling a physical with my doctor. I just picked a time and a registered nurse showed up at my front door. She explained the forms and set up the test equipment while I was doing the dishes. Now that is a time saver.

All and all, the experience was very professional and convenient and now I have peace that my family would be protected if something were to happen to my husband or I. And our policies were super affordable!

Gabe with Portland benefits group has been amazing to work with! He has gone above and beyond for my family when getting health care coverage seemed hopeless.
We had enrolled with healthcare coverage through the marketplace but when it came time to add our newborn the marketplace system would not allow me to do so online or over the phone and kept giving an error that even the marketplace representatives and supervisors couldn t figure out. Gabe with his knowledge and experience was able to find the problem with their system rather quickly after I had tried on my own EIGHT times. This next year we will NOT be using the marketplace and will rely on Gabe and Portland benefits group to find us the best coverage for our family as I now trust and value their superior customer service and reliable follow up.

Insurance ran out with OHP, I now make more money so I don't qualify for free insurance. So I called OHP to apply for insurance and I was on hold for more then 2 hours, decided to contact Portland Benefits Group, and spoke with Chris Wang. Honestly he was very professional I didn't feel pressured or anything, he made sure the plan we chose was the best option for me. I'm not to familiar with the process of renewing my health insurance, but after the conversation i had with Chris, I feel more comfortable and at ease. Chris Wang was one of the most condescending and evasive individuals I ve encountered in a long time. He either failed to understand my questions about coverage for my daughter, initially obtained through his company for 2016, or pretended to misunderstand, when I called trying to sort out coverage for 2018. He was, however, very quick to badmouth the former employee who had been extremely helpful and competent when arranging the 2016 coverage. I ll never do business or recommend anyone associated with Portland Benefits Group ever again.
