Porter has provided and will keep providing us concrete on quite a few of our paving / foundation projects. Any time I have a lab test the concrete, they always test high, and they are always timely, providing the right amount of trucks needed to avoid making you wait on concrete. Any questions that have come up on pours, our sales representative, Larry Lee, is prompt to make a job-site visit and address anything that needs to be addressed. Aaron Currie, a job-site rep for Porter, has gone out of his way multiple times to meet me at jobs to assess how we will get concrete trucks to where we need them. I can't recommend this company enough. Excellent service.
This was a good company. I hope it still is but when I called I got Mexican music for about 30 seconds before anyone said anything. The guy was laughing and talking to someone in the back ground. I asked him questions he was in a rush to get off the phone. He hung up on me. I had to call back to finish what I was asking...
Used Porter for the first time today for a pour in the Heights. Jim was great to deal with in the office. The trucks showed up on time, and the drivers knew how to do their jobs well. I'd highly recommend them for your next job. After a string of disappointing jobs with other companies who think arriving 3 hours late is OK, and not answering their phones, this was a great change.
